I use to read a lot but after my husband passed in 2014 I may have read 2 books. I just read can’t get into it anymore no matter what I do. But this past year.. my kids introduced me to the UA-cam world and showed me that I can search anything and find a video on how to do things. Lol I’m only 40 years old. How did I not discover this before now🤦♀️ my point is that… since this UA-cam diy community… me and dollar tree and crafting along with UA-cam of course… we are best friends now lol

Im going with Kacha’s style! I’ve been seeing other UA-camrs who flips furniture and hands down you’re the most inspiring! I’m looking to start this biz on the side but I don’t like the spray painting like other people do. You even use your fingers to paint! You’re an artist alright!! I’m tired or West Elm style. That piece turned out so beautifully that I’m just amazed. You always have a vision that turns into something special. The raised stencil was perfect. I love that buffet. You did a fantastic job.
I’m sure your idea is in the right place but for the life of me I don’t understand why you would cover up a brown piece of furniture only to color it brown again. In my mind there are certain pieces that definitely need to be covered up with paint but this was not one of them. There is gonna be a day when people that buy this type of furniture will go back and strip all that paint off back to its original form. I’m not trying to offend you or anything but it’s just my opinion. That buffet was incredible and its original form.
I agree here. It made me sad to see that beautiful wood figure get painted over, I almost had to turn away. The original craftsman would be rolling in his grave if he saw this piece now. I'm not saying there's nobody that will buy this style, but to cover that gorgeous wood with paint was too much for me. As a maker of furniture myself, it would make me very sad to see this happen to anything I put my love and passion into.

I have had pieces on Etsy for weeks without even a view and they don’t show up when I do a search it’s so disheartening. I am sure shipping would be a great help but I have no idea how to ship large pieces of furniture without them getting damaged or costing a fortune. Your help would be amazing 😘

You are so skilled at not moving your stencil. That's my favorite and most used stencil also. I can't seem to find MM glass bead in large container like you have, not even on their website. I have the matte paste also and waiting to use it. I love Re-design with Prima papers, so easy to work with. Beautiful make over!
It has been discontinued but I still have some left. I left the link to the golden brand one!

Your artistic talents never cease to amaze me! It is two a.m. and I can’t stop thinking about the transformation of this beyond-gorgeous buffet. Years ago I used Venetian Plaster (Valspar) to create a raised stencil effect and was happy with the results at the time; however, it is not even close to being in the same league as what you created. Truly breath-taking! Thank you, Kacha, for your courage in trying new products and inventive techniques. You are a beautiful inspiration.

I really like the subtle sheen and color of the metalic paint you used. I think I prefer it to the bright gold...very soft and feminine. I wonder do you ever use silver for a more contemporary touch? Great piece. Someone got a beauty for sure!

My least favorite color. It reminds me of how my grandmother dumped all the paint she had into one bucket and painted all the cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom. I'd love this in a different color but, for me, this is a no.
