- Easy grilled Chicken Sandwiches on the Weber Go Anywhere
There is nothing better than a good grilled chicken sandwich. Tonight, we made a tasty and simple grilled chicken sandwich using just a few simple ingredients. We used boneless skinless chicken thighs, liberally rubbed with Weber’s Beer Can Chicken rub, grilled to perfection on the Weber Go Anywhere, and topped off with Provolone cheese and bread and butter pickles.
• We set the grill up and got her hot.
• Liberally rubbed the chicken with Weber’s Beer Can Chicken rub.
• We grilled the chicken to a perfect doneness of 165 degrees F.
• Put a slice of Provolone cheese over the hot chicken.
• Butter your bun and place it on the grill.
• Close the lid and let the bun toast and the provolone cheese melt.
• Remove the bun and place a piece of chicken in it.
• Now add your favorite Grilled Chicken Sandwich toppings. I used Bread and Butter pickles.
• Serve your Easy grilled Chicken Sandwiches with Pirate baked beans and some good kettle chips.
What a great looking sandwich. I'm looking forward to foing some for my family in Tennessee.
I can guarantee that those bad dogs will be off the chart good. Thanks for subscribing. I'll have a new video out after next weekend. I tried to make one this weekend, but technology got the best of it. LOL.
This whole video is just so relaxing. Sometimes people are anxious when doing cooking demonstrations and that gets transferred to the audience. Not you. Just a casual day out on the grill. Thanks. I had this grill when it came with those stainless steel grates and they called it the smoke and go out something. Cooked better than grills costing 5 times as much.
Thank you very much. I do remember that grill, my dad had one. It was a great grill.
Great video I just ordered one of these today and I can't wait to use it!! Keep up the great work!!
You are going to love it. Take your time seasoning it and don't over think it. It's all about fun.
Just stumbled upon your channel. Subscribed instantly. Great videos, well done and relaxing to watch. I’m on the fence on buying one of the Weber Go-Anywhere gas grills but after watching this I just may pull the trigger! Looking forward to watching all of your other videos. Thanks for putting in the effort for the rest of us. Much respect.
Thank you for watching. I love this little grill. I've taken it to work to do lunches. It's great at the campsite or tailgates too. Quick to heat up, and quick to cool off too.
That grill is also awesome for apartment living!
I never thought of apartment living. That would be perfect for that.
Thank you for posting this. My wife and I are RVing for the first time tomorrow and I picked this grill up and you just showed me how to use it. I appreciate it!
I'm glad you liked my video. I hope your RVing goes great. Thanks for the comment.
Love this video. Thanks mate
Thank you for watching.
Great Job Mark ... You've got these videos down to a science! I just ate a pretty large lunch, and you've made me hungry all over again ... haha!!!
HaHa. That cracked me up. Thanks.
Mark, I am going to keep watching your videos, so keep them coming !!!
Thanks. I'll keep on going.
Just subscribed…I’ve watched more bbq videos than I can remember, but yours is top drawer. You’re a natural presenter, and I love the way you just kick around outside the front of your garage 😂 Best regards from the UK
Thanks for subscribing, and the VERY kind words. My garage is kind of the gathering spot for the neighbors. When I fire up the grill they all kind of slowly gather and we have a good time. Unless it's cold out, then you never see them. LOL.
Nice easy grilled chicken sandwich Mark! I’m with you on provolone, it’s so good. Awesome job brother and hope you have a great Memorial Day!
Thank you very much. You know me, it's all about easy. LOL. Take care.
I seem to always want Chik-Fil-A on a Sunday. You knocked that sandwich out of the park! Great video pal. I am writing this while on my way to pick up the go anywhere grill.
Thanks for the kind words. You will love that grill. When I'm done grilling I give the grill top quickly and then toss it in the dishwasher when we get home. It's awesome.
Nice shirt! Those sandwiches looked great! I love toasting buns on the grill after I’ve cooked something. The Tarzan call you’ve been using when you bite into the food is cool!
Thanks. I'm seriously having a blast doing these.
Nice video, I got one today too. Loving it so far!
Greetings from Germany
Outstanding. It's a versatile little grill.
I love a good sandwich! Especially with cheese!
Thanks for watching. I'm asked to make this all the time. Swiss also goes great with this. By the way, I just watched your cinnamon loaf video, and am a subscriber. Great recipe!!! Just a heads up, you may see that on the grill sometime this fall.
Looks dang good!
Thanks. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
Great video I have the same grill only it’s the charcoal! Best Dang portables! This one does look interesting! The only concern I have is it appears to be more difficult to indirect! Also gloves with chicken good!! Pulling off one glove and using the other gloved hand to reach for seasoning kinda defeats the purpose now your seasoning container contaminated! Just my 2 cents worth! Other than that I am looking a lil more closely at this gas grill although nothing I mean nothing beats charcoal! Enjoy and stay safe
There's no way to grill indirect with the propane version of this grill.
I always wipe everything I might have touched with Clorox wipes before I put it away, but that's no excuse to not have the lid opened before I started.
Everyone Can Grill
I was confident of that it just didn’t get into video!! Have a great day and stay safe
I put some mayonnaise & place the pickles on the bottom. I'm Gonna make this sandwich this weekend.
Thanks for subscribing to my channel
The last time I mad this I put mayo on the buns and toasted them that way. It toasted them better than I've ever had buns toast before. I also like to give the bottom bun just a splash of Franks. .
God those look good
Thanks.
Love the video. I have the old version of this grill. Does the new version give a smoke flavor? Does it also blow out in the wind? I wouldn't mind an upgrade.
Thanks for the kind words. As for the smoke flavor, no. It's just like your home propane grill. With that being said, I have put a chunk of Oak on my grill grate and waited for it to start to smoke. I'm not sure if it made a difference or not, but it made me feel good. LOL. I have only had it blow out once, and it was VERY windy. Since then I put my cooler in the path of the wind as a wind break. All in all it's a powerhouse of a little grill.
Not sure if I like that new grate, might be tough for fish.
When you spray with Pam before cooking, does everything slide off of that grate?
It does fish well. I don't have a problem with anything sliding off, but I also don't have a problem with anything sticking. I also after a camping trip I pull the starter and burner off of it, and scrape out the nasty stuff, then just put the parts in the dishwasher. I love this little guy.
@@PapaMark thank you
You are welcome and enjoy.
Thanks mate great video going to order one, do you take the reg off every time
Thanks for the kind words.
I do take the regulator off every time. I put it in the bag and put the bag with the propane tank and screwdriver. That way it doesn't get banged around when I'm camping. That bag fits inside the grill so everything is where it always is. If that makes sense. When I take it camping it get's a lot of use, so when we are leaving I wrap the bag in aluminum foil so it doesn't get all nasty. LOL. Then when I come home I take the whole grill apart (only takes about a long draw on a beer to do this) I scrape the inside out with a plastic spatula, and toss it all in the dishwasher. The bottom and grate go in the bottom rack and the tip goes in the top rack. Then it's clean as a pin the next time I pull it out.
I'm doing some Pizza burgers on it this week and I'll talk about how I take care of it in that video.
@@PapaMark thank you for such a fantastic reply ! I live in Australia can’t buy the gas version here ( but I can order it from NZ) I leave my Weber q in my car all the time, wanting to remove it and use something smaller, these look perfect I have a ga charcoal love it but a pain to use for a quick cook up, I can’t wait to see that video I’m subbed up , great content mate
You're going to like it so much better than lugging that Q around with you. My dad had a charcoal one and I thought it was nice, but not for those quick grill and go's that I want a portable grill to be. This little guy works great for that, by the time you're done eating it's cooled down and ready to go.
@@PapaMark order it today yay! How long do you think your gas canisters last? Thank you
About an hour and a quarter on high.
Can I use the grate that comes with the propane version on the charcoal version?
I'm not sure. I never had the charcoal version. Sorry about that.

I'm debating between the Gas & Charcoal Webber Go Anywhere Gills.
They both have their pro's & con's.
For camping or tailgating I feel the propane checks the most important box. That's how fast it cools off when you shut it down. I have a Smokey Joe that I love too, but I like how fast I can clean up with the gas go anywhere. Just a thought.
