I'm about to get Garmin units for a small fishing boat and was going to get a 7" and 9" unit. Would the 9" be big enough to see well if I get panoptix too?
This is about to be a seriously dumb question but my boat currently has no fish finders on the front of the boat and i want to install two fish finders in the front i want one with Garmin panoptix so the transducer would connect on the trolling motor then where would i put the other transducer for the second one. And what is the best fish finder in the market for like 500/600 $$
Garmin echomap 93sv , just purchased mine for $599 at bass pro it has down & side imaging, the expensive thing is the panoptix livescope transducer it cost me &1500 but it’s amazing
and actually just watching your video do you have both transducers on the trolling motor and wouldn't their be interference Im just a kid trying to figure things out and i don't know anything and their is no help on the internet for adding two finders on the front of the boat
That is awesome. I have been studying the Panoptix for a while now and this is one of the best videos I've seen showing it used in live application.
I used the panoptix yesterday just like this and it worked. It was my first time with this tech, worked great!

Both on the TM. One under the motor and Panoptix on the shaft
