I think you missed something a lot of other people also seem to miss Caine doesn't "forget" Zooble's issues on his own. He follows their request to "forget it" to the letter Zooble: "Forget it" Caine: "Forget it?" Zooble: just... Forget it" Caine, suddenly no longer remembering:"forget what?"
Caine is quite literally "forgetting it" as requested, but Tbf a lot of times that particular setup is used to emphasize that the person is not listening at all; it's very rarely literal.
I love how Kinger being more sane when he's in the dark was foreshadowed. In ep 2 when he has the bucket over his head, he remembered Ragatha's first day at the circus, but as soon as he takes the bucket off, he stops remembering. That and how he's always hiding in this pillow fort all led up to that heartbreaking scene. Now that's great writing.
Caine saying "pretend we weren't having a therapy session" aligns with the cast having to hide the funeral from him last episode. He was made to entertain children, and is likely hard programmed to avoid heavy topics. If a kid has a problem, he's coded to cheer them up with games, toys, and wacky antics. This is why the best solution he had for Zooble was to give them a box of toys and turn finding the right pieces into a game.
The fact that the only instance Kinger stays sane is by putting himself back in darkness, all so he could remember the most important person in his life… 😢
It's VERY telling that Caine's "solution" to Zooble's body dysmorphia was to turn it into a game, complete with a box of toys. Additionally, notice how he's completely oblivious to Pomni's anguish but has laser-focused on Zooble's? That's because his system only flags something as "wrong" if a player isn't engaged in the game.
I don't think the people are here for any particular reason. I think Caine is exactly what he appears to be: an AI who was meant to be the ringmaster if the circus and an entertainer, but people were never intended to be trapped here and he was never intended to be in charge of person's wellbeing. He fundamentally doesn't understand human nature and he's trying the best he can but he's also causing as much harm as good. This might have started in the 90s but years have passed and a lot of these people have been trapped for a long long time. the office with the headset we saw in the first episode looked very old and abandoned. it had the logo, C&A which most people are guessing stands for "Caine and Able." I think none of people are mentally well, but it's more because they're stuck there and it's fraying their sanity and they've each developed their own unhealthy coping mechanisms. Kinger literally doesn't think about anything. Gangle hides her emotions behind her masks. Zooble is antisocial and withdrawn. Ragitha has developed toxic positivity. Jax distracts himself by screwing with everyone around him. Kinger was right, the other people trapped in the circus are the only things that matter so quite literally the WORST thing you can do is make them feel unwanted or unloved. it would inevitably cause them to break and abstract. Kindness and eachother are the only things keeping them all going.
That's exactly what I was thinking! I think Caine is genuinely trying his best to help his new friends but fails every time because he can't understand human emotions. He tries making an exit door for them but has no idea what their dimension looks like so it just leads to nowhere, he tries helping Zooble but can't register them saying "forget it" isn't an actual order, he creates adventures with storylines and puzzles to keep them engaged, he puts the Abstracts in the cellar so they don't get overstimulated (Kinger's wife was calmer in the pillow fort with minimal lights and noise, we also see how bright their vision gets in ep 1), etc.
Body dysmorphia isn't inherently a trans issue, just (almost always) associated with it. Many people with eating disorders often have it as well. In any xase I liked this episode more than the first two. Kinger and Zooble are definitely the most interesting characters to me.
Mental health is definitely a recurring theme in this show, and everyone has their own thing going on. Even Caine isn't immune anxiety and self-esteem issues. But as an AI, he isn't really capable of understanding and processing complex emotions, there is no logical straightforward way to break it all down. He keeps hitting roadblocks and doesn't know how to progress. And he isn't able to recognize the signs that something is wrong, in others or himself.
One of the best parts of this episode was Kinger saying "You know, I'm starting to think" as soon as Pomni and him landed on the first level of the dark mansion. And with every level they went deeper, he became more and more lucid, until he became fully self aware in "hell". He LITERALLY started to think in that exact moment.
the reason Caine is forgetting is because Zooble quite literally says "forget It" to him, so He does everytime Also speaking of Zooble, It is Body dysmorphia but because of the Circus as Zooble says "I hate all these removeable parts"
I think Kinger's wise, comforting nature also comes from being the eldest of all the characters. The creator confirmed he's 48, Ragatha is 30, and the rest are in their mid to early twenties. He's almost fatherly in his moments of clarity and it's very touching. The wackiest and funniest characters are almost always the most heartbreaking and I knew he would be my fave the moment we met him. ❤
Caine is such an interesting antagonist because he clearly doesn't mean to harm these characters, but at the same time he doesn't seem to process what he does *is* harmful. He's a computer program, designed to purely create activities for little kids. And now, with literally nothing else to do, is unofficially tasked to *look after* a group of human beings. He does this by doing only what he knows best, to create activities for them lol.
I wouldn't even call him an antagonist, really. I think he wants to make these people happy but is simply incapable of doing so due to the circumstances. He's just not programmed to handle what they're going through.
I'm kind of surprised more people aren't talking about Zooble's self-loathing and body dysmorphia. That was just as heartbreaking as the stuff with Kinger imo. I hope they get an episode that dives more into it soon.
As a Trans Guy, it hit me right in the gut. Then again when Caine said it was already solved and to just put new Zooble parts on. One, because I would always use video games as a way to try to customize my character to be a boy, and Two, because it could be taken the same way as when people say to just try different clothes (and other things) that fit your assigned gender when you complain about Dysphoria.
I didn't spend more time talking about it because I can't relate, hence why I asked the audience, not really my place to discuss something I don't have all the info on.
@@KrakenSea13 i feel this all too well brother. People who don't experience dysphoria or dysmorphia can't understand what it is like, and they think the solution should be something much more simple than it is.
@@WeeLassReacts Completely get that! and I respect you very much for admitting that in the video before you talked about it! what you did mention was SPOT ON though :D Thank you for bringing it up in a respectful way even though you don't relate 🥰🥰
This episode was so good and slightly unsettling. Kinger was such a highlight and his relationship with Pomni was so sweet. His backstory makes me love him more. Zooble's therapy session was interesting cause we haven't seen much of them and it was nice to see what they think, though the implication that the circus is linked to Caine's mental state does not sound good for our protags
7:16 I just realiced something. Kinger said that he's able to remember things and being more coherent when he's on the dark, so when he said "I'm starting to think" it's because his mind is starting to be "normal" again 'cause he's on the dark? And he just tell Pomni about it?
I don't think Kinger is a therapist in this VR. He literally said he spent 7 Years in computer science. And he's just as messed up as everyone else. Kinger's gotta be a programmer for TADC. It makes the most sense for everything so far. One of the theories I've heard about Jax being a rogue NPC is feeling more and more real the more he hides things. Or he could just be an ass. 50/50 on that.
I feel bad for Zooble, having body dismorphia and feeling like that is not fun. Being nonbinary and still feeling like the body is still not it, it sucks. Diving into video games or online can help, but not always.
@@Rosewolf29 i find it interesting. I know a lot of trans people (including nonbinary people) who have gender dysphoria, but body dysmorphia on the other hand is a new topic for me, where I cannot name someone who has it. To the extend that you feel comfortable, could you explain a bit what body dysmorphia is?
@@TheRedMooncorp sure. I’ll try my best to explain it but it’s different for every person. Body dysmorphia is basically where you obsess over a little flaw that you see in your appearance that others don’t see. From the people I known who have it (myself included) it can be as small as not liking what we look like in certain colors or as big as what happened with Zoople where you change everything about yourself and still not happy. You just hate yourself, even if others tell you your pretty.
The crazy part is Caine made an adventure that would have given Pomni a break and a chance to enjoy herself on the calm path and Zooble a more mature adventure on the scary path. He made an adventure that would have appealed to the two people he is having the hardest time making happy but cant control their individual actions so it went wrong.
I feel like in this case he couldn't control Jax's actions. Given the choice Pomni would probably have gone through the nice door and had an easier time.
Everyone always gets stumped by the "theoretical children" line, lol, I'm pretty sure it's implying that either they wanted children but never had any due to his hunting obsession (and cuz. Ya know, he shot her) or more tragically, she WAS pregnant when she was killed and thus the child died too. And they couldn't have existed, otherwise they wouldn't be theoretical.
This episode really gives a lot of insight into how Caine, despite his best intentions, really doesn’t understand how the human psyche works. For instance, his solution to Zooble hating their body is to give them an endless amount of swappable parts. He doesn’t understand that Zooble’s issues go much deeper than that because of his programming leaves him with a one-tracked way of thinking.
Well, I as a human also, don't get it. Zooble has all those good parts. How come there isn't some that she likes. I personally don't think about my body. Except for how much it hurts. It's not like notice your body much in day to day life.
@DJPrimeAmvs right, but it's not like they're looking in the mirror. If you never look at yourself in the mirror does it matter what you look like.. maybe it's a woman thing. Men, in general, don't think about what they look like as much.
You know there's a fan theory that Jax is an npc that became self aware and that's why he can break the fourth wall and why he seems more mentally stable than the others.
That'd certainly explain why he's so antagonistic: he's just fulfilling the role he was programmed for. HOWEVER! I'm not quite sure that's the case, because Caine specifically said he was testing out a new AI in the last one, implying that previous NPCs weren't capable of sentience.
one thing i noticed is that pomni's eye's when she gets posessed kind of resemble CYN's eye's from murder drones. its a cute little call-out since glitch made both show's.
Kinger was definitely the highlight of the episode! 💜🧡💚 He was so brave, protectively, kind, and wise to Pomni, I loved their interaction so much! It was so sweet! He’s one of my favorite characters! Zooble was also so interesting and sympathetic. I relate to her so much due to her body dysphoria, I love her🥹 🎃💀👻 this episode was so terrifyingly good! 10/10! Your hair looks so amazing
Weird opinon: I think the angel actually looks less scary with its mouth open and teeth showing than when its mouth is closed and neutral. When it's roaring it looks distinctly like a monster, but when it's neutral, it's very uncanny valley like
It gives big Courage the Cowardly Dog vibes where it's scary, but in a distinctly cartoonish way. It's also EXTREMELY Gooseworx, with similar-looking monsters appearing in some of her older art.
I know it’s seemingly a joke but I realized when Kinger said “I’m starting to think.” after being put in adventure, it was actually foreshadowing the darker lighting allowing him to actually think properly again (even if it still takes a while before he’s able to fully able to become more rational.)
YESSS this episode really shed light on Kinger’s past! I hope we get more info on Zooble and watch them grow and maybe even learn to accept their self the way they are. However, not many people have talked about this, but Cain might be insecure, judging by the scene where he “slightly” tweaks out at Zooble referencing that he’s not good at making adventures. I’m totally looking to deep into things, but what fandom member doesn’t? :D
The theory about mental health Kind of makes sense Because maybe pomni in the real world Thought she was foolish and that's why she appears as a clown in the show
11:02 hmm, you could be somewhere on the story, the headset tech was prolly initially advertised as an experimental medical procedure. Whoever the designers were tried to get proper funding for the tech and they reached out with investors in the medical field. Zooble was one of the early “patients” to sign up for it to help their dysmorphia. And I could imagine Jax wasn’t a patient voluntarily, maybe his parents set him up with it to resolve his frankly disturbing and rude behaviors. I think eventually when the procedure was successful, they get more funding to make the system more stable and one day launch as the next big gaming console of the 21st century 🤔
Regarding your question about body dysmorphia and transpeople. I think you might be confusing body dysmorphia with gender dysphoria, the latter is essentially a pervasive feeling of discomfort with ones prescribed gender. I do not know enough about body dysmorphia to comment on this, but regarding the situation of trans people in the 90s it was surely in most cases worse, but it differed across countries. There were at least a few countries were you could get gender affirming care and change your legal gender (East and west Germany for example started doing so in the 80s I think). It was absolutely seen through a mental illness lense back then, but to be fair it to an extend still is, for example the ICD11 has taken the step of specifically seeing body dysphoria, therefore the discomfort of performing a gender that doesn´t align with ones inner identity, as a mental illness instead of pathologizing being trans itself. However it was different in the ICD10, which is still used in Germany and probably other countries as well. However if it is body dysmorphia that Zooble has, than I have simply no idea about it, I just know that it is a different thing. Cheers^^
The digital circus reminds me of the times i have spent in a mental hospital. every one has their own mental issues, and are all put in the same place to try to recover their own issues but to navigate the intense issues of the others in there as well. and more often than not. the so called staff are dealing with their own issues and really cant help or at least not harm. Kinger reminds me of a guy i met in one stay. when he was on his meds, he was stable, rational, wise. but he had the wild crazy moments and you can identify with the stable version of them un able to control the crazy parts.
I would find it really interesting, personally, if maybe all the members of the circus were in some way connected to the circus’ development. There’s only any actual proof for Pomni and Kinger so far, with Pomni’s reaction to the computer in episode 1 and Kinger mentioning his “seven years of computer science” in this episode.
Yeah, I'm pretty certain Queenie and Kinger were lead developers, and were the first to be trapped while bug testing (implied by the references to insects). Since they were the lead devs, nobody else knew the system well enough to get them out. This is supported by how simplistic both their models are compared to what came later. Kinger has basically no moving parts, just eyes and hands for VR tracking. This is because he was using an easy-to-simulate placeholder model intended to test basic functionality.
honestly Caine just feels just as trapped a anyone their, sure he has more power to play with but in the end its just a pointless simulation and he was most likely trapped far longer then them
My understanding of the memory thing is that everyone forgets their names when they arrive, but nothing else. They still remember everything about their previous lives, they just haven't talked about them much in the two days since Pomni arrived. Examples: Kinger remembers being a computer programmer, Queenie remembered her love for entomology, Pomni remembers her feelings about horror and jumpscares Beyond the name thing, Kinger is the only one with any actual memory issues, but being in the dark helps him to think and remember things more clearly because of its association with his last memory with his wife
Kinger gives me Grandpaw vibes. He’s been there the longest, he forgets things easily, and he’s always got your back like when he jumped into a monster’s mouth just to get Gangle’s mask back, and when he comforted Pompey.
I am a straight male who's turning 50 in January! The early 90's was high school for me and I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area! I grew up with people just coming to terms with all the things that are taken for granted now! (the Entire LGBT+ and everything to do with it) And I have to say seeing a cartoon thing that has people in it who might be going through what p[eople did go through is amazing!
This episode really hammers home that Caine isn't really a bad guy and genuinely wants to help the circus members, but as an AI he is incapable of understanding the harm that he causes his guests. So when he says "I do not use my adventures to torment my guests" he's kind of right (at least intentionally).
"Theoretical Children" I think your idea holds merit here, but it struck me more as how an AI might fumble creating a back story, not able to understand what a cliché is. Much of the adventures have this "Made by an AI" who puts this uncanny valley on everything made. Also, the pilot. We saw a building with "C and A". I think Cain might have done away with Able. I think Able was suppose to deal with the mental issues, and maybe was successful. And then people would leave which Cain couldn't take? Or maybe Able did their job but Cain couldn't and didn't like the programmers (god) preferring Able over him?
Just a little detail I find amusing. Caine: And for the first time ever you can- *Later* Kinger after entering the "matoor" door: Saying "Hell" and "damn", and shooting a gun without any sign of censorship.
So I don’t if there’s any theories to this or not. But Kinger does call the Monster who screams at them “honey” later we learn that his wife abstracted could it just be ptsd brought from that event? But it is curious to me that he seems to call the monster something sweet.
It opens its mouth and its filled with eyes in a black void. His wife abstracted and turned into a black, shapeless creature covered in eyes. It's a pretty direct parallel.
I took the "theoretical children" lien to be Caine's oversites with making these Adventures, he didn't actually add in any children to the program, just the hypothetical idea that there might have been some.
I love your reaction and the direction of where this series is going. I think since with the theme of mental health and awareness being a main stay, I think the way Pomni and the gang will finally get out of the circus is by developing health coping mechanisms. Since with the stress and danger of Caines adventures leading to more harm than good most of the time, something fundamental will have to change. Either with Caine or with them. Though I think each adventure we seen was supposed to give them a deeper lesson. The Gloinks wanted them to work together to gather them up. The Candyland episode had them return something to the outwardly “good” people. And this one I think was to deal with facing the past. As each area deals with both the pasts of the ghosts, and Kinger and Pomni having to face the trauma of their time in the circus.
Kinger's line "7 Years of Computer Science for this" implies that he went to college for Computer Science for 7 years, probably for his bachelor's and master's degrees. His sane personality is probably his natural self, not to do with anything being a therapist.
To add on to the mental disorder help theory. I think the game was meant to help people with mental disorders, but the code did the opposite and basically amplified their disorders. For example Zooble has body dysmorphia, why would a game meant to help with ones issues make that certain issue way worse? Also, this leads me to another point, abstraction might be a way of showing that a person has over come their issue. Theoretical children, maybe his wife was pregnant. Kinger said 7 years of computer science, he definitely wasn't a therapist. At this point it sounds like he was a tester for this and the test went extremely wrong, thus all this happened. The person that tied Jax was definitely the ghost having tea with them.
This is just a smaller detail I noticed but we all know that Kinger said "7 years of computer science for this huh". And how he said he used to hate bugs. There might be more to it. He might actually have been a programmer at the company which made this software then, possibly a bug tester who got trapped. Heck the abstraction in itself might be a software bug. Thats just my take though, its a bit abstract but I have a feeling it might be relevant. It could be that this is just some old freak software that this company has had around, which Kinger may have worked on as a bug tester, and which everyone else (who I assume might just be newer employees) might just have checked out for curiositys sake on their systems and get trapped inside it in the process.
He was PROBABLY the lead developer, as 7 years of experience is considered the minimum requirement for such a position in the game industry. Also, it'd add extra meaning to when he says "I sent us down this path, didn't I?"
@@PotatoPatatoVonSpudsworth Honestly very good theory too. Would also explain how hes the king piece in a game of chess. Like hes the very top and if the king falls, its game over.
A theory i have seen coming from this episode is that Kingler was part of making the game/virtual world they are stuck in. And i honestly belive it The thing i seen people mention for this theory is. 1.him having been there the longest. 2. The bug thing, while it was revailed to be do to his wife being and entomologiest. It can have the double meaning with computer bugs. 3. The "7 years of computer science for this" line
My theory is that the digital circus was made designed to be a completely immersive experience for children, with caine as an AI programmed to entertain children, but for some reason, people that are not children are being traped permanently in the circus, and caine's AI is buckleing under the pressure at not understanding what to do, as it fails to entertain adults and not being dessign to entertain for so long. Also caine's personality and style of humor as kinda "darkly-cheerful" could be interpreted as him trying to balance what he has learned with what he was programed for
Actually zooble keeps telling cain to “forget it” and cain is a AI so zooble gave him a command and he’s fallowing it they’re literally telling him to forget the entire conversation
i am so scared for kinger. y'all remember what happened with gummigoo? the show lets us have this quiet, calm moment where we can get properly attached to a character, and then BAM, instantly dead (or, i guess in kinger's case, abstracted).
I remain VERY certain that Queenie's love of "insects" actually came from her being a bug tester. She and Kinger went in together to test out the Circus, and became the first to be trapped. Since they were the lead developers (7 years of CS experience is usually the minimum requirement for that role) nobody else knew the system well enough to get them out. This is supported by how simplistic both their models are compared to what came later. Kinger has basically no moving parts, just eyes and hands for VR tracking.
I think this episode especially sets up some death flags for Jax. Kinger places a lot of emphasis on other people in how you survive in the circus, and a lot of the episodes have put a lot of weight on the fact that the other characters do not like him. The scene of him skipping Kaufmo's funeral, the fact that Pomni doesn't imagine him grabbing her hand at the end of episode one, and now his dismissal of Kinger at the end of this episode. I think that if any of the main cast abstracts then it might be him. Also, I really hope we get a full Zooble focused A plot sometime soon. I love them so much, and this little taste of their transness was so good I just want more.
1. I'm watching this reaction not to reveal the King or to reveal Zooble's problems but to react to Pomni: *carefully tries to take the shotgun* Please don't come back to life 😢 Dead body: Okay, I won't 😊 Postscript: I'm lying of course, but it's still a hilarious moment. 2. By the way, over the course of three episodes, Zooble's body figures changed and this really proves that she tried to find other parts that she would be comfortable with. 3. And the King behaved like a real loving father who wants to support his child and help him, let's say, in a psychologically difficult situation and honestly I will be just furious if after some time they will be shipped, well because I don’t accept them as a couple at all, but more as a loving father and daughter(even though it sounds strange) 4. Bubbles roughly said backwards, "I can't wait for our kid audience to start having nightmares because of the monster." 5. When Pomni was possessed by some soul, it seemed to me that her eyes in some way referred to Sin from Killer Drones 6. To be honest, I don't really understand how this series could "end" on the path of a pacifist(This means that you don't have to kill anyone or just make friends with everyone) if initially Jax sucked a little ghost into a vacuum cleaner, we weren't even shown that he was released
Game thoery theorized that Jax is an NPC. But honestly I think Raggitha is. Her reactions to emotional situations seems to.. scripted? Yet she seems lost at the same time. It just sets off alarms in my head. But thats just my tin foil hat theory.
I'm not a member of trans community but I do identify as agender. And I can tell you, body dis morphia can happen to any individual, regardless of gender/identity. Because it simply means having issues with how you see your body. Amputees can have it due to not liking their missing limbs. A nonbinary person (like Zooble) can have it because of seeing something about their body they don't identify with. Me? I'm agender which just means I don't really associate to one gender or the other. I just feel like me. Not really a man or woman. Some days, I hate my feminine features because they feel so strong and like that's all people can see about me. Other days, I don't really care. Some days it's top dis morphia and other days, it's bottom dismorphia and I do what I can to feel like myself each day it happens.
This episode is definitely my favorite so far. We get an interesting and heartfelt moment between Pomni and Kinger. Caine and Zooble therapy session was also interesting And also Jax got tied up 😂 Also the monster was terrifying 😮😮
I feel like the "Zooble turns straight" line is a mild jest towards Ashley Nichols being Pansexual, not to mention their comment about their appearance also being a possible reference to Ashley coming out as non-binary
After all the eye imagery and mention of angels, then being shown abstracted Queenie with all the eyes, I got the sudden vibe of the series Lost and am now wondering if maybe the circus is an end-of-life (or even an assisted end-of-life) service that offers people some "peaceful" passage while allowing them to come to terms with their passing. Their souls are what have been uploaded into the circus. Caine's games are just supposed to be fun pastimes while they work on "crossing over". Maybe then abstraction isn't really a bad thing, but rather an indication that the person has moved on (though I'm not sure why abstracted Kaufmo was so violent while Queenie was docile...). Perhaps the abstracted people being on "the other side" is what causes the strange glitching when they touch someone who hasn't abstracted yet. Kinger and Queenie could have been a couple that wanted to pass away together, but for some reason, Kinger hasn't gone yet. He gave me more fatherly vibes than therapist vibes in this episode, which would track if he had kids, or even grandkids. Food for thought.
hey lass, have ya seen the 2014 animated film Song of the Sea???? its really heart warming and beautifuly animated. in fact id say everything from that animation studio has been wonderful.
I think you missed something a lot of other people also seem to miss
Caine doesn't "forget" Zooble's issues on his own. He follows their request to "forget it" to the letter
Zooble: "Forget it"
Caine: "Forget it?"
Zooble: just... Forget it"
Caine, suddenly no longer remembering:"forget what?"
Right? Why do none of the reactors I watch seem capable of noticing this, it's done so intentionally😅
Caine is quite literally "forgetting it" as requested, but Tbf a lot of times that particular setup is used to emphasize that the person is not listening at all; it's very rarely literal.
Incorrect. Caine himself says that the reason he forgot is because he believes Zooble’s problem is already solved.
I noticed.
@@caldercockatoo2234 I mean it could be both.
I'd also point out that in episode 1, when they're in the Gloink Queen's lair, he stares up at her and mutters, "Bug Collection?"
@@meistermiller he also mentioned "insect collection" when we see him came out of his pillow fort for the first time.
Also, during the funeral, he is able to remember kaufmo because he is closing his eyes
yeah i was surprised nobody else noticed how his voice sounded more mellow when the bucket was on his head :0
I also find it interesting that while he and his wife thrived in Darkness, he glows like the sun.
Zooble told Caine to forget it, and he did.
This might have started in the 90s but years have passed and a lot of these people have been trapped for a long long time. the office with the headset we saw in the first episode looked very old and abandoned. it had the logo, C&A which most people are guessing stands for "Caine and Able."
I think none of people are mentally well, but it's more because they're stuck there and it's fraying their sanity and they've each developed their own unhealthy coping mechanisms.
You put into words my thoughts on the series so far. Well said!
Or me who hates being short
Yeah, that was some brilliant foreshadowing that I hadn't picked up on until rewatching.
Someone said that maybe when Jax holds his breath, he would turn fluffy as a bunny and I just can't stop thinking about it
the reason Caine is forgetting is because Zooble quite literally says "forget It" to him, so He does everytime
Also speaking of Zooble, It is Body dysmorphia but because of the Circus as Zooble says "I hate all these removeable parts"
@@WeeLassReactsI get that. I was talking about people watching the show in general, not you specifically. You still nailed the parts you did mention.
Some have claimed his name stands for Circus Artificial Intelligence NEtwork.
I saw Elijah’s video yesterday, and I knew you wouldn’t be far behind!
7:16 I just realiced something. Kinger said that he's able to remember things and being more coherent when he's on the dark, so when he said "I'm starting to think" it's because his mind is starting to be "normal" again 'cause he's on the dark? And he just tell Pomni about it?
It's also probably why has his pillow fort that he immediately returns to when he gets back.
I think he just start thinking and he is currently thinking
In the Polish dub, Caine calls them 'skibidi sigmas'.
Why is that funnier 😭
That's funnier to me cause I would've had the same reaction as Jax💀
21:27 In the Spanish dub, he calls them "milking furries", and in the Polish dub, "skibidi sigmas" 😂😂😂
I just put it down to his dialogue being written by Caine.
it could also just be a joke
@@lazulazu2467| Yeah it's 100% a gag
THIS EPISODE WAS AMAZING
YEAH IT WAS!!! :D
Agreed 🙏😜
I just need a nickel for every time Mosco said “Mental health” in this recording.
@@FirestoneX to simply explain, Zoobles body looks like a Picasso, doesnt look human and doesnt look remotely normal like the others.
I still like the think that he’s Abel
That'd certainly explain why he's so antagonistic: he's just fulfilling the role he was programmed for.
HOWEVER! I'm not quite sure that's the case, because Caine specifically said he was testing out a new AI in the last one, implying that previous NPCs weren't capable of sentience.
one thing i noticed is that pomni's eye's when she gets posessed kind of resemble CYN's eye's from murder drones. its a cute little call-out since glitch made both show's.
15:20 After seven years of computer science, it's fitting that Kinger is pretty good at troubleshooting.
Kinger behaves just like a caring father. It's adorable❤️
That face scared the crap out of me and I'm 40.
Kinger was definitely the highlight of the episode! 💜🧡💚
He was so brave, protectively, kind, and wise to Pomni, I loved their interaction so much! It was so sweet! He’s one of my favorite characters! Zooble was also so interesting and sympathetic. I relate to her so much due to her body dysphoria, I love her🥹
🎃💀👻 this episode was so terrifyingly good!
I knew Kinger was my favourite for a reason
Mainly because of the angst, and also the fact he's crazy. Bros just like me frr
I know it’s seemingly a joke but I realized when Kinger said “I’m starting to think.” after being put in adventure, it was actually foreshadowing the darker lighting allowing him to actually think properly again (even if it still takes a while before he’s able to fully able to become more rational.)
Noone talks about the fact that Zooble created a paradox in Caines mind
'You siggest that i am bad at the ONLY thing I am good at'
The monster body reminded me of Pale man from Pan's Labrynth.
I'd love to see you or Elijah react to that movie if you get the chance.
I think they were all tricked into putting on the headsets.
Zooble arrived a little bit before Pomni
The way Pomni said, "Of course im in Hell, HE just wants me to suffer" makes me think she was talking about the "big boss" outside the circus 🤔🤔🤔
I also think that's why Kinger stays in his pillow fort. Because it's dark an it makes him think of his wife.
honestly Caine just feels just as trapped a anyone their, sure he has more power to play with but in the end its just a pointless simulation and he was most likely trapped far longer then them
My understanding of the memory thing is that everyone forgets their names when they arrive, but nothing else. They still remember everything about their previous lives, they just haven't talked about them much in the two days since Pomni arrived. Examples: Kinger remembers being a computer programmer, Queenie remembered her love for entomology, Pomni remembers her feelings about horror and jumpscares
Beyond the name thing, Kinger is the only one with any actual memory issues, but being in the dark helps him to think and remember things more clearly because of its association with his last memory with his wife
9:04 I love that in spanish says here: "Sorry could you repeat that again? I don't speak Lovecraftian" 😂
Kinger gives me Grandpaw vibes. He’s been there the longest, he forgets things easily, and he’s always got your back like when he jumped into a monster’s mouth just to get Gangle’s mask back, and when he comforted Pompey.
I love your theories, Mosco. Keeping going with them.
I am a straight male who's turning 50 in January! The early 90's was high school for me and I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area! I grew up with people just coming to terms with all the things that are taken for granted now! (the Entire LGBT+ and everything to do with it) And I have to say seeing a cartoon thing that has people in it who might be going through what p[eople did go through is amazing!
i like your theorys its its an interesting idea and I can see it lining up with the show
This episode really hammers home that Caine isn't really a bad guy and genuinely wants to help the circus members, but as an AI he is incapable of understanding the harm that he causes his guests. So when he says "I do not use my adventures to torment my guests" he's kind of right (at least intentionally).
LOVED this episode!
Poor kinger 🥺😭❤💔❤️🩹
"Theoretical Children" I think your idea holds merit here, but it struck me more as how an AI might fumble creating a back story, not able to understand what a cliché is. Much of the adventures have this "Made by an AI" who puts this uncanny valley on everything made.
Also, the pilot. We saw a building with "C and A". I think Cain might have done away with Able. I think Able was suppose to deal with the mental issues, and maybe was successful. And then people would leave which Cain couldn't take? Or maybe Able did their job but Cain couldn't and didn't like the programmers (god) preferring Able over him?
Zooble keeps telling Cane to "forget it" and being an AI, he takes that literally and forgets everything they just told him
I don’t know why but when pomni got possessed I fully expected her “to say get snuck upon”
I love how we got more with Zooble's character. Her body dysmorphia but was really relatable:(
The tie back to the first episode when Kinger was asking about insect collections hits harder now.
I just like how it shows sometimes being in the dark helps you think clearly
Just a little detail I find amusing.
Caine: And for the first time ever you can-
*Later*
Kinger after entering the "matoor" door: Saying "Hell" and "damn", and shooting a gun without any sign of censorship.
Kinger is a legend
In this episode of Mental Health Issues Circus, Kinger explains he has Alzheimer's, and becomes the best character in the whole show.😂
So I don’t if there’s any theories to this or not.
@@dragonix8527 that’s what I was thinking as well I just haven’t seen much people talking about it.
Thanks for the premiere Mosco!
Oh yes. An Amazing Digital Circus Halloween Special. How can it possibly be anymore than just basic jumpscares for this “Matuure” audience.
That one friend says " my dog doesn't bite " the dog: 8:46
Love that fizzy and Ozzie shirt so very detail and background color is perfect where u get?
IT/ Pennywise vibes with the monster creature
Great reaction!
And i honestly belive it
The thing i seen people mention for this theory is.
9:33
potential Snapcube reference from Sonic Adventure Fandub "Dark Story"
going uuuuuppp (proceeds to go down)
Remember you don’t need to be a therapist to understand someone and comfort them.
1. I'm watching this reaction not to reveal the King or to reveal Zooble's problems but to react to
Pomni: *carefully tries to take the shotgun* Please don't come back to life 😢
Dead body: Okay, I won't 😊
Postscript: I'm lying of course, but it's still a hilarious moment.
2. By the way, over the course of three episodes, Zooble's body figures changed and this really proves that she tried to find other parts that she would be comfortable with.
3. And the King behaved like a real loving father who wants to support his child and help him, let's say, in a psychologically difficult situation and honestly I will be just furious if after some time they will be shipped, well because I don’t accept them as a couple at all, but more as a loving father and daughter(even though it sounds strange)
4. Bubbles roughly said backwards, "I can't wait for our kid audience to start having nightmares because of the monster."
5. When Pomni was possessed by some soul, it seemed to me that her eyes in some way referred to Sin from Killer Drones
Is it weird that I want future episodes have the other characters meet this side of Kinger. Imagine Jax's reaction
This episode is definitely my favorite so far. We get an interesting and heartfelt moment between Pomni and Kinger.
Caine and Zooble therapy session was also interesting
And also Jax got tied up 😂
Also the monster was terrifying 😮😮
I feel like the "Zooble turns straight" line is a mild jest towards Ashley Nichols being Pansexual, not to mention their comment about their appearance also being a possible reference to Ashley coming out as non-binary
Not gonna lie when the body said ‘ok I won’t’ was ‘ummm….thank you’
poor gangle, I swear if Gangle ever abstracts it's 100% Jax fault
I have had a theory that when they abstract they actually escape and the corruption only happens to the player model
Rizzgatha strikes again, this time with the pretty ghost
I think Jack is A MPC and that he's snuck into the circus. And that's why he can only talk to us why the others can't😱
hey lass, have ya seen the 2014 animated film Song of the Sea???? its really heart warming and beautifuly animated. in fact id say everything from that animation studio has been wonderful.
11:00 Zooble abd Kinger maybe since then. But now events and the Pomni getting most likely occurs in modern time
