Patrick can actually work as antagonist and there are some cases were it does work such as in "Suds" how he was harming Spongebob yet he did it for good intentions and even in that case he got what he deserved in the end.
True Patrick may have been the antagonist in "I'm With Stupid" yet I don't think I'd call him a jerk he was actually pretty nice to Spongebob in the beginning but keep I'm mind Spongebob was the one who offered to be the dummy Patrick was literally so stupid that as the episode went on he actually believed that he was smarter than Spongebob
The ending to Suds was hilarious. He gets covered in dish detergent, rubbed across a cactus, and used to clean a toilet. And he yells "THIS DOESN'T SEEM RIGHT!!"
I like Patrick the best as an antagonist in "The Fry Cook Games". I love how he just wants to compete at first but his teasing with Spongebob pushes them to be rivals in the competition.
I can take a stab at the answer before watching the video. Basically he is not a good antagonist when his antagonism hinges upon his sheer stupidity or selfishness, Pet Sitter Pat, Stuck in the Wringer, Yours Mine and Mine etc. Patrick's stupidity is only good in doses, it is not strong enough to carry an episode. We've seen time and time again with episodes hinging on his stupidity get annoying VERY quickly. Same applies for him being a jerk especially when he's rarely if ever called out for being a jackass. He makes a good antagonist when they actually go to his more vulnerable and insecure side. Like Big Pink Loser, where his actions are based upon he's jealous of Spongebob who seems way more driven and accomplished than he is. That also comes into play in the Fry Cook Games. Those episodes actually add a bit more depth to him.
SpongeBob has even been an antagonist several times. Choir Boys he was basically set up as the antagonist, and in a way he was an antagonist in The Donut of Shame.
I forget the name of the episode but the one where spongebob refuses to go outside just off the top of my head is one where I enjoyed Patrick's stupidity. It was just fun to watch sandy's growing frustration with Parick "help".
I have a suggestion for a square theory, how about Why Do writers always stick to the same theme of each character and not changing them. What I mean by that is... -SpongeBob being naive -Patrick being stupid -Squidward getting tortured - Mr Krabs being obsessed with money - Plankton obsessed with stealing the secret formula etc...
Here's Patrick's problem: he has some sort of weird immunity to logic, reason, or morality. There's a difference between being stupid, and being flat out flanderized beyond belief.
My favorite Patrick antagonist episodes are snowball effect, Patrickman, the golfing episode, The one where he frees man ray, dumped, and that one episode where they tried to spy on plankton.
@Hannah Papernick-Yudin yeah, nobody ever talks about that episode, but at least it doesn’t get unnecessary hate, either, so that’s something. Also, about the golfing episode, I’m not so sure why I liked that one. I don’t hate that episode, but while it started out funny and regular enough, it got to be really stupid, and not in that funny childish way you would expect from SpongeBob, but in the Brain destroying childish way parents would stereotype the show as back in its heyday.
Very good theory! Sometimes Patrick works as an antagonist (Sand Castles in the Sand, for example) and other times he doesn't (Yours, Mine, and Mine, and The Card).
Nice. Are there any episodes where SpongeBob himself is the antagonist? Also, when are the suicide and Choir Boys vs. That Sinking Feeling Square Theories?
+PIEGUYRULZ I should have known that. I feel like Patrick may have asked that one for me.' Anyway, since you've done a Square Theory on every other main character, why not do one on Plankton?
Gary is too lazy to take a bath. In fact, the episode 'Gary takes a Bath' is shorter than previous Spongebob episodes in Season 2.The episodes have a short run-time: Six-in-a-half minutes instead of eleven minutes.
there's a newer episode about mr. krabs being a pirate and patrick is an antagonist; I really liked that one. As for my least favourite...the card, probably.
Patrick can be straight up malicious in some episodes. He almost goes out of his way to do something ridiculous or hurtful at times, which comes off as less of a stupid selfish bully being a jerk for laughs, and more of a true hostile antagonist trying to undermine the main character...
Patrick worked perfectly as an antagonist in "No Nose Knows" when he was acting like a snobby jerk to everyone about their smells and eventually got his karma and was even seen as a jerk by everyone who was affected by Patrick's snobbiness.
My least favorite pre-movie (first movie) episode is "Dumped" because of how cruel and antagonistic Patrick is. People usually like to scrutinize and declare "I'm With Stupid" and "The Big Snail Race" as the worst pre-movie SpongeBob episodes, but I have legitimate rebuttals as to why those episodes work. However, nobody ever talks about "Dumped" and how cruel and malicious it is. It is by far the worst episode in early SpongeBob. It's probably the precursor to the "Patrick's-A-Prick" archetype that was soon established later in the series. In "Dumped", Patrick literally steals SpongeBob's beloved pet and proceeds to act smug, entitled, and overall apathetic to SpongeBob's plight. How can Patrick just vacantly stare disapprovingly at SpongeBob as he breaks down and begs for Gary to come home? It's not the worst episode in the series and it's a piece of art compared to the other antagonistic "Patrick's-A-Prick" episodes that would come in later seasons, but it is the episode I hated the most as a child and it is an episode that many people fail to acknowledge when the subject of bad pre-movie episodes is brought up.
One thing I've noticed in the bad Patrick and taking this episode is that he doesn't really get punishment either. A lot of type cases each gets away Scott free in the end.
Patrick can be good antagonist when him and spongebob get too caught up in a game like in Castles in the Sand where two weren't being cruel each other they both just wanted to win. But one of worst example is in Your Mine and Mine where Patrick isn't only a jerk but a stupid spoil child and the ending truly pissed me off because after spongebob buys a toy he says he'll " share " with Patrick not only that Patrick purposely keeps the toy away from spongebob but he also destroys when he gets cornered. And on top of that when Mr. Krabs makes more toys Patrick offers to buy them with SpongeBob's money and got the nerve to ask him " Have you learned nothing about sharing? "
Laurie Bannister This is one of the view times where I disagree with Pieguyrulz's opinion about a Spongebob episode, I respect his opinion, but I unfortunately hate this episode.
Here’s a list of episodes in which Patrick was being a jerk to Spongebob. Yours, Mine, and Mine The Splinter To Squarepants Or Not To Squarepants Spongehenge Whatever Happened To Spongebob? Stuck In The Wringer Once Bitten Big Sister Sam (which features his weird and monstrous sister) Royal Of Dumb I’m With Stupid Life In Crime (because he is stupid)
Dalibor Jovanovic Not the point, the point is he's still inaccurate on his view of the episode. He's so focused on "Squidward being tormented" that he keeps overlooking where SpongeBob & Patrick realized they screwed up and they actually did something to make it right. You people seem to overlook it too.
You`re the one missing the point here dude, he`s focused on Squidward being tortured so much because that`s the main point of episode like Good Neigbours where it`s handeled poorly resulting in the episode being unfunny and obnoxious, also what the hell are you talking about SpongeBob & Patrick realized they screwed up and they actually did something to make it right? They only did that in Enchanced Tiki Dream and Good Neigbours, in most other episodes they never realize it, let alone try to make up. Please stop talking nonsense.
If Patrick is the antagonist of the episode, he should be fully aware of his actions. If he just causes trouble because of his stupidity and nothing else, then it doesn't really work, it just makes him come off as an uncaring dolt.
I believe that at the beginning you skipped over Squidward's antagonistic roles. They include but are not limited to episodes like Squidward the Unfriendly Ghost, Naughty Nautical Neighbors, Reef Blower, Home Sweet Pineapple, Bubble Buddy, and a more recent one Sportz!
Another word for Patrick being stupid is sociopath like in the card, stuck in the wringer, restraining spongebob and yours mine and mine those episodes are when it doesn't work
See, I think that the better episodes where Patrick is the antagonist are the ones where Patrick acts virtually nothing like his typical personality. For example, in Patrick Smartpants, due to his head falling off and SpongeBob accidentally replacing it with brain coral, Patrick becomes a genius and therefore better than everyone he knows. That is the polar opposite of how his character is typically portrayed and it makes sense in an episode such as this that he would be a complete jerk to everyone and go so far as to tell SpongeBob that he no longer wants to be his friend. The other episode that works, but to a lesser degree is the one where Patrick finds out he is related to royalty and gets an over inflated ego and becomes a horrible pseudo king/prince or whatever. That episode works a bit because he is not the typical Patrick we know and are mostly annoyed by due to his inane stupidity. The ones where they don't work as well are the ones where he is naturally good at something SpongeBob has taken years to perfect or accomplish and rubs his success in his friend's face. Two good examples of those episodes are the one where Patrick gets his license and the one where he can execute a perfect karate chop on virtually anything every single time. Both of those things are something SpongeBob has spent practically a lifetime trying to accomplish and cannot and therefore gets jealous that Patrick can do them without even think about it. Patrick's jerkiness in those episodes stems not so much from a virtual change to either his personality or his status in life, but from the realization that someone may be stupider than him at certain things. Where these episodes go even further into scumbob territory is that other characters, especially SpongeBob tell him that he's being a jerk and he doesn't seem to stop or want to stop until it's too late. The other types of Patrick antagonist episodes that I do tend to like are those where in some way both he AND SpongeBob are the antagonist depending on the situation. Examples of these kids of episodes are Rock a by Bivalve, Sand Castles in the Sand, and Battle of Bikini Bottom. In all of those episodes Patrick and SpongeBob are continually fighting with one another. Both have very valid points as to why they are right, but one isn't all that much jerkier than the other. Battle of Bikini Bottom is borderline scumbob for me only because of the constant gross out close ups. So, to sum up, Patrick does much better as an antagonist when he is, 1. acting in a polar opposite manner personality wise to how he typically acts and 2. is spending most if not the entire episode fighting in some way with SpongeBob and SpongeBob is fight right back.
I feel like Squidward makes a better Jerk friend character to Spongebob Then Patrick The reason is that Squidward is arrogant and selfish,Thats his character so it works. Squidward is not only a jerk to Spongebob and Patrick But hes also a jerk to Mr Krabs and Gary. In Lost Mattress,Squidward takes credit for Spongebob and Patrick's idea to get Mr Krabs a new Mattress,He isn't doing this to make his boss happy he wants a reward and thats it. in I was a teenage gray,Squidward takes advantage of the fact that Spongebob is going out of town and pertins to Babysit Gary to get a break from him,He doesn't care about Gary. Also Squidward is show in episodes like Claws,Pressure and Pizza deliver,That he's more of a Arrogant friend that cares about Spongebob even thought he gets annoyed by him. With Patrick as a Jerk friend doesn't fit it because thats not his character at all,The best example of this is Yours Mine and Mine. Patrick is so unlikable jerky and it just goes overboard in this episode. Because the Writers since they don't have Hillenburg to run to the show,They have No derision with Patrick,They have to change Patrick character, they can't write for him at all.
Interesting theory and I think I agree, but I'm curious: Has there ever been a good example of SpongeBob being the antagonist? (And I mean on his own; Not with Patrick)
i saw that you put the episode where Patrick becomes a king as a scumbob episode, I would have put it as a meh episode and here is why, we have seen through out cartoons that sometimes whenever a character gets a position of power the power sometimes goes to there head, this has happened to garry before as well, we see this the best in the spongebob movie out of water where garry becomes king of the snails and betrays spongebob in a way, garry is a smart character so if that could happen to a smart character what do you think it will do to Patrick. also as you said Patrick is like a child and child can see things and in a way mimic them or adopt them in there traits or something like that, and with that there is evidence that both spongebob and Patrick reflect on each other like in one episode spongebob had done something stupid with the plastic thing that he go from his news paper, and after a few minutes we saw Patrick had done the same. so they both reflect on each other
Question: why have you been avoiding using 'mean-spirited' lately? Did people tell you you were using it too much? Cause we know what you're thinking even if you don't use the actual word...lol
I have an idea. You know how when theres the my leg gag and you put a broken leg in the corner?? Well, why not do the same with Patrick's a jerk?? You see, every time Patrick's a jerk you can put up that picture at 4:05.
Can you do an spongey bits on some of the most forgettable episodes like the masterpiece and bucket sweet bucket. Or a square theory on why they're forgettable. And yes I'm the one who said sb129 is forgettable, it NEVER airs.
2 years later... In my country I never see pre-movie spongebob on TV. However, as of commenting this, I recently saw Sandy's Rocket on YTV. Hopefully they keep the season 1 episodes coming!
some episodes have other characters such as squidward in the role of the main protagonist. most "annoy squidward" episodes portray spongebob as the antagonist.
in my opinion,Patrick was always the antagonist. if it wasn't for him,Spongebob would never have gotten the job at the krusty krab and he didn't have to tolerate his stupid and greedy boss,Mr. Krabs. and Spongebob would also never met Sandy, the most bland and uninteresting character in the show.
I can't really explain it, but pre movie spongebob had a surreal type of vibe to it. I guess it carries certain things for me, like the characters' behaviour and the equally intentive plot. As time went by and the art changed, this feeling kind of just... disappeared. Were we too accustomed to the world by now, or did we need to see new settings? To be honest, I don't know. From what I have seen so far, season 9 has brought back some of that vibe, but requires a bit more editing to otherwise be good. (Keep in mind I haven't watched the newer episodes. My opinion will probably change). Post movie spongebob can be good, that I truthfully admit, but its lacking some of that magic that pre movie used to have. Its different somehow, like a soft reset. I think its because of the animation/voice change as well as the choice in music. I feel that if I put some of the dialogue into pre movie episodes, it would get back some of the magic, granted the lines are actually good. This is why (as I might had said before) Patrick as antagonist works for me in the older seasons, and the zany combination of things pushes the aspects for me. Anyone gotten the same feeling?
I know it's so sad. I always saw it as a future classic even before 2004. It's Nickelodeons fault they pushed it on. I actually heard Nick got a new Presidnt in 2002. The older President didn't let shows go so long where'd they become stale. Dumb new President.
Yeah I just watched the new episodes of season 10, and nothing's really improved. The episodes were very boring and were rehashes of older post movie episodes. The biggest change was with the facial reactions. They look too expressive and really gross. But overall it seems to be better than season 7 or 8.
Alex G yeah. I know right. I'm fine with the season 2-5 look, but now they look a bit too bright in Spongebob's case and overly detailed with random side characters. I guess they're trying to make the one off side characters more memorable by adding extra detail. It's really just kind of distracting.
To be honest, I couldn't stand Patrick in The Battle of Bikini Bottom. I guess that's sort of of personal thing b/c I can't stand it when people don't wash their hands. I guess I'm a little germaphobic in that way.
@John Reviews I don't get bothered by it in that episode but I do very much get bothered by when Squidward doesn't in Making Bikini Bottom Beautiful. As I'm a full on Germaphobe as well as having OCD.
it doesn't work in yours mines and mine cause there's no comedic slant to Patricks selfishness. it works in the battle of bikini bottom cause it's more relatable and more funny
Patrick can actually work as antagonist and there are some cases were it does work such as in "Suds" how he was harming Spongebob yet he did it for good intentions and even in that case he got what he deserved in the end.
Could we also list Patrick-Man as an example? Though in that episode, he's more of a misguided protagonist than an antagonist.
You know I used to dislike that episode but after looking at it again... It's preety much "Hall Monitor" so yeah I'd list it as well :)
@Ryab. Yup. Pat was just extra dumb. Wish ppl could understand this.
The ending to Suds was hilarious. He gets covered in dish detergent, rubbed across a cactus, and used to clean a toilet. And he yells "THIS DOESN'T SEEM RIGHT!!"
Patrick doesn't work as an antagonist. Not until 4.
AAA Battery genius joke
Took me a second to realize the joke.
He works well as an antagonist in Season 4 when he is imo
Only on Wednesdays
It works in episodes like Sand Castles in the Sand but it doesn't in others like Yours, Mine, and Mine.
"LOOK!LOOK! IT'S ME SPONGEBOB!"
"Nice try burglar but Spongebob is my best friend and he wouldn't steal from me!"
"MY NAME'S, NOT, RIIICCCKKK!!"
Sh-sh-shut up M-morty
+Daniel Romo "Aw jeez Rick..."
+Delaney skyequeen boooo
almost as classic as "Is this the Krusty Krab?" "No, this is Patrick."
"Is mayonnaise an instrument?"
I like Patrick the best as an antagonist in "The Fry Cook Games". I love how he just wants to compete at first but his teasing with Spongebob pushes them to be rivals in the competition.
Last time I was this early, Patrick thought mayonnaise was a instrument.
😂
Perfect comment. There's a difference between good and bad Patrick antagonist episodes.
Smartest comment I've ever seen
SpongeBob has even been an antagonist several times. Choir Boys he was basically set up as the antagonist, and in a way he was an antagonist in The Donut of Shame.
I forget the name of the episode but the one where spongebob refuses to go outside just off the top of my head is one where I enjoyed Patrick's stupidity. It was just fun to watch sandy's growing frustration with Parick "help".
Thank you
That's definitely Patrick's best appearance ever.
"Patrick don't you have to be stupid somewhere else?'
"not until four"
"Do it again I wasn't looking!"
"That Penny has the most beautiful voice..."
I have a suggestion for a square theory, how about Why Do writers always stick to the same theme of each character and not changing them. What I mean by that is...
-SpongeBob being naive
-Patrick being stupid
-Squidward getting tortured
- Mr Krabs being obsessed with money
- Plankton obsessed with stealing the secret formula
etc...
And Then there is a Episode like Smooth Jazz at Bikini Bottom where it does not even explain why Patrick is in the Plot and is the Antagonist.
_valentine's day is my favorite episode with Patrick as an antagonist_
I love that episode my second fave of season one actually as a whole
Great video. You really are the UA-camr with biggest Sponge knowledge.
Love your Back to the Future hat!
Nice. Are there any episodes where SpongeBob himself is the antagonist?
Also, when are the suicide and Choir Boys vs. That Sinking Feeling Square Theories?
Pick an episode that focuses on Squidward. More often than not SB is the antagonist.
And, they will be coming sometime in the next few weeks!
+PIEGUYRULZ I should have known that. I feel like Patrick may have asked that one for me.'
Anyway, since you've done a Square Theory on every other main character, why not do one on Plankton?
that one episode in which Spongebob tries to make Gary have a bath.
+ZombieBobSponge gary wasn't behaving. Spongebob was completly in the right.
Gary is too lazy to take a bath. In fact, the episode 'Gary takes a Bath' is shorter than previous Spongebob episodes in Season 2.The episodes have a short run-time: Six-in-a-half minutes instead of eleven minutes.

very well made video! i think my favorite episode where patrick works as an antagonist is the frycook games episode.
Pieguy...can I just say your eyebrows are majestic
Honestly Patrick is one of my impressions I can do his best antagonist as appearance is Nature Pants.
RyanX1231 Yeah, I saw it once when I was a child, and all I could think was: "WhAt the hEck?!?! You are supposed to be his best friend, you jerk!!!"
I hated dumped so much my least fave pre first movie episode as well probably
To me, a good episode with Patrick being the antagonist is "The Fry Cook Games".
Patrick doesn’t know anything about anything...sometimes I think Sandy is a better friend for Spongebob. How did Spongebob and Patrick even meet?
Simple answer: when he has good intentions and he's punished at the end.
I like Valentine's Day. HEART ON STICK MUST DIE!
I also like Professor Squidward because I think Squidward deserved it.
Same
my favorite Patrick antagonist episode was sandcastles in the sand
How about "Jerky Star"? A new name of the episode in the future.
nice hat back to the future 2 is the GOAT
One thing I've noticed in the bad Patrick and taking this episode is that he doesn't really get punishment either. A lot of type cases each gets away Scott free in the end.
Great work keep it up.
I agree with you. This was my feelings about Patrick too.
2:14 SpongeBob & Patrick DID get a punishment in Good Neighbors which was having to clean the city weekly.
It`s not a punishment, because they were happy about doing it.Did you honestly miss that?
Oh yeah, I forgot that. I haven't seen Good Neighbors in a while.
Cool this came out on my sisters birthday
What pisses me off more is how Mr. Krabs and Sandy talk about how both spongebob and patrick are in he wrong even though its only Patrick.
+Jay Sherard yeah that too especially since SpongeBob was in the right and had every reason to be annoyed with Patrick for being a selfish baby
Bad writing 101
Pieguy likes that episode
Laurie Bannister This is one of the view times where I disagree with Pieguyrulz's opinion about a Spongebob episode, I respect his opinion, but I unfortunately hate this episode.
In Food Con Castaways, Patrick is a greatly written antagonist.
Great video. Have you watched Loud House if so what's your opinion on it
Once you notice the Marty McFly hat, you can't not look at it.
you should make a series like bottom of the bakery but with spongebob episodes. so for an example you could pair up hooky and face freeze etc.
Wow Im early better make a joke

But does that make up for how unfunny and obnoxious the bulk of the episode is, I`d say nooooo.....
Dalibor Jovanovic Not the point, the point is he's still inaccurate on his view of the episode. +Dalibor Jovanovic I'm just talking about "Good Neighbors," no other episode. Stay with me here.
Spongebob and Patrick apologise in "Jellyfishing" too

New Student Starfish isn't a very good example.
If Patrick is the antagonist of the episode, he should be fully aware of his actions. If he just causes trouble because of his stupidity and nothing else, then it doesn't really work, it just makes him come off as an uncaring dolt.
Can you try a Square Theory on how you would fix A Pal for Gary? or That Sinking Feeling?
Is your Hat supposed to look like Marty's Hat from Back To the Future
Hmmm. I think it works when SpongeBob and Patrick are having an argument or there competing each other. :P

So, to sum up, Patrick does much better as an antagonist when he is, 1. acting in a polar opposite manner personality wise to how he typically acts and 2. is spending most if not the entire episode fighting in some way with SpongeBob and SpongeBob is fight right back.
PIEGUYRULZ have you seen the episode Mall Girl Pearl??? I just watched it and it's actually really good.
Just wondering if you might consider doing reviws off the Simpsons or do something with the Simpsons?
I love your shirt pieguy. :D
I feel like Squidward makes a better Jerk friend character to Spongebob Then Patrick
The reason is that Squidward is arrogant and selfish,Thats his character so it works. Squidward is not only a jerk to Spongebob
and Patrick But hes also a jerk to Mr Krabs and Gary.
Where did you get that hat?
So these type of videos are going to become more common now, guess I better start watch spongebob again.
3:11 mean spirited alert?
my favorite antagonist episode would be either life of crime or sand castles in the sand
In Pineapple Invasion, they use the my leg joke and the i went to college joke
I like him in Battle of Bikini Bottom a lot.
Me too
I want that poster.
Hey, Pieguy! Where'd you get that awesome SpongeBob/Space Cat T-Shirt?
Interesting theory and I think I agree, but I'm curious: Has there ever been a good example of SpongeBob being the antagonist? (And I mean on his own; Not with Patrick)
Gary takes a Bath maybe
+Brant Christy Ooh, that's a great example!
does Sleepy Time count? also Pranks a Lot, PieGuy doesn't think it's good but l do
Gary takes a bath?
Choir Boys and Boating Buddies.
i saw that you put the episode where Patrick becomes a king as a scumbob episode, I would have put it as a meh episode and here is why, we have seen through out cartoons that sometimes whenever a character gets a position of power the power sometimes goes to there head, this has happened to garry before as well, we see this the best in the spongebob movie out of water where garry becomes king of the snails and betrays spongebob in a way, garry is a smart character so if that could happen to a smart character what do you think it will do to Patrick. also as you said Patrick is like a child and child can see things and in a way mimic them or adopt them in there traits or something like that, and with that there is evidence that both spongebob and Patrick reflect on each other like in one episode spongebob had done something stupid with the plastic thing that he go from his news paper, and after a few minutes we saw Patrick had done the same. so they both reflect on each other
my favorite patrick antagonist episode is Big pink loser and my least favorite is one in season 8 pet sitter pat
I also hate pet sitter pat
I like it better when you don't see his real face
Will you do a Spongybits on No Nose Knows?
Question: why have you been avoiding using 'mean-spirited' lately? Did people tell you you were using it too much? Cause we know what you're thinking even if you don't use the actual word...lol
I think he himself decided that the word was overused and wasn't a very good description in general.
Favorite Patrick Antagonist Episode: Dumped
Mine is The Pink Purloiner, if that counts, if it doesn't, than my fave is Valentine's Day
Anyone else think this one was rather on the short side? AKA it ended way to quickly for me
I have an idea. You know how when theres the my leg gag and you put a broken leg in the corner?? Well, why not do the same with Patrick's a jerk?? You see, every time Patrick's a jerk you can put up that picture at 4:05.
Sand Castles in the sand
The URL to this video has the word pube in it... :')
NotNathan Man, I sure do love people who take everything seriously and have no sense of humour.
+NotNathan F*ck you Nathan, please come back :(
NotNathan lol srry its a reference :))))))
Why did you show ''Waiting'' as a example? Patrick did almost nothing wrong in ''Waiting''
Can you do an spongey bits on some of the most forgettable episodes like the masterpiece and bucket sweet bucket. Or a square theory on why they're forgettable. And yes I'm the one who said sb129 is forgettable, it NEVER airs.
An 129 is so good though
2 years later...
In my country I never see pre-movie spongebob on TV. However, as of commenting this, I recently saw Sandy's Rocket on YTV. Hopefully they keep the season 1 episodes coming!
What's so forgettable about Bucket Sweet Bucket
Wait spongebob was an antagonist? How can he work against himself (the shows protagonist)? Kinda confused ?
some episodes have other characters such as squidward in the role of the main protagonist. most "annoy squidward" episodes portray spongebob as the antagonist.
It was a joke
+TOG WAM oh sorry, your comment seemed genuine.
Doesnt anyone take a joke anymore? Where is your sense of humor?
+TOG WAM I always forget to bring my sense of humor to the internet.
What posters are left of the "Gravity Falls" and "Avatar: The Last Airbender" ones?
I think the one directly to the left of Avatar: The Last Airbender is Rocko's Modern Life
Racin' Mason That's what I was thinking
+Racin' Mason It is. Same ugly style.
Beside Gravity Falls is Adventure Time, and beside Avatar is Rocko's Modern Life.
I'm early. What's a good joke? Um... UA-cam COPYRIGHT SYSTEM!
@Knight of Psychosis Woah hoh hoh that one got me
What's your favorite episode of Patrick working as the antagonist?
Patrick's stupidity prevents him from seeing the error of his ways.
And that makes these episodes better because?
I agree
Patfrick.
STOP DENYING MY AGE
Hey pieguy, can you do a cartoon network rant video? that channel is in a bad state right now. you should talk about it
in my opinion,Patrick was always the antagonist. if it wasn't for him,Spongebob would never have gotten the job at the krusty krab and he didn't have to tolerate his stupid and greedy boss,Mr. Krabs. and Spongebob would also never met Sandy, the most bland and uninteresting character in the show.
i mean, every time Patrick boost Spongebob's confidence he was actually leading him into a trap, just because he don't actually care about him at all.
What you just said is simply.......*facepalm* inducing.
Dalibor Jovanovic i was just giving my opinion
Welp... I'm joke. Better make a early.
It just really makes me cringe that SpongeBob couldn't have ended on a high note.
(Irrelevant to video)
Pieguyrulz, have you ever watched an episode of T.u.f.f puppy? It's a god awful cartoon.
StingRae's Sonic 06 Copy IRYO on the show, it was part of my childhood.
I thought it was okay
To be honest, I couldn't stand Patrick in The Battle of Bikini Bottom. I guess that's sort of of personal thing b/c I can't stand it when people don't wash their hands. I guess I'm a little germaphobic in that way.
@John Reviews I don't get bothered by it in that episode but I do very much get bothered by when Squidward doesn't in Making Bikini Bottom Beautiful. As I'm a full on Germaphobe as well as having OCD.
I really hated Patrick as an antagonist in the episode I'm with stupid
I hope you don't mind another guy telling you you're very attractive!
it doesn't work in yours mines and mine cause there's no comedic slant to Patricks selfishness. it works in the battle of bikini bottom cause it's more relatable and more funny
HE'S EVIL! EEEEEEVVVVVIIIIILLL!!!!
