  • Join Janet Dee, the licensed physical therapist as she reviews the Cubii Pedal Exerciser!
A clinicians dream for initial, In-Home Rehab after an injury, surgery or medical event.
This seated elliptical pedal bike is a solid investment for someone who likes to remain active within their home. As a physical therapist, I prefer for you to use it multiple times a day for short durations rather than a long period of time. You will still get a great, complete workout and feel good when you do it. Stop when you start to feel out of breath. Record your stats each day to see your progress!
    Amazon Recommendation:
amzn.to/3kxap69 Cubii pedal exerciser model from the video
amzn.to/3vZaXH6 Cubii workout mat to protect hardwood floors

My son bought me this and in one week I can feel the difference and I have lost two and a half pounds just by exercising for 1 hour each evening whilst watching my television. I suffer with osteoarthritis on the top of my left foot and right hip and this epilitical seated exerciser is fantastic as it loosens everything up and I hardly feel any pain. I can highly recommend it but it is not cheap but worth every penny as I do not have to go out in all weathers to exercise as I can do it in the comfort of my chair.

Thank you. I have COPD and I need to lose some weight and I'm hoping this product helps. I purchased one from Amazon for 199.00. It's the Cubii, Jr. The actual price was $248.00 but I had a Honey account and the price dropped. Thanks again for your video.

      I love a good deal!
With COPD, it would be great if you had a pulse oximeter too to monitor how your body responds to exercise and start with short intervals! Best of luck to you!
P.S. I also have a pulse oximeter video that you can check out!

How can a hemiplegic use these under desk elliptical and prevent external hip rotation while using it?

      1. Use a theraband to tie both thighs
      2. Use hands to keep legs in alignment
      3. Sit in a taller chair
Let me know how these suggestions go

How long and how many times a day ? I’m guessing 5 minutes 3 times a day.

    • @janetdeethept6259
      @janetdeethept6259  6 місяців тому

If you are starting to exercise, start small. 5 minutes 3x day. But if you're consistently moving throughout the day, build your stamina with 10-15 minutes and add in forward and backward movement. Thanks for a great question!

is a walker or cane available for you to use in the mean time as you regain your leg strength? Local churches usually have a medical closet of supplies

If your feet slip and knees hurt, your chair is probably too low. Add a cushion or taller chair and let me know if you feel better!
