Show was great! My first large train show. Didn't see ya but we went same day lol. What a crowd. Loved seeing Ralph's trains models. They are worth every penny. Too rich for my blood after picking up a base3 at the show, but one day man, one day. Thanks for sharing the content!
My wife and I moved to the greater Charleston area five years ago. I still have great memories of going to the E with my family on various occasions. It's one of, if not, the biggest model RR shows of its kind in the country. We used to live in Amherst and Hadley. There's not much else to do around what used to be greater Springfield, but the Amherst RR Club always keeps the interest going and the fairgrounds alive in late January. Keep rollling guys.
That was my first time there and you're right, it is a great show and a must for a model train fan of any scale. Great recap of the show, amazing how much I missed after being there all day!
This show is the finest around. Great job on filming Brian...much appreciated. You gotta love Ralph's Trains. His prices are reasonable considering the detailed die cast manufacturers he works with. All top shelf. What did you think of the Atlas F40PH Maine Eastern ? Thanks 👍
Great job on filming. Personally, I want to see the vendors U can see the Layouts anytime, but the vendors /pricing What is much appreciated Thanks. Great job.
Magnificent catches of the model trains coming by and pass, I like it 5 stars. Thumbs up. Keep up the perfect work, my friend, I just liked and subbed your channel, Greetings from Portugal to the USA.
I last attended a meeting of the Amherst Model Railway Society in 1994 when it still convened in the Amherst Junior High School auditorium, and we all enjoyed slides regarding the last days of Pennsylvania RR traffic. My, how it has grown!
We call that big military tractor trailer a HET. Heavy Equipment Transporter. It's job is to haul tanks which is why it has that unique flatbed trailer.
I have never been to this meet and would be interested in attending in the future but 95 % of the video is on O Scale trains and the rest is very little HO scale with no N scale trains at all. Is this just a pre/post war/new O scale meet like York TCA ??
@@realtoytrains don't worry it's a common fault of a lot of train video, often to close, moving around, pull some of your video up on say a 45 inch TV and you will see how the movement comes across, just slow down scan then hold the frame and let the action happen, and pan out then hold again, people want to see and take in detail and prices of what you are filming, but to get the clear focus is the key, and massive shows of the biggest growth hobby when covic struck LOL

And to think... that all started out with a 4-hour display of models in a classroom at UMass Amherst in February, 1974. Bob Buck is smiling.
Thanks for giving American Flyer a look here.

💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂
you need to slow down the camera movement its seems always moving and not in focus
Well I do try my best, and I have received a lot of positive feedback, but I’m sorry that it didn’t look good for you.
