Ford Ranger & Dodge Dakota Offroading | Ol' Florida Offroad Park (Part 1)

- This past weekend we attended an event at Ol' Florida Offroad Park which consisted of camping and offroading. Finding the limits of what the Ranger and Dakota can and can't do. This park is only accessible during private events and is on the top of Florida offroading with tons of different elements and beautiful scenery.

More info on the Ranger.. Tire size... Exhaust? You need a 589 Winch mount up front now!
Tires are 33's, I have a full build walkthrough on my channel with everything I have put on the Ranger thus far. Eventually that's the plan!

@@outlandishoverland I hated my Arb skids, they weigh like 100 lbs and you lose a inch of ground clearance... Changing oil sucks too. I went with fx4 skids instead. Not to mention to front approach angle felt more robbed. 🙄
@@Travisj9935 Yeah changing oil does suck and I measured when I installed them and its a little less than half an inch in loss ground clearance but definitely worth it for the protection they have provided me thus far. Have hit them to many times on different terrain and keeping everything protected is a must for me.
You all were running over and crushing turtkes and baby gators driving in that water channel.
It's at an off-road park. This area dries out for the majority of the year, definitely no animals in that water.
Then that's a different story. Too many off r8aders destroy our natural forest. Got to respect mother nature for sure.
Kund if like tgere are also too many of younger folks doing AT thru hiker ans they leave their damn trash behind at the shelters. They are simply too disrespectful and lazy to clean up after themselves.
Cool video. What is the trail location? Do you normally announced when you doing trails. Last thing did you have to cut the crash bars, for putting 33
The trail is located at Ol' Florida Offroad Park. The park is only open to the public for special events, you can't just go whenever you want. Yes, I usually announce where I am going to be at through my Instagram, coming up soon is the Blueberry Jam at this same park in May that I will be attending. Yes you do have to do some trimming of the crash bars to put 33s. I simply removed the rear ones and trimmed the fronts with an angle grinder.
I just got a ranger tremor i will be attending the blueberry jam. I also hit ocala frequently let me know if you want to link up.

That dodge is twice as powerful bc it's a v8
Actually it is less powerful in HP and Torque. Having more cylinders doesn't equal more power.
Dodge Dakota: 230 hp 295 tq
Ford Ranger: 270 hp 310 tq
