Regarding Scanlan, I'm still going to joke that you're basically Kaylie in real life. Mainly from the accent, hair, and attitude towards him. Keyleth is going to get even angrier, as the love triangle between her, Vax and Raishan plays out.

YES! Thank you. So many people say that their relationship is way too sudden, but if you look, there were hints from the very start. Though I do agree them getting married was a bit rushed. 😁
Fun Fact The leader of Marquet goes by the title of Emperex, which is another unisex title of leadership; much like how Uriel went by Sovereign instead of King. I only mention this because, on my first viewing, I speculate that the Emperex of Marquet may actually be genderless/non-binary
J'mon sa ord, the leader of Ankharel, does use they/them pronouns, yes. That isn't a spoiler. There are some other spoilers about J'mon and Marquet as a whole tho that I will try to avoid
Omg Vax, his vision makes sense to Me. Keyleth is a Druid, if she masters the Druidic Arts she could live for Thousands of Years and out live everybody she had grown close too. That’s what he witnessed when he kissed her!
4:48 Did you remember a little girl? Yes, I remember a little girl from Season 2, Episode 01. Grog notices an angry-looking little girl with vibrant green eyes staring at him.
I had a hard time with him too. I appreciate him as a character. Sam did a brilliant job with him. But I never developed a personal connection to him the way I did all the others.
Just to explain the vision Vax had when kissing Keyleth, when she completes going to all the Elemental areas for her journey, she will become an Archdruid. And their lives gets extended drastically. They age 1 year for every 10 years that actually pass. So he was seeing the distant future where the rest of party passes away from old age and she is left to grieve them all alone
I'm sure Sam understands some people wont like his characters but more so i am also sure he understands that dislike is not for him nor were any of your comments about Scanlan. But its still awesome of you to say.
I don't know if they'll mention it in the show, but to answer your question: Thordak did lay the eggs. Matt mentioned in a Critical Role aftershow (which has since been removed, I think because the host was problematic) that part of the mutations from the gem allowed him to reproduce asexually, even though most dragons can't.
the vision of the graveyard gets even more tragic later on when you realize Keyleth isn't just mourning her friends but the love of her lives. I don't want to give too much stuff away, but lets say poly-machina is a thing (not between vex and vax of course, or Pike and Grog, but everyone else is fair game)
I'm really excited for Ripley's redemption arc this season. It's a shame we lose Vex, but honestly, I think Ripley and Percy make such a great couple. 😁
I think the vision vax had just shows keyleth outliving everyone else. She is druid with the potential to become an archdruid so she could live for much much longer than the rest of vox machina. But that is unfair to keyleth. She deserves to find love even if its for a short time in comparison to her lifespan.
I don't actually remember anything about the eggs from the livestream, other than they were there. My theory is that fire dragon eggs need heat to hatch, and they were just hidden away until Thordak claimed a lair. Keyleth reacted pretty much the same in the livestream; curious to see how close the big showdown turns out... wait, the favour! It's not going to be..? Aw, nuts... but I'll keep shtum for now, just in case. The hand is hand-made, she's had it from the start of season 2. The cloak is the only vestige she's using. RIP Lance. Too fucking soon. Horizon must be keeping Sylens for the third game, but it's like Vader, there's only been one voice for the character...
Just to explain a bit about Thordak's eggs. Typically dragons do need a partner of the opposite sex in order to reproduce, Thordak is an exception because of the mutations to his body as a result of the Soul Anchor which allow him to reproduce asexually. That's actually part of what made the threat of Thordak's brood so terrifying. Should they hatch there's no telling the kind of destruction that could be wrought by a new species of primordial dragons that may also be able to reproduce asexually. Such creatures could easily overrun and overwhelm the entire world.
Never trust a Green Dragon, Mosco. I say this as an avid Dragon lover, but Green Dragons in DnD are notorious liars. We never saw her side of the actual conversation with Thordak, and I learned from the Luke Cage series that the key to getting away with a lie is to have it run parallel to the truth.
Sam Riegel us a son of a b. I say that with love. Sam has made me cry more than 4 times now. Every character he has made has made me cry at least once during the live show. And sam himself made me cry when he did his update video for everyone about his life. You can trust sam with your life... but not your emotions.
There's a video on their UA-cam channel with Sam talking about it. It's from 2 months ago, titled "It's Been A While". Which I just realized is another of their recurring memes, much like "makinmyway", though less common than that one - a reference to the song "It's Been Awhile" by the band Staind.
Kiki's getting a bit sweary? Really? Pot meet kettle. Seriously though, don't ever change! I'm hoping that they include one specific aspect from the original campaign; you may lose it completely.
I'm so glad this show is back! Everyone raise a glass to Lance Reddick, a great actor gone much too soon. Thankfully he was able to record all his lines as Thordak before he died.

The leader of Marquet goes by the title of Emperex, which is another unisex title of leadership; much like how Uriel went by Sovereign instead of King.
@@MehrGills Trust me, I won't be revealing THAT part about them
Omg Vax, his vision makes sense to Me.
I was so excited that they included the Kaylie/Grog romance... does that mean we'll be seeing were-bear trinket?
Wooo! We are so back
Great reaction. Scanlan will grow on you.
How the fuck am I just finding out Dame Maggie Smith passed away... RIP
It was very recent, last week I think. And James Earl Jones right around the same time. Two really big losses. 😭
I can't wait for you to see Dr. Ripley's redemption arc! Good thing, too, cause they needed another character to replace the one that died! 😉
ooooh we’re baaack!!! 🎉
Vox machina season 3!!!!!!!!! Yayyyyy!!!
I'm sure Sam understands some people wont like his characters but more so i am also sure he understands that dislike is not for him nor were any of your comments about Scanlan. But its still awesome of you to say.
SEASON 3 SCENERY IS GORGEOUS!!! I WANT TO EAT ANK'HAREL LIKE CANDY
Love the reaction!! Can't wait for this new season!
Whoohoo, hells yhea
The way I screamed when I saw the title. I thought season three came out in November
No love for The Eldritch Knights? Eldritch Knight/Bladesinger multiclass 4-Life!
I'm really excited for Ripley's redemption arc this season. It's a shame we lose Vex, but honestly, I think Ripley and Percy make such a great couple. 😁
Vax & Keyleth would make a cute couple, plus they both are badass in their own ways
I think the vision vax had just shows keyleth outliving everyone else. She is druid with the potential to become an archdruid so she could live for much much longer than the rest of vox machina.
But that is unfair to keyleth. She deserves to find love even if its for a short time in comparison to her lifespan.
Thordak laid those eggs himself. The Soul Anchor mutated him and allows him to reproduce asexually
Spoiler...or fake...you decide
It will all make sense when the immortal talking red weasel makes an appearance
The keyleth and vax kiss made me cry!
All of Vox Machinia except Kayleth got eaten by a rhino.
Anyone else think that Mistress Asharru looks kinda like Ana from Overwatch?
Never trust a Green Dragon, Mosco. I say this as an avid Dragon lover, but Green Dragons in DnD are notorious liars. We never saw her side of the actual conversation with Thordak, and I learned from the Luke Cage series that the key to getting away with a lie is to have it run parallel to the truth.
Yeeeeeh, especially when said dragon is greeted as "the Diseased Deceiver" by Thordak.
The favor was something else in the game, but I won't say what just in case they end up using it later.
Sam Riegel us a son of a b. I say that with love. Sam has made me cry more than 4 times now. Every character he has made has made me cry at least once during the live show. And sam himself made me cry when he did his update video for everyone about his life.
You can trust sam with your life... but not your emotions.
Thordak did lay the eggs yes! :D Exandrian dragons do not follow gender in the normal sense of the word, very interesting!
Third am laid the eggs asexually, because the Soul Anchor crystal in his chest has mutated him
Fake Spoiler: Scan-man seduces Thordak, Vorugal, and Raisan and creates a new subspecies of dragon with them.
Kiki has visibly aged. Full elves have extended lifepans. Middle aged kiki has long lived passed the rest of vox machina. sorry.
In her case it's an Archdruid thing. Keyleth is a half-elf
what happened to scanlan's voice actor? why does wee lass feel guilty?
Cancer. He was actually absent from campaign 3 for surgery and radiation therapy
To clarify he is much better now, still recovering, but to my knowledge he beat it.
There's a video on their UA-cam channel with Sam talking about it. It's from 2 months ago, titled "It's Been A While".
Which I just realized is another of their recurring memes, much like "makinmyway", though less common than that one - a reference to the song "It's Been Awhile" by the band Staind.
Wooooooooo!
Cool
Kiki's getting a bit sweary? Really? Pot meet kettle. Seriously though, don't ever change! I'm hoping that they include one specific aspect from the original campaign; you may lose it completely.
I think you’re going to just have to put Hamish right next to you every episode.
Feel like this season started with too many that-doesn't-make-a-lot-of-sense moments...
