The video features Tony Maritato, a licensed physical therapist, reviewing a premium model of the QB exercise machine. He shares his experiences after using the machine for a week with several patients in his clinic. The QB is a versatile exercise machine that offers both upper and lower body workouts. It's relatively heavy, weighing between 20 to 25 pounds, but is easy to store due to its small footprint. The machine provides a range of motion exercises, with the intensity varying based on the positioning of the user's feet on the pedals. It's designed to work out various muscle groups including the hamstrings, quadriceps, and calf muscles, while also promoting better mobility through the hip, knee, and ankle joints.
The QB machine also features resistance in both forward and backward motions, enhancing the workout experience. It includes a digital display that turns on automatically, and handles with elastic tubing to provide resistance for upper body exercises. The machine is equipped with wheels and a hand grip underneath for easy repositioning. Tony expresses satisfaction with the QB, highlighting its convenience and effectiveness in providing a comprehensive workout. He appreciates its design, which allows for easy storage and mobility, and its ability to cater to a variety of exercise needs.

I have a similar under-desk elliptical but another brand. This was great to use after last summer’s left knee replacement. I’ve been using this at a higher resistance for an hour every morning as part of my prehab for my right knee replacement this coming Monday (6/26/23). 🙂
Wow! That is incredible. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Tony, I am from Toronto and I have been watching all your videos since February of 2023. I must say I love everything about your videos and it has been more than beneficial to me especially about Rehab from you.
I had a total left knee replacement done on March 7 2023,and with your help I was able to overcome all the requirements and now I am healing and recovering nicely.
I am a patient with Rheumatoid Arthritis of 23 years and I am booked to have surgery on my right knee in Oct.of this year.. My only problem right now is my hemogoblin is very low and that was a problem last time and I nearly die because I wasn't given a transfusion during surgery .It was only after I passed out and it was a struggle for me to regain my self that I was given 2 bags of hemogoblin and one bag of iron transfusion .
Right now I live in fear and am seeing a hemotologist for help and hoping things improve before October 2023. If you have any suggestions for me do not hesitate to let me know.
Oh, I used my Cubii which enabled me to achive my goals to get my proper bend and made my walking better. It is fantastic
Thank you for all your help. Emma
Hi Emma - I was shocked, to say the least, upon reading your comment because I’m 9 weeks post op, and I’m also hematologist-bound. My primary care did say that this can sometimes happen after surgery, but I’m still rattled!!!
Appreciate all of your narratives….had a TKR - 10 months ago - still having issues but improving….still the best thing I’ve done…my knee was just dangerous to try to walk in before….
Thanks for the comment.
Hi I had TKR 3wks ago
Purchased one of these before surgery. When would you recommend I start using it thank you for all your help. Love your videos. They help a lot.
I usually have my patients using this around day 5-7 post op.
On another note. Love everything about you. I had my right total knee surgery on 5/24. My knee is fantastic. I have major pain in my right lower back and right butt cheek. Is that related to my surgeon?❤❤❤❤
What type of chair or height of chair do you use with us so that it’s not compromising certain muscles?
I have access to a recumbent bike, so should i be looking into buying this too?
One or the other. I think the recumbent bike is better.
Hi Tony. I had a left TKR in 2016 and the right TKR in 2019. After both surgeries, I was only able to achieve about 100 degrees range of motion; however, now I've settled into 90 degrees in both knees. I used the NuStep recumbent stepper and loved it during physical therapy. I was wondering your thoughts on trying to purchase a NuStep (or PhysioStep or Scifit StepOne) as ongoing in-home therapy? I have fallen twice due to instability in my knees, resulting in TBI/concussion and I could have died. I don't want to continue to go downhill. But cost and the distance to find a stepper are a big concern, since I am retired and living on SS only.
Currently borrowing my neighbor’s Cubii trying to strengthen quad after tibial plateau fracture in July. Should I use highest resistance?
Which is better-cubii or sunny brands? Thanks
How to get relief of calf muscle every sore 😢
I'm day 6 and it has gotten 😢sore today worse I have been walking around it's sore
Would this be a good investment for someone with a TPF who is non weight bearing?
You would need to clear it with your surgeon.
