Is it named 406 garage because he only uploads every 406 days?
😂😂
Because he's a runaway from Montana
Was gonna say....why is Ben filming? He's never gonna put it up on YT....or maybe he's making a feature length film.
@@joeschmoe4030 he was doing good a year ago,
I don't think it helps when the mechanic isn't on board with filming.
But whenever he decides to get back at it I'll be interested to watch anything he posts.
I hate Casey LaDelle!
I’m a Toyota junkie I’ve owned a ton of them prefer the older ones I currently own a 2007 tacoma that’s the newest i will prob ever own keep up the amazing content excited for this upload 🙏 shout out from western wa
Toyota's are fine, their owners on the other hand.....
Each time I see a new video, it's a treat!
Nothing better then good friend giving crap to good friends😅
the good natured ball busting is hilarious
Land Cruisers have saved my butt literally.
Our Suburbans couldn’t handle anything close to what the L/C’s would and we’re in the motor pool more than out. My family had well over a million miles on them and nothing but scheduled maintenance.
I have a 98 Tacoma with 286k on the clock. Nothing is worn out on it yet. I'll never buy another new Ford or Chevy truck ever again.
I'll buy a Yota... when they make a smaller Hino diesel & stick it in a Tundra HD or something... surprised they haven't tapped the HD market yet!
@cigarsgunsanddiesel8032 Yeah I'm with you on the Hino diesel. 2.7 four for me rn though 😆
My 98 Trd 3rz has 327k and uses zero oil, never left me any where since bought in 2010 with 140k, has original starter, top that
I'm waiting for Bruce's comment on this video. WHERE ARE YOU BRUCE.😂
Our son drives a 1987 4 Runner that his late aunt bought new and has made its way through various family members. We gave him our 2003 Sienna van we bought new (300,000+ miles now) and said sell it , keep the money. More than one year later he still has it because his wife wanted to keep it. I’m on my second 4 Runner, gave my 2017 to our daughter and son-in-law so he had a better driver. My husband has a 2007 FJ Cruiser, stick shift, and a 2019 Sequoia. Years ago we had a Camry and my husband’s first vehicle before I knew him was a Toyota Hilux, 1972 I think. Yes we love our Toyotas.
How to spell hate: Casey
My black hate casey shirts arrived here in NZ..
Now I want another Toyota Truck! Loved my first one!
You can probably get a good deal on Wes' truck.
I'm an old mechanic from a bygone era when I could eyeball whether it was a 3/8, half, 9/16, 5/8, or 13/16th
Thanks for the vignette of your day, especially the male bonding.
Its Allens fault! He runs his upside down a lot LOL Yankum ropes to the rescue !
and hugs to you!
Sorry about the truck Wes but shit happens in the woods.....
Now Wes can have his off-roader in any style he wants.....
Casey, I also totally despise toyotas as well, I prefer Nissan or Dodge
Knowing insurance companies they will offer 16 grand and offer to sell it back for twelve grand!
Needless to say, I am not a big fan of insurance companies and their payments!
I love Casey's vids. Always something funny. I also get to live vicariously through these vids. Wish I could to again. 😔
I see that at 406 Garage you were using the Bruce Cook method of tow trucking just without the comfy chair 🤣😂😂
98 4runner here. 357,000 miles and going strong!
02 4Runner 441K..gotta love em.
98 4Runner was what we bought our daughter in 2007 when she graduated high school. After keeping it through college, a move to Texas and several years of marriage, it ended up with her father-in-law back here in the town where we live in Oregon
Hello 406 garage! Haven't seen any videos from you lately. That's one tough Toyota. Would be a great wheeler!
Toyotas use even size bolt heads whenever possible.
No. Mm´s are rarely even, that´s mostly when you´ve got a bolt with a nut on, then they´ll make the bolt head 1mm smaller so you can get away with carrying just one set of wrenches.
Is Les really a Green Bay Packers fan?
Gp Packers....from Mayville, Wisconsin
Did you enjoy the L yesterday? Skol.
@@Eric_Olsen Yes, Skol.
I enjoy watching.. better than tv anyway. You know it takes one of you guys to hold the bulb, two to spins the ladder and one to find the bad bulb first. Pays to have good friends . I totaled my Jeep but just replaceable body parts. So I bought it back savage and got the check for the Jeep. Found parts in Walbash and fixed it back up , drove it for 5 years more. Then frame broke and I sold it parted out and made another 1500… 260,000 miles on it when it was sold and the guy started it and drove it home, slowly because of the frame. Motor ran great. I had 20 years of fun in it.oh with the checks from the insurance paid for all the parts to fix it, soils doors with roll up windows, a fiberglass top, roll bar and hood. Two tanks of gas and 5 new tires. And a pizza. I walked away from the wreck and was even able to drive it home.
Who told the Toyota to play dead?
All your videos are so damn good you either learn something or see a beautiful view or laugh like hell my problem is your damn videos are like potato chips you can't just watch one I'll start watching One video and then 3 hours later I'm like holy crap I got to go to bed keep up the good work Casey❤
Are you sure that lessons weren't learned from Trail Mater as to the way to interact with your friends. Shenanigans, laughter and good natured teasing. Great video Casey.
Casey you forgot, you do have to get a tire fixed on the Zack lift, you stated.
Did you miss it? It got fixed😂
Lets all look the other way on the 100,000 engines being replaced by Toyota because they never breakdown. I have heard it said that having a Toyota is like being married to a ugly woman, you know she will always be there but not much to look forward to when you come home.
Me too I’ve had a lot of Fords and I love working out of a Ford truck, but Toyotas last so much longer than any other truck.
Casey has a couple loose phillips screws loose and only has a standard screwdriver. Ben has slotted screws and a crescent, so Wes must have bolts rattling around in there and only have a phillips.
You all are underthinking this. You have a modern international engine and a toyota powertrain and Ben definitely has a beat up International truck cab sitting around. He has a UA-cam channel and UA-cam collabs are definitely a thing. This should become a UA-cam build and wes gets an offroad truck. Even if not wanting to keep it International there are other cabs siting on his lot.
But who pays for it?
Its hard to beat having a tool box ya just know where everything is then ive got two in my garage myself and i dont have any trouble finding my tools well worth the investment id say
Are you going to lend Wes the western star?😂😂😂.
So, the Japanese truck wadded up like tin foil and the American fiberglass topper held up perfectly? hhmmmmm
Different materials built for different purposes, and you don’t know what part hit. I can tell you from experience every truck folds, doesn’t matter who builds it.
Remember Casey , like another UA-cam channel stated , every tool has a hammer side
If that's the case then they are selling a different Toyota on the West coast then on the East coast. Over here they can't keep them outta the shop.
Save that one and make it for the next Off-road Games
Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda flat towed with the wife's Jeep.
#IHateCaseyLadelle
The buy back figure was 20% of totaled cash value.
Who makes the camper shell? That held up 😊
You think those boys beat that Toyo up enough? Ridiculous.
That sucks, looks like it was a nice truck.
Here in Europe, Toyotas are always underpowered, and they can´t tow for sh1t. Normal trucks here can tow 3.5 tons, Toyota says nah... 2.2 will do for us.. Then they have 120hp engines when everyone else have 160-180. And their gearboxes sound like nobody bothered to match the parts inside.
Gosh I hate this for Wes, he's a great guy. That sick feeling in the pit of your stomach looking at your totaled truck (vehicle), especially if it's this close to being paid in full. I hope everything works well for him. I love Ben's answer- we've all got some screws loose 😅😅 Always glad to see your buddies- great guys all. Always enjoy the good natured bsing you guys do. Safe travels, GOD bless
What happened to Ethan
He went back to his old job
He was a forest specialist and just helped Casey between season employment.
Casey you should keep that Toyota Tundra so you make off road tow truck
hat cam makes me sea sick ,don't worry i will survive
At 24:42, you were headed off to the driver's seat of the Western Star. Next second, you are driving off. I will assume you looked in the mirror and saw that the right rear Zaklift door was still open, because it was closed when you got to Ben's place. I loved the way Ben's dog barked at you until he/she figured out who you were! After that, you were in danger of being licked to death- and there is nothing wrong with that!
Had a rarther large tree branch fall on my 07 tundra crinkled the roof couple good golf ball size dents up the apilar couple body panels nothing tweaked to a point couldn't toss in a new windshield and run it has 225k miles insurance wrote it off at 10.5k with a 3k buy back no hassle easy peasy was paid in 2weeks of filing
I'm sure it can be be buff that out😅
Yep! My recovery gear is under my back seat. I can actually get to it without flipping the seat if I had too. Yeah, having mates around is important. I really miss that!
Toyota undoubtedly had the best half ton truck with the 5.7. Unfortunately they got rid of it.
Government made them.
And moved the production to Mexico
The banter among good friends 😂 Good that you got your tire fixed! You took care of them, they take care of you!👍😎 Stay safe out there ❤️🇺🇸
Need an isuzu 4x4 cab over.
Then you'll have a tow truck that. Won't break down.
Or just suck it up, and use the brick-nose. Probably cheaper.
Other option, You need to find one of the 10 lugs from the brick nose Ara, with the Quigley conversion to 4x4 and 4 door.
!!And a decent fuel tank!!
Guy rolls his truck, and your still taking the piss out of him. Love it , that's what friends do.
Last time I had ash from fires on my vehicle it was about 1/8 inch black chunks of charcoal
Wear a DOT approved helmet and I bet you’d not even get pulled over for no windshield haha
Off topic for the video but i have a question about the wheel grids. Would it be impractical to have long enough side bars where you can split the difference and could pick up a tandem axle truck without having to chain up the an axle?
@@The_JEB WAY too much leverage on the under reach crossbar
I see, that makes sense. Thanks for answering
I enjoy the way you
Interact with your friends. The joking and picking at each other
Sr. Just bc your car is mortally wounded doesn't mean you can park there. 😂
I would Do A Body Swap n put an old Classic on the Toyota drivetrain 😂
Hmmm, tools in the shop. I think I get it, you want to be like @BruceCook .
Was that a VT license plate?
I was born in VT,
And now live in NH.
I too live in VT, at first glance it looks like a VT plate. But it is a Oregon Plate.
a packer fan? woohoo
The other week I threw a racheting tool on the ground while working on the tractor, finaly found it the other day, after it got rained on a couple times. Oiling it seems to help a little.
Am I actually early to a video? 😱
He must “hate Casey LaDelle” since he doesn’t do his job
The art of engineering: Finding the right wrench to pound home the correct screw
A packer fan in Oregon..that man needs help😅😅
Oh sadness.. my dream vehicle. Toyota built to last.
My back thanks you for not putting the bar on the ground
Need wheel dollies so you don't have to take drive line out.
I am a Toyota Tech Toyotas used 8 10 12 14 17 19 21 24
it's a run and drive more than most rides that I have.
Same 😂
You and that Zach lift make it look so easy 😂
My 03 Tundra still kicking ass! 🤙
Stop telling everyone
Well you were using a crescent hammer 🔨.
Is there any risk with towing something where the side wall of the tire is not touching the side of the wheel grids that the truck could slide enough to fall off the wheel grid?
Nope
It’s always good to have friends
Hi Casey. I learned this quick tip on UA-cam. Wash your seatbelts and they retract better. And maybe silicone spray the retractor.🙂Let them soak in laundry detergent. use a vice grip to keep the belt out.
Why would I use a vice grip to hold them out when the truck has a factory holding latch?
Good point. You did make that. I drive a Toyota baby
great as always great content very entertaining
Toyotas are made by Harbour freight
could you just start it and let it run while you tow it so you wouldn't have to disconnect the drive shaft?
Possibly, and I’ve done that for slow speed in the woods, but it’s too risky to do going down the road
1 owner accident free adult driven.
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
HUGS!!
I'd drive that Tundra 100 miles in daylight but with some ski goggles on, kick out the what's left of the windshield and 10 minutes of shop vac, good to grow 🪴
Wes make Casey swing his own hammer.
The hell with the haters I enjoy your content and you’re getting western recovering vehicles thank you much for your contactAnd if I ever get stuck or broke down in northern Arizona going to call wrecker Rick
A deer killed my 3/4 ton 4x4 8100 big block Suburban. I could have bought it back for $700.
You stayed away for too long, if Lucy doesn’t recognize you by sight or sound, but needs her nose to go "I love Casey!"
Crescent hammer for the win!
Desert runner is coming soon 😂
My brother inlaw rolled his tundra off the highway and landed on the wheels, when he got it started and got back on the highway he got tickets for off roading and a cracked windshield, he got the windshield replaced and new mirrors then traded it and a sienna for a tow truck and has towed the tundra a few times because the guy who got the tundra keeps getting in a bind, punched a hole in the gas tank a few times and a couple radiators with limbs sticking through the front
You should have 2 of those bars for your ratchets. So they're both on the wrong side of the truck!LOL
Should have brought the dolly wheels from the Ford wrecker and that way you could have just slipped them underneath the back tires and hit the road
Toyota its always a 14 or 17
Super smokie today
Get some day glow nail polish on the details of those tools. Makes them so much better to see and sort Color your standard green and metric yellow.
Good on you slow mo. It's everything just at casey Ladell speed.
Forgive me but I had a funny thought. It is important to clean your ash everyday LoL
