I started skating in the early 70's on a Derby Skate called fireball.. then I bought chicago rollerskates .. i always loved them..they lasted for yrs and yrs.. i got a new pair last year and I upgraded them by changing the wheels and bearings along with softer cushings/bushings .. they're perfect.. moxi skates are cute but not worth the money when you can have the same performance with a less expensive skate like Chicago. (The aluminum plates are the better ..not the plastic plates) ..chicago rollerskates have proven to last ..
Guys if you wanna buy them just get new weels they work good on the rink with different weels don’t recommend doing jumps and trips on em because that’s how they fall apart ,
I've been doing jumps on these roller skates and they haven't fallen apart, if you are doing jumps outdoors then if of course they will fall apart since the wheels aren't made for outdoor.
I'm probably going to buy these. I've been having my mind on these..but a lot of people say it's mostly for inside, but I'm probably gonna try and change the wheels lol
Don't be fooled..The only thing that makes them indoor or outdoor skates are the wheels.. soft wheels are for outdoor skating and hard wheels are for indoor..
@@smxkeypurp changing the cushings/ bushings from the hard black ones to softer ones helps with maneuverability along with loosening the trucks a bit ..
The reviews I’ve seen say that the Chicago wheels are bad. Do you think it’s better to purchase the Chicago skates and different wheels or just purchase higher priced skates? I’m also looking into Rio Skates? Any feedback will help please.
This was 2 weeks ago, but the wheels aren't that bad if you are using them indoors, the material on the wheels felt weird for me at first since I never had those type of wheels but you'll get used to them. I just recommend buying some new wheels if you are going to use them outdoors.
You were really brave to skate out there without your gear on...I am older so l will be wearing minds.... I have been teaching myself all over again.with the help of the UA-cam teachers.. You are going to be great at it .Practice all the time and you will get that backwards skating in no time.
Yes Chicago skates aren’t that bad!! Ppl make them sound so bad. And good luck on ur backward skating sis
Their great for me! I just learning and I just changed the wheels. Update this weekend!
@@CallmeLAX Chicago scates are pretty decent but you really have to Change the wheels because the stock ones are plastic and horrible

sorry for the late response. I wear a women's 8 and got a size 6 in skates. I think they fit right to size when going by skate boot sizing.
Taylor JaLayne , no worries, but thank you so much!! This helped a lot
Does anyone know where I can find roller skates and perhaps with a size 9? They are out of stock everywhere 😂 😭💕
