I got ice and harpy wings as my first wings, you can get big harpy feather before hardmode (super easy to get)

The mothRon wings can be gotten pre golem and are the best pre golem (not including duke fishron) wings in the game and it’s not that rare of a drop, you can get it from mothron from lunar eclipse

​​​@@Lebonbonnn Either use the jump button or go into settings and go to controls (the joystick looking image) and click up to jump and select swipe. This will be a bit weird, but it's seriously helpful during bosses like duke or empress, pretty much everything in hardmode.
Also while you're in controls turn auto swing on!
At this point just explore everything in settings until you're satisfied with what you end up with.
