The idea of your uncle loaning you $10k, a pretty significant sum of money, to get you started in his footsteps as a business mogul, but you just immediately go hibernate on a bench until a casino boat shows up, and come out of it with more money than your uncle.. that's absolutely hilarious.
However, games with gambling have had anti-scum methods for years. New Vegas would have a cooldown and shut off the casino games after a reload. Not that you needed it with a high luck build. Even then, the casinos will just kick you out if you win too much.
Pro gamble tips: You should take max loans before boarding ship. Secondly, just exit game if you lose. Don't go to main menu. The game loads quicker than the time it takes to "unload". To be fair, our character needs only 8$ per day to be alive, and a sleeping place that just so happens to come in the form of a free car the uncle gives.
I started playing because of a RCE video. Quite like the game. I managed to monopolize on being the only clothes seller. It gets me about 30-50k every day if I manage to keep it stocked lol. Didnt know there was a gambling barge. Nice what I am learning about the game lol. Loved the video like always :D
Now all those other streamers are re-thinking their life choices. They are thinking, "Wow, I was sitting here working my tail off for 10K and Spiff just slept his way to 500 Million."
20:30 I'll have you know that at day 40, earning 3 million per day is very doable. On my main save, I earned 100 million in the first 60 days (on day 60 you get the tax bill so you always have the documentation of your overall gains at that point). It's easy to get even more, but tedious and not really necessary. But 150k is easy from day 8 onwards. In fact a single solid shop that you can set up around that time will get you 300k per day.
While this is a hilarious method to exploit this game, it actually isn't very hard to make 200k-500k per day with normal gameplay. Sadly, the issue is that you are comparing the profits of Streamers which have a bad habit of not reading and therefore sucking at the games they play lol. The biggest mistake I have seen people make is that they listen to their uncle and expand to a fast-food business (the worst business to make money with) WAY too soon. If you instead collapse that objective menu for a while and expand your gift shop to it's maximum potential, you can easily get 20k per day with that business alone. Use that to save up the capital to get an HQ and warehouse and get importing and deliveries setup. Then onto a clothing store in the rich district to multiply your income by ten-fold. But I digress, I do love watching you break games.
Moral of the story : gambling is completely fine so long as you have complete control over the laws of time and can start savescumming until you’re rich.
Ah, Sipps. I remember him from back when he destroyed a Minecraft server with redmatter during the Yogcast days (or specifically, when they still did Minecraft stuff)
Spif, you can definitely make over 150k per day off businesses by day 41 legitimately. In my current save I’m at $450-750k per day at day 40. That depends on the day of the week because the trick is opening clothing stores. They’re ridiculously profitable. Especially on the weekends when they make the 750k. And if you think that’s just because I must have tons of stores and spent so much time making them, no. That’s just with 2 stores. 75 capacity stores in midtown.

If you walked into a casino with 5k, and left with 53m, you wouldn't be walking out. Rolled out on a stretcher after you got the 'VIP' treatment is more like it.
So, because of the "it's not real money" nature of the game, you could also do this by doing the "Bet how much you've lost + how much you want to win" cycles over and over. Eg.: Bet $500. Loose, fine, whatever. Bet $1000, 500 loss + 500 hope to gain. Loose, whatever. Bed $2000. 1500 loss + 500 hope to gain. Repeat until win, restart cycle. As long as you have enough capital, your chances of going totally bust are super low

Incredible, I was looking forward to Spiff exploiting this glorious game!
Interesting how people who owns shares, even if they are estranged parents - will come back to haunt you if you make it in life. Lesson kids, don’t buy shares.
If you walked into a casino with 5k, and left with 53m, you wouldn't be walking out. Rolled out on a stretcher after you got the 'VIP' treatment is more like it.
They have fixed this now
You can go back to that version of the game an do it then go back to the current version 😁
Love how spiff always just casually drops redpills the entire video
So, because of the "it's not real money" nature of the game, you could also do this by doing the "Bet how much you've lost + how much you want to win" cycles over and over. Eg.: Bet $500. Loose, fine, whatever. Bet $1000, 500 loss + 500 hope to gain. Loose, whatever. Bed $2000. 1500 loss + 500 hope to gain. Repeat until win, restart cycle. As long as you have enough capital, your chances of going totally bust are super low
The shade you threw at everyone pleases me.
unfortunately, you failed. The game clearly says its the 6th day.
I want to see Spiff break the new Chaos Dwarves in Total War, they are all about "unpaid interns" and turning everywhere into industrial revolution London.
Ngl, as exploits go, save-scumming is kinda disappointing.
Easy fix too. Just disable saving on the gambling boat. Could still get off and save, but that should be tedious enough to dissuade most people.
