I'm in high school and I don't wanna go to college, I don't even know what I want to study and I feel like a college degree is worth nothing, or maybe it is worth something and that's the problem that companies value a degree more than actual knowledge.

There is a huge difference between being smart and having a good degree but if you really dont know what to do, studying and at least putting effort in something can be a lot beneficial. You would still have your whole life ahead of you to get to know yourself, but its better not to ruin your present just because you dont see a future. If you dont know what to study, just study what u think is the easiest for you, maybe you can even get a scholarship and save some money yet enjoy the 'college time'. you have just one life, dont waste it in worrying, you will eventually figure out where you belong.
I am the first person on my dads side to go to college, and I got into uni (we’re British). Neither of my parents got a education past high school, it’s a lot of pressure, but it’s worth it to make them proud 😂

I've heard several stories of students struggling at the most difficult school to enter with their grades and unfortunately committing suicide. They never vent their feelings outwards and let other people comfort them, nor get therapy; they're from Harvard!! They should have no weaknesses!!! Or at least, that's what they think about themselves and everyone around them. In reality, if a student is suffering from depression in Harvard, chances are that there's at least 4 other people at the moment experiencing the same feelings.
@@12.56AM I auditioned for the university theatre dept (not my major) and ended up in the show. I was just doing it for fun so yes extra work but no extra stress. It wasn't really competitive and I met people with similar interests. That made all the difference for me.

I audited a few classes at Harvard in like 2005, these student body attitudes are pretty spot on from my experience. Humble people who want to make an impact on the world, but also tons of students from wealthy New England families.

Latin American countries use latin@. I recommend using that instead of latinx. That term makes me cringe. My 8th grade history teacher graduated from Harvard! Can’t remember what she studied for but she was wealthy, always looked nice, was a perfectionist, and traveled to many different places. I especially remember her kindness and how she wanted to move to Japan when she retires
As an Ivy League grad myself; being on campus as a student was one of the most idyllic experiences. Being off campus and in the work place makes happiness a bigger challenge, however.

I’m a drop out from my diploma but it was my lowest point. I can’t say I’m happy but at least I am not constantly suicidal. Kinda nice to see that college is not miserable for everyone.
