While this a very nice video with some important tips and a very clear "how to" you missed a very important aspect related to the purchasing agents. To start of the prices you can get depend on 2 factors : 1-the agent skill level, never use an agent that's not at 100% skill you'll waste tons of money. 2-The market price variation Prices change daily, sometimes by a large amount, Expensive jewelry I've seen going from 500 to 1000 piece, it's a 50% variation nothing to scoff at. However once you've signed a contract the prices are fixed to what was agreed upon the day it was agreed upon. This means that you should check daily for every one of the import companies if some of the prices haven't gone down overnight. And note that I say SOME of the prices, because they don't all change in a similar way at the same time, some will raise others will lower. You can of course start with a single agent per import company and still benefit from a huge price advantage over the wholesaler. You can even play the whole game without bothering more than that specially at easier difficulty levels. But to maximize profit you'll want to aim for a purchasing agent for every single item in the game plus an extra "free" one that's available to take a new contract and allow you to see the new prices. This free agent is needed because you have no way of checking the daily prices at the import companies without creating a new contract. This reinforces the need for all agents to be at 100% skill otherwise you won't be able to properly compare prices. Also another thing to take into account is that, as you pointed out, when you move an agent from a desk to another be it in the same building or to another headquarter building they lose their contracts. This means that you cannot easily (or at all) move the purchasing agents and you should plan on keeping your initial headquarters building with all agents that are linked to a contract in it. You can always have secondary headquarters with more agents and you can move all other employees (HR and logistics agents) without any issue to make more room. Also some small details you forgot to mention ; you said that the skill of the logistics agent and the size of the vehicle changes the number of locations that can be delivered to but you forgot to give exact numbers : For a 100% logistics agent -SUV delivers to 4 shops -Truck delivers to 8 shops There are 2 different types of warehouses, one that has a single vehicle slot and another with 2 so at best you can deliver to 16 shops from a single warehouse. You can use the delivery trucks during the day without preventing deliveries to happen as long as they're parked in the warehouse slot at midnight. You can place pallets in front of the warehouse bay doors this will not block the automated deliveries, it'll only prevent you to drive the vehicle out of the warehouse. You can deliver from warehouse to warehouse, so you could have the bulk of the paper bags delivered to one warehouse and just ne amount needed transferred to another warehouse , and same with any other item but you can also use this method if you wanted to move warehouses for example. The amount of items that you program in your logistics tab are a target not an amount. Meaning if you ask for your driver to bring 5000 paper bags to a shop but this shop still has 4000 in stock INCLUDING the bags that are in the cash register then the driver will only bring 1000 to that shop. On the other hand when you buy from the import companies things a re a bit more complicated If you buy with the option of a single delivery you'll buy the exact quantity that you asked for. You asked for 5000 paper bags you'll get 5000 paper bags If you buy with the option of a recurring delivery (every 1 or 3 or 7 days) then it works like it would for a shop delivery meaning the amount you ask for is a target. An example : Step 1 You create a contract with jet cargo the only import that sells paper bags. Step 2 On that contract you try to create an order for 5000 paper bags, this amounts to less than 2500 dollars so the order doesn't go through at all. On that contract you try to crate an order for 500 000 paper bags, this amounts to much more, than the required 2500 dollars so the order goes through Step 3 If you choose the option to deliver one time then you'll get 500 000 paper bags at midnight If you choose the option to deliver every 1 day then every day the import will check how many bags you still have in stock, calculate how many are missing to reach 500 000 and if the amount required amounts to more than 2500 dollars then it'll send it to you. Otherwise while the contract is not cancelled you won't get any extra bags that day or the next ones until the amount of bags to be sent amounts for 2500 dollars or more. This works the same for deliveries every 3 or 7 days except that the conditions are only checked every 3 or 7 days instead of daily and you might find yourself short of paper bags before the next check is done. I honestly don't recommend the bigger intervals unless you're very tight on money. And finally if you lack pallets in your warehouse to stock all the items that are supposed to be delivered from the import companies, you'll get a call from them letting you know the delivery failed and which items were not delivered amongst the ones requested. Deliveries from your warehouse to one of your shops is more tricky though, the stock that is shown in the shop inventory tab includes the items that are on display in the shop as well as the ones still in the storeroom. However your delivery driver will not place any items in the displays, he'll just put them ont he storage shelves and only then will they go in the empty displays. So if you don't have enough storage shelves to stock all of the boxes that will be delivered, no matter if all your displays are empty and have a lot of room available, then the delivery will fail, some items won't be delivered but you won't get any error message to let you know of the issue. It took me a while to learn all this but it completely changed the way I play and I hope this can help you and others.

Hi James! You do need to hire purchasing agents, they are your employee, they just talk to the importer for you. Once you hire and setup the PA at a desk, go to your desired importer and assign them. Once a PA has been assigned to the importer, you don't actually need to bother with the importers again unless setting up new PA's. You buy goods through the PA via BizMan --> Headquarters --> Purchasing Agent
