    These are perfect! I just decided that most nights I am going to try to prepare slow cooker dinners. I'm a stay at home mom but everything just feels too chaotic by dinnertime that I never can do much beyond everyone snacking or frozen meals.

      Slow cooker dinners are lifesavers!! I also recently started using an instant pot and it's been great too.

      @@jordanwaddell Can you put the noodles in the crockpot too? If so can you make a video showing how to cook the noodles in there?

    Well, that was a nice surprise. I've been looking for recipes for red lentils that are not curries and low and behold here is one. They all look delicious by the way. Thanks for sharing.

    I'm so pleased I found this video! This is just the kind of thing I like to eat and I'm looking forward to trying all three of your recipes. I'm sorry I don't have anything to offer you in return, but I'm grateful if that helps - and I liked and commented as well as watching the video all the way through.

      Slow Cooker Ideas thank you! I'm finding that it's super easy to veganize slow cooker recipes because you really don't have to work about under or over cooking anything :) it all just gets better the longer it cooks!

    Great vid..thank you. Little question...could I use quinoa instead of millet for the Mexican dish? ❤

    My favorite vegan slow cooker is red lentil dahl. I am going to try these, was trying to come up with millet uses.

      Oo I need to try the red lentil dahl! Do you follow a specific recipe or just throw it together?

    Loved these recipes, I used all of them and my family enjoyed very much! Even my husband who likes meat with everything :) Wondering what you use to substitute millet for if need be? I have a hard time finding at local stores?

    • @jordanwaddell
      @jordanwaddell  3 роки тому

      Wonderful! In place of millet you could use any small grain: rice, quinoa, couscous, etc. :)

    1 question....... Did you precook the red lentils for the bolognese sauce?

    • @jordanwaddell
      @jordanwaddell  5 років тому +1

      I did not. Just added enough liquid so that the lentils would cook while in the slow cooker - hope that helps!

    Just bought a crock pot, what size are you using? Mine says 3-4 people on the box and 3.5 litre capacity, will these recipe ingredients work with that?

    • @jordanwaddell
      @jordanwaddell  6 років тому +1

      Hi there! Mine is a 4 quart slow cooker which is about 3.7 liters! So it sounds like it's the same :)

    Can you use rice instead of millet? Thanks!

    • @jordanwaddell
      @jordanwaddell  6 років тому +1

      I'm sure you could! Millet doesn't take quite as long as rice, so just adjust cooking time or add a little extra liquid based on what your package of rice recommends :)

    So why doesn't hubby cook when you are at work and you can come home to a meal? I don't keep Italian dried herbs I have every Urban spice Under the Sun but I don't keep Italian ones because I think they taste like crap dried. So I would have to use time and something else parsley or something.

      SilverCharmbracelet not as uncouth as your only comment made for a well made video with lots of information about healthy meals. Glad I recently discovered her And subscribed. She’s a breath of fresh air.
