Both my husband and I gave up masturbation months ago thanks to the Holy Spirit lovingly convicting us both. He taught us to save that Holy Covenant of intimacy within us, being together and growing closer together in Him. Hope this helps with those that struggle with this issue. Its amazing how He brought two passionate people together, married us and when we dedicated our of ourselves, even our sexlives as a couple to Him wholly, all I can say is that its Him that creates True Romance. Kate Saunders i like what you said so you gave up msturbation you mean on your own or with your husband i personally dont see that as wrong INSIDE marriage however absolutely its not good outside on ure own though that takes time too when one is Born again we dont wrong we want to live lives honouring him and its the Holy spirit that does the work in us and your a case in point I know i struggle with Porn and lust however i have asked for Jesus help and i can slowly see the changes starting to happen it is a process but i know that if i fall not just that area other areas like being angry unfairly on others i can to the throne of grace and confess i am already forgiven and i know i can never ever lose salvation this restores the Joy and fellowship of my salvation
We will be given new bodies soon, unperishable. Until that happens, brother and sisters let's keep on relying on the Lord and fight the good fight from victory. We might fall again, but just keep on rising and fighting in Jesus again. Keep on until the very end. God knows our hearts.

It's getting harder for me to do God's will, i never knew it would be this hard to walk the straight and nar path.
But with God's power i will overcome.
Your not alone by a far cry Dant.. I struggle with this as well. And I have gotten better with Jesus's help, but its a ongoing fight. Prayer with Practice makes it a little easier with continuing effort. Never give up and never surrender. Jesus is Fact, not just Faith now for me. And want Him closer as I improve as the fruits bear, and I am experiencing more Joys in Him.
I will keep you in 🙏. Don't lose hope. Remember our Lord Jesus 😇 is always there for you. Read his Word or go find some Worship Songs. Everytime the going gets tuff. Also you can always talk to Jesus like you would talk to anyone else. That's what I do. I'm always including the Lord with everything I do. God Bless You 😇🕊️🦋 🌹. Happy New Year

Five years from deliverance a small amount of temptation but I now am free ~ temptations but slight & few. Not bragging. Struggled~
Alcohol is gone from me. I struggle hard at times & Father walks me through.

Dant Edwards it’s very difficult to be a Christian. More so than a rebel. Actually today’s standards dictate that being a Christ follower is a somewhat rebellion of the world. Hallelujah keep thanking the Lord daily several times a day and He will help.
Your gonna sin, ask God for forgiveness right away; get to the cross right away. Your forgiven instantly. That's His grace undeserved. We've been forgiven so much. Don't grieve God. He loves us so much.
Amen brother! So many people don't understand what a loving, forgiving Father we have. Jesus always understands our weakness in the flesh and just wants is to acknowledge it, repent and move forward. Anything we ask for forgiveness for is granted.
What a necessary and beautiful way to illustrate this subject which most try to shy or fully ignore, in the church where it needs to be most urgently heard and talked about to bring healing and proper understanding of sex and urges.

I have victory, praise God. I thought I would never been able to stop pornography in my lifetime, it wasn't immediately removed, but through prayer and applying Gods word I have victory amazing,,God is great
One needs no pornography, when he lives near a beach resort. There is plenty of stimuli to make man's eyes and the mind wander all over the place...

Pastor JD, I know exactly how you feel. When you have sinned, and the Lord in his love and grace, forgives you and encourages you and washes you clean in his blood, WANTS for you to succeed. He forgives you. Try again. You would do anything to make him happy and proud by not sinning again..You don't want to sin, not b/c you are afraid of him, but b/c you love him and want to obey him. So you try harder! It is all built out of love!!!

Are you memorizing scripture and using it against temptation as the bible advises? Ephesians 6 calls the word the "sword of the spirit". It's a Christians offensive weapon and needs to be used whenever temptation comes to you

in other words, a whole life = a wholly Spirit life.
When temptation presents itself, yield right of way to The Holy Spirit,
thus avoiding destructive collisions that crash and burn.

Remember the cross. That's where the battle was won. Jesus defeated sin there forever. Don't depend on willpower, you will fail. Everytime you are tempted, ask Jesus for HIS victory. Colossians 2:14-15

I am sick and tired of being driven by a natural chemical running through my blood that is equivalent to an opioid addiction, yet with no legitimate means of relief available, and women saying no to marriage at an alarming rate. we grieve the Holy spirit as to ourselves Romans 8 v 16. some cant help it depending each individual of the degree of suffering in this area he convicts and gives us a way out but to carry this is to much to bear yet Christ carried The cross and our sins so that by grace we would not have to, the Holy spirit enables and is of grace correctly dividing the word of truth under grace and mercy. Romans 7 we can help it but we cant ,but Romans 8 is the point we come to no more condemnation it is a process for some back and forth at times ,i am 57 never married have struggled with sexual sin all my life
Sin is not imputed where there is no law.
I'm listening to you talk about sexual sin and reading HIS Word and you are apologizing. Then you say... wait, it gets worse, ok. you don't have to apologize for THE Lord and/or HIS Standard. Holiness is best for us.
Just as i was watching this video my husband was moving out of our bedroom because he said i was not there for his intimate need ,
It's extremely important that you look after your husband. If you don't he may look elsewhere for his intimate need to be met - pornography/another woman or women/whatever. Spousal neglect can be cruel, husband and/or wife. I pray that the two of you look after each other, and Rosa, get with your husband and geep getting with him!

Why is it so hard to teach overcoming sexual sin? Our Father tells us to overcome sexual sin!... There is no sin in heaven! Learn to control your own body, our body is a temple, treat it like one! Ask our Father daily to guide you down the right path!!

Pray a daily rosary will break any type of vice in your life
You need to pray and repent from sin and receive Jesus Christ as your OWN personal Saviour FIRST......THEN the Holy Spirit will indwell you and give you victory as you bring any sin or temptation before Him.
The rosary has NO power. It's worthless.
