Glad you're ok Wes! One of the only bodybuilders that speaks openly about health in pro bodybuilding. A lot of other guys would've hid this and pretended it never happened. Your candidness and education is very much appreciated, even by a washed up natty like myself :)

Glad you're ok, thank you for being open about it. Is there a way we can go back to the narration style workout videos as opposed to music over sets? I found your insights during the narration very helpful.

Ah man, I just got around to finally watching this video, and I just want to say that I'm glad to hear you're okay now, and I admire the way you're handling this. Thank you for putting something like this out there because it's important that people realize the risks that come with bodybuilding, and putting out information on how to prevent and recognize a situation like this to take care of themselves within bodybuilding is an important topic. You being open about such things is a big reason why I respect you, and part of the reason why you're one of my personal favorite bodybuilders. Good luck at the Arnold UK btw!

i've seen a few of these kinds of videos where bodybuilders explain the laundry list of reasons why they almost died and how many confounding factors there were. All those guys are dead now. Fact is most people can have a bad sleep and a busy day and not nearly die the day after, you push the diet and the drugs hard and you risk death.

5:34 I think that drinking a liter of water at once is bad for your potassium levels, this can also be another cause in addition to low carbohydrates. I think it is better to drink that liter of water during the cardio session and not all at once before cardio. Greetings, get better

I get HYPO but only if i have coffee. i used to drink black coffee all day every day for 5 years. until i started to get HYPOGLYCEMIA. CAFFEINE can cause you to crash. I believe its something to do with adrenal fatique. interesting stuff.

Great your back on track man :) I had the same experince with low blood sugar under a cutting diet. I woke up and and was to quick jumping of my bed and stumpled a couple of meters and then everything was just black soo i tried to hold on at the kitcen counter but missed and crashed into the floor, luckely i turned when falling so just smashed the side of my face and hurted my knee but survived :) Shit happens and you learn from your misstakes...

I go hypoglycemic about once every month and its normally after a hard leg day or cardio session and its because the lack of fruit in my diet. Luckily i dont lose memory or anything instead i lose my vision and get a really bad headache. Its crazy because if i eat a apple once i begin going hypoglycemic literally with every bite i take 10% of my vision comes back

I have suffered from Hypos all my life and yes insulin can be a factor but also gear even small amounts . I have never taken more than 500 mg per week total when on cycle ans I have been in such a mess at time even unconscious . Once you have had one you are likely to get them more . I have been diagnosed with reactive hypoglycemia which meas my insulin doesn't shut of in time and keeps push my blood sugar lower that normal . The best thing for me is Dextrin 3 scoops mixed in with about 400 ml fruit juice, it works well and as you guys know the Dextrin doesn't drop off like glucose . Good look on the Future Wes

  • @worldtraveler8613

When i quit sugar cold turkey when i realized i ate way too much sugar, i went through a period of non diabetic hypoglycemia. It was terrible. I couldn't train. My blood sugar would drop so low so fast it was hard to sleep at night and it was causing dizziness and trouble breathing and extreme weakness. Took a couple months for my body to normalize again but thank God it did. Now thankfully my blood sugar is great. But i still dont believe in fasted cardio simply because of the lack of glucose in the body. Our sugar levels are the lowest when we wake up in the am. Wrong time to put your body through strenuous activity. Just my opinion.
