In general, the TI units are faster in response to inputs. This is seen when quickly switching between sonar, downscan, chart, and split screens ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxeAxH15LxhjGlg5-CRYqjTGTEH0tbY4vk recommend The Hook units will show some lag on button pushes and screen switching. The big ticket item though is maps. If you install a mapping card such as Navionics or the free C-Map Genesis which has a lot of map detail, then moving around the map with the cursor or when running down the lake can lag significantly on the Hook units, but is seamless with the TI units.
Yea absolutely Ronnie! Soon as we get some more time we are going to be covering some really good topics related to the live scope features to get peoole catching more fish! Stay tuned more to come!!
Hey Eric! It was mainly in auto however we found that at certain depths the auto setting would try an calculate lateral distance and the view would sort of expand and contract..once you find the depth and distance your going to be fishing in simply take it off of auto and you view will be stationary.
@@jayb7675 its definantly a game changer! With tradition downscan sonar as well as side scan sonar you can locate structure really fast but that's where The line is drawn. The side scan can locate a rock or brush like 100 ft. Each side of the boat no problem but that only shows potential..the true beauty of pan optix livescope lies in what's actually going on in real time below the boat..u can literally pull up to a spot and count how many fish are actively on the intended target..something never before avalible to fisherman..u can see your bait and adapt to whatever will trigger the strike!
I recently bought one of these. A little tip I bought the 93sv. Strait out of box it did not have the latest software version to support livescope. It would have been no problem at home. I was at my cabin on the lake it cost me a day of fishing, driving a distance for the scandisk and $30.00 to a kid to download it for me. Mad as hell till I got on the water and turned it on.
I would think it would be a game changer in the fact if you see fish come to the lure and swim away you can know either you have wrong bait, or color. As now I might not know they are there at all. If you fish a spot for 20 mins and get no hits, you assume there’s nothing there and leave. With live scope you can see there interested but something needs to change to make them hit. Definitely going to get one. I was holding off to buy Panoptix until they refined it some. Now looks like the time to buy!
@@joelvaldez346 the fish still have all the advantages, they don't have to bite, AND, you still have to find them....in this case, he put his own cover down there, which enticed fish to use that spot, then marked it with GPS, etc., so he was using all of the features that technology affords us today....

Very interesting!!! what's the maximum depth that this technology works at sea environment ???
That was perfect it's exactly like what it's like using live scope 👍
Great Job on the video, but when you get time can you show us how you got it mounted on your boat or trolling motor. Keep the videos coming. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing this! This new technology is incredible
We finally got us the Garmin Livscope!

Would you say this is a game changer? Are you catching more fish because of this technology...or is it something that is just nice to have?

Have you tried the livescope in the river above Choke?
Imagine the possibilities to pursue gamefish with such technology.
Which exact model number of three transducer is this?
