Sure Good welders don't care, but people who are trying to learn fabrication need that kind of Info. You don't see that in a lot of videos. Most think they must have Professionals only watching. LOL Good Job Slick 50 -- New Subscriber been watching Pudden since begining.
Slick after watching you carrying puddin all this time and saying you don’t want to do UA-cam you look very comfortable on your show. Great job and keep up the great work.
a lot of people see a car like this after its done and cant quite grasp how many hundreds or even thousands of hours go into prepping the metal for a show quality paint job keep up the good work!
There's something very satisfying, and even therapeutic, watching someone who knows what they are doing transforming a object to its former glory. I also appreciate how you describe what you are doing any why, especially since I've never done any metal work like this. It's such a cool car. Great job Slick! Thanks for posting.
Love that style of hot rod. Always wanted a T-bucket till I had a chance to sit in one and decided I need a lot more leg room. LOL That tool you used to strip the metal is a beast! Thank you for sharing your "hows and whys" of your work.
Love your show slick you're getting used to working in front of the camera your craftsmanship is very good take it from me I've been building rods for 61 years
First of all I want to wish you and Charlie all the best. I think your work ethic is awesome. Most guys would just slap some bondo on it, sand it down and call it done. However you go above and beyond that.
I had alot more success with my tig welds when I switched to a #12 fupa cup with a gas lense it allowed me to pull the tungsten out further and still have gas shield !! It helped me see my weld better and improved my end result product .
Amazing skills! I took auto body in highschool about 50 years ago just didn't have the feel for it. So I really appreciate the level of skill you have.
Thank you for keeping everything relatable to the common working man. So many of these channels have blown up and have new shops with big lifts and fancy tools when most people can’t afford any of those things .I love the fact that you are a knowledgeable and very patient teacher . Your channel will always succeed as long as you stick those golden rules. ❤
Excellent video Slick 50 :) yes takes tap , pucks ,.welding shape parts on place and lots hours for sure! Also seen welding wire you did with too done that way to before and so cool too!
Nice to a master at work, not many people left with this level of skill , dying bread keep the content coming slick, love the channel and love watching you and pudding working together, we need more Bill on the channel.😊
The thing I like most about your channel is your positive attitude and generous encouragement for beginners. Watching you cut out bad spots, cut and fit a replacement piece, and then precisely tack it in is so satisfying to watch! You make it look easy, but I know it took years to get to be that good. One thing I'd like to see you add is a description of the various tools and abrasives. What do you call the air tool grinder and the blue sanding disc?
I think it's great that you teach as you go, not just working without explaining what you do. I watch fitzees fabrications out of Newfoundland because he explains step by step as he goes.
Dam I wish I could do that I tried to do body work I told last time I guess you have the touch I used a quarter of bonds can't do but it's fun watching like your video 😊
I noticed your use of magnets. A great addition would be flexible refrigerator door magnets. Works well holding layup paper in place. Also good for pin striping guide. Find old discarded refrigerator and stit door gasket. Remove flexible magnet in side. Thanks for your detailed explanation of how you're getting professional results.
Hey Slick 50, came across an old hemi, a dragster and a 27 roadster for sale on marketplace, just thought I'd let you know about it, it's in Chouteau Ok, type in older hemi, dragster and roadster you should be able to find it, thanks for the content, keep doing what you're doing, I want to see more
Good afternoon from Cape Cod ⛵ the work you are doing Slick is really impressive, beyond perfection 💯 hello there Charlie 👋 thanks for another great video guys ✌️🇺🇲
bashing metal looks like hard work, when you are happy, you paint it, and nobody can see all your hard graft... fixing engines is easier, if it runs, you done it right, everybody can see it... keep it up young man
I have a feeling you've watched American graffiti a few times lol once you grind and d/a your work it's crazy how seamless and smooth it looks, Jacob really showed off his body working skills on the towrolla on the second channel I'm sure your jealous😂
Getting behind the panel to scribe sometimes just makes it easier, it is not required. Your goal is to get your patch panel into the hole as tight as possible. When tig welding you need to have very tight gaps for the best results.
I was trying to get the roof of my 69 bay window VW looking better this morning. Most of it is in pretty fair condition but there's extensive damage due to a fallen tree. So I really appreciate watching you do your magic with metal. I don't have the talent or skills. You are going to be one of the guys in high demand one day. The video skills ain't bad neither.
I know Puddin doesn't watch other utube channels . But you both should check out chaos designs out of Australia. She does metalwork that you won't believe . And she is building a custom dropped stout that Puddin needs to see.
Hey slick I know you have a lot of irons in the fire but I think you would do your self a big service if you could bit the bullet and make yourself some reusable metal templates of them, doors and certain panels that you could reuse for years
Great watching your special methods of working the metal, Slick. Thanks 👍
Thanks for watching!

Thank you for watching 🫡
Great job and another great video guys 👍👍
Appreciate you!
I can usually get the metal straight but getting out the small imperfections is a b****. Great work
Thank you! You got it!
That’s amazing
You hammer a fender and the metal flows and forms.
I hammer a fender and get dents!!!😂
You will get it with practice! You gotta make a lot of mistakes before you start seeing great results!
Great job, certainly a lot better than it was, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones

You really need to make a shirt that says “if that makes since”!!!!!!
Haha that makes sense
Well done slick. Enjoying the channel.👍

Back in our old oxy/accet days you were lucky to find a coat hanger in the house, we melted lots of those as welding wire
