- We had to wait for Gone Fishin’ to come out to finally reveal the footage of our October cover’s kickflip backside noseblunt-slide down Clipper. We sat Ryan down and got the story behind the two visits to SF and getting his first cover at 32.
He never got a cover before????? Definitely a legend (in my eyes)

I wonder if when you watch a part in a skate video, if every trick involves this amount of preparation and trials before it is landed successfully. This takes a lot of determination
Not all but yeah at least a handful unless your Chris joslin it usually takes 6 months
good observation. yes each trick does involve preparation and trials depending on the difficulty of the tricks. also skaters have to push themselves harder than ever before so there are lots of trials

Gunz was around 28-29 when Cold War dropped. I see what you’re saying though. I find it kinda weird how being in your 30s is considered old in skating. In some ways it’s true cause a lot of guys video parts aren’t as gnarly when they get up there in age. Compare Gunz and Danes parts in Cold War versus Damn it All and you can tell they were gnarlier back then.
