Japan Vlog 6: Lots of Street Food & Best Ramen EVER

- Hello friends! This is our 6th travel vlog and this time, we stopped by Osaka for the day! This vlog is basically a food vlog because we are almost eating in every minute of this video. We got to eat for hours walking down Dotonburi street in Osaka and do some cheap shopping on Shinsaibashi street. Our next vlog will be us back in Tokyo~

Oh, that's the only ramen I eat when I'm in Japan. There's one in the U.S. in New York. I believe it's the only one in the states. They need to bring one to Los Angeles! Keep the videos coming and safe travels!
I asked my native Japanese friend whether Ichiran is considered really good ramen and she said yes. Surprised me cause its a huge chain you know? Super awesome. And yes, I saw that the other day, its in Brooklyn or something! They need to open one in at least every major city. You should open one! Hahaha

I had the same expression like you did when I first tasted Ichiran Ramen in HKG (they opened few shops in HKG). I'm going to Japan on January and I'm so excited to taste it again. I heard rumors that the one in Japan is even better than HKG. So excited !!!
Hahaha I am so glad you shared the same feeling as you slurped the precious ramen noodles. I miss it so much. Nothing in the states can compare to this meal I had in Japan...

Good work fitting lots of food in! Osaka and Kyoto have some great things to try. We've just left Japan and thought Ichiran was great also! However we found another ramen in Osaka that was totally life changing and was by far the best we've ever had. It was a dish we'd totally travel back to Osaka just to eat again! Man we miss Japanese food! Cheers! - Thomas

What ramen flavor did you get? It looks delicious!
LSDWI It was tonkatsu. The great thing about this place is that you can tailor your ramen. So soft or firm noodles, rich or low oil/fat, etc. IT WAS AMAZING. We have to go back. Ramen will never be the same to us unless it's from Japan.

Mike D Lol! You're pointing out my false assumptions but not telling me what it actually is- which is always more helpful. I know the "clam shells" were actually scallops cause that's what we found out after purchasing it haha. The rice krispies though, I have no idea what they are but it was similar and delicious. Do you know what they are?
