- 1991 Weber Go Anywhere - Johnsonville Beer Brats
In this video I fire up a new grill! Thats right this 1991 Weber Go Anywhere that I found new in box is grill number 18 for me! What better way to break it in then to grill up some Johnsonville Beer Brats! Truth be told this really isn't a instructional video but it's a video to show me cooking dinner on a 30 year old grill and trying to get the one and only Tom Horsman or Dad jealous of my new find! If you watch this video and are subscribed to him make sure to comment on his Weber Go Anywhere Video saying how much cooler my grill is compared to his! Have a great week everybody! 🍻
DUDE YOU LOOK LIKE LORENZO JOVANOTTI PLEASE GO CHECK HIM
Lolol I kinda see it
Just thrifted the gas one with wood handles. It was hardly used. How do you find out when it was made? Nice table too. Got my eye out on one of those now.
There should be a letter code stamped on the top vents.
I too just found one of these wooden handles propane webers at a local thrift store for $10 . It has never been used .I figured it was old-school when all the reviews I found were with the new porcelain grill grates (mine is chrome grates).
They don't make that table anymore???!!!
To my knowledge it is discontinued.
I have about 3 unused ones besides the used ones. One other is in the original box. About 5 are wood handled ones. My othe 5 or so are gas models.
Lucky!!!!!!!!!! Find
Ya thank you! I was stoked to find it!
Our table legs are on backwards
Dang, you sound like your dad.
Great video. I had a Go Anywhere but must have given it away because it is nowhere to be found. There's a company in New Zealand that makes some interesting accessories for it, including a box to raise up the grill grate and a deflector so you can smoke with it.
Thanks! And that sounds awesome!
Funny story about that table. That’s exactly how I found mine. Sitting at Ace for I swear years. Dusty as hell. I finally put it out of its misery. Didn’t know I’d love it that much. Use it for my jumbo joe and 14” wsm. Also my 17” blackstone.
Haha heck ya!! I love my tables as well!! So versatile and they work so good for the smaller kettles!
Love that table (although a tad small and not space optimized but heat-proof and has a lock, I have to hold mine so it won't move ;) Your vents are circular , mine are more oval (newer), love those handles. Weber could go the xtra mile with these but there's a lot of home mods instead
Ya small but I think it’s one of the coolest accessories Weber makes. And agreed. So many mods.
That’s a really cool grill Brian! Great find. Brats looked delicious! Even mini horse wanted some! Cheers!
Thanks Jay! Happy to see your comment stayed on this week. And he actually at a whole brat after I was done with the video!
Great li’l grillio! That was a great find and good buy Madhorse! Brats looked great too!🤠
Thanks Tony! I love old Weber’s!
Congrats to the find! Have you already oiled your handles? Any specific care instructions?
Thanks! And I did oil them. I used a butcher block oil.
Those are good little cookers! I have an E code, that I also picked up for $25. I wish I had one of those tables, those are nice.
Heck ya agreed and nice! I love the table! I actually have 2 of them!
Very cool CGA you've got there! I've got an 80s model I've yet to cook on, but plan to very soon. Old Webers are just the stuff. Thanks for sharing your brat method!
Thank you and That’s awesome! I really wish I could find one of the brown or red ones! 🍻🍻
Love these little grills. So convenient. My friend has a propane one that we use all the time for tailgating at Miller Park. We'll, not so much now...
Nice Mike! So do I!
Awesome find Mad horse your old man be jealous hahahas
Thanks! And haha ya let’s just say I’ll have to hide it when he comes to town!
Looking good...Just found my ga used. Cleaned her up and did a burn in last night. Looking at all the mods that folks do. Great video Mad horse
Hey thanks Wookie! And that awesome! For a little grill this thing can sure cook some meat!
@@MadHorseBBQ yeah man Ima trick it all out! Haha
I have the WGA, and love it. I added the wood handles and love little unit.
Awesome! These handles are in mint condition otherwise I would’ve replaced.
@@MadHorseBBQ Original makes it all the cooler. Enjoy
Dude i found the exact same grill with the wooden handles online but they want 125 pounds for it !! not the same as 20 bucks ! what a great find.
Did you buy it? And thanks! Old Weber’s in general are really neat!
@@MadHorseBBQ not yet , do you think i should vs a new one ? , in the uk they don't come with side handles..
@@eviloilman hmmm that’s up to you. If the old one is in good shape I’d get it lol
@@MadHorseBBQ yer man , they are pretty cool !
Did my comment get deleted?
What was your comment? I don’t remember deleting anything.
@@MadHorseBBQ I was just saying I found an older Go Anywhere grill on Facebook marketplace and how I wish I knew how old it was lol. I got the notification you responded, but now it's just gone. So weird!
@@StopWhatYerDoing ya wtf. I remember answering that. Do you have FB or IG?
@@MadHorseBBQ no, I try not to use social media very much. So is there just a letter that's supposed to be on the grill that tells you when it was made?
Just picked up the table at a rogue Ace Hardware store. Nicey!
That’s awesome! The tables are sweet!
