i was born and raised in milpitas, moved away right before middle school. i love the mix of older businesses and newer businesses - really makes me miss south bay!! i remember eating a half a lee’s sandwich (with ham, headcheese, and pate, of course) when my mom was too tired to cook, because vietnamese sandwiches were soooo cheap. on a recent trip back, i discovered clover’s strawberry sandwich - super super tasty. i would recommend the next time you go!
