One of the best part ever, 'watched it so many times... every trick is so tasteful, Ryan's style is one of the best, so pure and he always knows how to surprise in this part. The combination with the music is so good, I've already watched this part a 100 of times and I could watch it 100 more times without any problem! I think that PRod should have followed this way instead of losting in extreme switch complexity and street league stuffs : just looking for pure tasty tricks and pure steeze.
thanks so much for uploading this. first love has to be the most inspiring skate movie to watch. i just finished watching it then. and came on here to share something. after watching this movie i realise what its like to skateboard to your best. the feeling you get when you land a trick and roll away after a full day of attempts. its just amazing and nothing comes close to the feeling of riding a skateboard.
especially if you try one trick for so long. thats why bailing is good. if we didnt bail and just landed our shit, then skating wouldnt be the same. the feeling of trying something for so long and commiting fully to the trick, and then you land it. holy shit.
classic part, classic style. every time he shuvs into a noseslide/crook it makes this noise that sounds like bowling pins being knocked over, and it's beern stuck in my head since 2005. this was right before he got in plan b right? hence the blank board big spin. it's a shame transworld (both the magazine and videos) have been forgotten about. they were just as, if not more, influential as thrasher, but at some point it became cool to hate on em. kind of funny considering how contrived thrasher is. bunch of try hards.

Damn. Memories of the homies surrounding an old desktop getting ready to go skate. FIRST LOVE
Ryan will forever inspire me! One of the best styles in skateboarding then and now!

This part has aged so well. Intro is so true and genuine. Editing and song is iconic. Tricks are quality and well done. Can't beat it.
I’m so grateful to have grown up during this era of skating
So smooth. This is real skateboarding so much better than all the youtube shit that is out there.
yes yes
all skateboarding is skateboarding!! What matters is that your constantly stepping on that board and progressing for yourself.
Best vid part hands down to this day!
TIMELESS PART! Wish this was uploaded in better quality.

Every trick from the line in the parking lot to fs flip off the set was butter af!!
I love how Ryan stomps his tricks, once he has the rotation he literally slams every lb of his body weight into the deck. It’s great to watch

I remember when this video came out. That flatground frontside halfcab changed skateboarding overnight.
That front heel that starts at 2:04 is one of the sickest things I've ever seen.
