This post will be old news by now, but the stabilzation between the 2 systems is actually the same, the new version of the firmware, just eliminates that occassional spike you get on the rs2 which is where they get the 20%. Since I fly a c70 on mine I feel that spike all the time and just learned to account for it with my movements and settings, it's nice they're addressing it here with the rs3 pro - though I expect sometime in a few months there will be an update to the rs2 that will more of less do the same, since they didn't actually put in new hardware for the motors. All that said I'm still upgrading for a number of other reasons, not the least of which is the extended arm that will better work with the c70 and other larger bodies. I've made it work until now with the rs2 but have always felt the size of my typical setup - not the weight - has been an issue in the past.
I'm literally right there with you! I fly the R3 and used to fly the 1DX2 and 3 on it. Leaning towards the heavier end of the payload and I feel like the extended arm is going to help so much haha.

I was interested in the RS3, but considering that I want the Raven Eye as well, I'm going for the RS2 combo pack, as it's about $100.00 more than the RS3 alone and way cheaper than the RS3 and RS3 pro combo packs.
RS2 is still really good!
Are you sure the Rs3 and RS3 Pro are the same other than what comes with it? I believe they are very different. Check out the payload for example.

I don’t even have my Sony FX6 yet and I’m still buying it. Just going to put my iPhone 13 Pro Max on it with a mic. 😅😂 This will be my first DJI gimbal anyway. Might as well get it.

I crammed my 6K pro onto a RSC 2. One can definitely solve many of the mysteries that belong to motorized stabilizers. Then I bought a Pro Combo. I think they made this for the 6K pro...

If you can sell yours for like $800 I would say go for it! Otherwise its probably not worth an upgrade until the RS4

...and you still CAN"T replace battery so if it go dead your RS2/RS3 is dead as well. Bravo DJI!!!!!

Nah... i'll just stick to my RS2 for now. Just wait till there's a RS4 in the future and that should be a BiG leap.
