A yo mah Dude!!!! U r like da man fo-real! I waz thinkin I waz gonna need 2 go 2 the rear brake caliperz & do some kinda crazy complicated proceedurz, but u showed everybody that just the way it is with most thingz in life, lotz of timez wut we've been made 2 think & believe is so hard & that we will never be able 2 do, is in all actuallity, not that difficult at all, if u just take the time 2 find out how it is done, & then just go & do it! Thx a million timez ova mah brotha. Peace & much blessingz be unto u & urz. Peace.
@robertbabich: A Robert, after reading ur comment I'm gonna do a lil more research bcuz I believe that ur statement is in fact correct. Will get back with my findingz. Peace
That is not how you adjust the hand brake. All you did was adjust the slack in the cable. The handbrake adjusts automatically every time you use it. If your handbrake is not holding, you need to check the actuator levers on the rear calipers. If they are not moving back when the parking brake lever is released then you can try squirting some penetrating oil followed up by oil on the shaft of the worm screw (where it enters the caliper. if that doesn't free up the actuators, then you will need to rebuild or replace the rear calipers.
@@WilfredCruz So I just figured out what’s wrong with mine and apparently there are 2 E brake cables one on the Driver side and one on the passenger side. if one of them is broken and the other is still working that can cause this issue. I’m gonna replace the damaged cable on the passenger side and see if that fixes the issue.

Thanks brother
Your very welcome!
I have done this, but the brakes are not really doing anything, don't stop the car at all. I just changed the calipers too.
Did u ever figure out the issue. I m having the same problem.
@@miguelarreguin64 nope. The wire pulls and works as it should. But grabs very very little. Not enough to stop car in Neutral.

@@miguelarreguin64 that makes sense. In my case both sides are pulling the caliper fine. Just won't grab much.
I have the same problem I’m not going to fix it it’s old car 2013 more than 251K miles. Thank you for the video
