Hi Colt, just wanted to let you know that the people you see queuing the stores are just for visuals. the building cap is a hard sealing, no matter how many people you see physically in the store
@@Colt2020 You lose a lot of money that way. Even with 2 registers you aren't doing nearly 30/40 whatever amount of people an hour. The Devs said it'll be fixed with the next update (beta 10?) but if you aren't actively doing something in your shop they recommend staying outside for now.
About 23:00 have a hint for you :) Open the interior manager ... then right-click the cash-register = Now you can customize the waiting-line for this specific cash-register. The blue ball which u can set means the start & end of the waiting line. A customer will first goto the blue ball and then join the waiting-snake. You can buy personal-barriers, to increase the length of the waiting-snake. This is at least neccessary for small shops. If the blue ball is blocked by an other customer, so if the wait-snake is full, the customer will say: "i could not find a cash register" and leave without buying ... customer = lost. *Thumbs up.* Beside of that you can right-click furnitures to change it's colors, in that interior-mode :)
The devs have stated this is a bug. if you aren't actively doing something in your store they recommend staying out of it, if you HAVE to actively work the shift, the devs recommend skipping time, not fast forwarding, but skipping completely. You will always lose money while you are standing in your business. should be fixed in Beta 10.
The part about energy dropping is crucial, and it drops TWICE AS FAST when you haven't eaten, so keep both balanced. For a small but instant boost on energy DRINK A SODA or A COFFEE BEFORE you eat anything, then add the food to fill your hunger level. If you eat first, you are sometimes too full to consume the drink so it gets wasted and you still have no energy, so DRINK FIRST.
Easiest way is to borrow a hand cart from a store, place your bag on that, and it transfers easily on to your shelf as the bag magically becomes a standard box. Best way is to buy a fridge for 1800 and it goes straight into that.
If you wanna finish the $10,000 on gas achievement, you can go to the gas station with a Freight truck and stock up on jerry cans and sell it back, repeat.
Total game changer! Thanks so much for the tip. If you dont mind I will add this to a future tips and tricks video! Made it super easy to get the achievement
Really good tips here, thank you! The training tip is a game changer, I was sure if they get better you have to pay more (like IRL). I still wonder: 1) Are there any drawbacks when I hire employees but don't give them a job? (I only pay when they are at work right?) 2) You took the burger business as a bad profit example (if I understood correctly), I have the same problem, demand is at 90+% and I have many customers, but a very low profit. About 300 $ for the burger shop and 5000 $ for the gift shop (small shops both). Don't know why...
yeah my burger joint has always been a bad profit but I keep it anyhow just to have it if I ever decide to change it in the future. As for the drawbacks to employees... yes if you keep them but dont use them their satisfaction rating will drop by approximately 2% per day until they finally want to quit unless you actively employ them... but... with that being said you dont actively pay them UNLESS they are actively employed. I normally like to hire and train a bunch before opening up a new store.
@@Colt2020 Tested some price changes (watched their reactions after price raises). Since Donut is at 96% and I am the only one who sells it, I was able to raise my price up to 19 $ 😂. At 20 $ they started complaining...
@@Rick_Jagger hahahaha nice! On my discord I have shared a "Cheat Sheet" with all of the prices you can set before the customers started complaining. Its different per district. Cheat Sheet Complimentary from the devs themselves
@@Rick_Jagger yes it does. The cheat sheet is just a broad spectrum baseline for prices. So there will be times where the prices will fluctuate but overall customers should be happy a majority of the time
For now some of the best stores for making a ton of money is clothing stores. Just make sure to buy wholesale from an importer down at the piers to maximize your profits. One of my larger clothing stores is making 1M+ daily now. I also have the cheat sheet posted on my discord courtesy of the devs to show you the best prices to sell your goods at to make the most profit.
How do a train the employees? Every time I press the button, it says the shouldn't be assigned in the store... But they aren't... I don't get, pls help
I would double check by clicking on the employee and making sure that on the left hand side they aren’t assigned to a store. You will see it below where you set their uniform. If that doesn’t work you can also click on the box on the left hand side of the employee and use the drop down box at the top of the employee list and select “train primary skill”. That usually forces them out of a store if they are assigned to one. I will be streaming this later today and will be available on my discord if you are still having problems
its a combination of having the casino money and not learning about the Tuesday tax a whee bit too late. lol. I was holding onto all of my money instead of investing it and the tax kept hitting me and reducing my overall net worth. I have since fixed this on my playthrough.
For those I try to set them to Thursday thru Sunday with a max of 7 hours per day. Should give them a schedule of 28 hours which puts them under the 30 hour max for part time. As long as it’s over 20 hours and under 30 then it will be a part time employee
Hours are set. Part time is 10-30 hours per week, preferring 4 days a week. Full time is 30-50 hours preferring 5 days. The amount of days doesn't have an effect unless its a personality requirement.
Dude, you have 13 businesses and real states with an income of only $88,000? You don't need that many businesses! I have only 4 businesses with a daily income (profit) of $400,000.
A lot of those stores were rented but I hadn’t actually started a business in them yet. It was moreover reserving the space to prevent another business from moving in
The casino trick was mainly just for the people that didn’t have the time to sit around and have the casual experience like some of us have the time to do. For example people with children or working multiple jobs.

actually if you're in the business looking at the animations, those count. If you're not in the store you're good with just 1 cash register

Are you considering making a tutorial video series, from the start of the game?

Makes sense how you have over $1B at day 140 with just 70k in daily income 😂
I read cassino cash does not help with your networth so keep that in mind
It does once you convert it to stores, equipment and stock (like money laundering really)

oh shoot my bad... I thought it was 70 cause it definitely feels faster than the van
