I cringed when I saw the piece and I knew what was coming. I asked myself, as a lover of old furniture, will I buy it and put it in my home? No. So I watched the vid to see Kacha’s magic happen. If I could afford it, that piece will be in my house, but at least I got the technique down and have the perfect piece for it. Way to go Kasha! Beautifully executed!

Your work with it makes it a more interesting piece that fits to a more modern homes. Painitng good furniture upsets people but in this case you made it beautiful. I was not a fan of the old wood color. I would have passed it up in a shop. Now I would stop and admire it wishing it was mine. Great work. 💙

No, your work looks like something out of an old English Castle, not a "Disney Movie"!!!! And I LOVE this piece!!!! Personally, I would have trimmed it in Silver, and used a Silver Transfer, but that's me.

Katha, I also.use the dry brushing technique for most of my projects. Its forgiving and enables me to be able to bring out the character of the piece. I.have not yet however, given into gold guilding.but my latest piece may j7st get it before finished. Thank you for your years of artistry and teaching. I have been a faithful student.
