It was a great show this year. Glad I ran into you and Dave on Saturday. So many great layouts and friends this year... man..! If only the O deals were as good. Glad you enjoyed seeing it Nick!
Nick, I hope you grasp just how much you and the other channels have caused this wonderful resurgence of our hobby. I've been involved in HO and O gauge for more than 50 years and watched the decline with great sadness. It is very evident that your channels have caused a massive boost in interest in the hobby. Thank You so much. I'm going to copy as many of my favorites as I can.
Wow, just saw the Bristol S Scale layout! That was awesome! I really enjoy your videos! Thanks again for sharing the S Scale layouts and also the rest of the layouts! You do a really fantastic job with narration and editing! Chris, Cbtrainnut on UA-cam!
Really nice video Nick, Sorry I missed you and Dave at this show. It was a long 5 hour drive up for me and my wife. I did also spend some time visiting my Sister & her husband who live in nearby Worcester Mass. We barely made it thru the 4 buildings and picked up some nice items including the classic 1960-61 Red Security Car which I featured on my UA-cam channel today. Really did not get to look at all the layouts in all the building so I'm very glad that you filmed so many of them here. Hope you had a great time and got some rest after that really long round trip drive. Take care.
Thank you, Nick. That looked like a great show with incredible layouts. Thanks for taking the time to record and share what you saw so we could see it too.
Thanks for the post. That show started out in 1974 as a 4-hour static display of models from ARS members in a small room at U-Mass Amherst. My, how it has grown!
So cool to see at least part of the late Bill Boucher's "Royal S Circus" train on the Bristol Club layout! The train he created is very likely the finest S gauge circus train ever built.
Ello, I am part of the New Hampshire Garden Railway Society, I was running the MRL Fa-1 train, this is a very nice Walkthrough vid, keep up the good work!
@@NixCrossing It was a blast being at the show, it was my 1st time there, i loved seeing kids and adults faces light up when they saw our layout and trains, it was truly magical.
Hi Nick,hi Dave! It looks like you guys had an amazing time. How did this show compare to York? I have never been to Amherst. Lots of wonderful layouts, thanks for sharing Nick! See you soon!
Im glad that u had a great time at the show, it looks like a York show plus G, S, HO, N etc scale. MA is a little out f the way and to far for a day trip
When I was at the show I was talking to the operator of the g scale PRR coal train he told us it was over 11000 dollars invested into that specific train
Great video - but if you don't want to sound like you just got off the bus, you should know that the "h" in Amherst (when you mean the town in Massachusetts, not true of all the others) is silent.

Im glad that u had a great time at the show, it looks like a York show plus G, S, HO, N etc scale. MA is a little out f the way and to far for a day trip
Definitely a fun show and it’s very different from York. I think the O Scale hobby needs to get it together compared to the other scales at the show
Great video on channel on train show
Thanks for watching!
When I was at the show I was talking to the operator of the g scale PRR coal train he told us it was over 11000 dollars invested into that specific train
He was really nice to talk to and he fired them up right as we walked up. I was so impressed by how heavy that train was. Thanks for watching!
I'm planning on being at the great scale train show in Timonium Sat feb 1st with the National Capital Trackers
Very nice , can’t wait for that show
What happened to Monday run day ????????
I’ve been looking out for it 😂🚂
Great video - but if you don't want to sound like you just got off the bus, you should know that the "h" in Amherst (when you mean the town in Massachusetts, not true of all the others) is silent.
,if I knew you guys would be there I would have went there to meet
You guys I only live in New Hampshire
16:47 I'm not 100% positive but if it's the same guy I've seen before, all of those little PRR hoppers are 3d printed.
They are. 90 of them!
@@2railnation that is so awesome! The train was extremely heavy.
The European G guage train with the green engine is from the Swiss meter gauge Rhatische Bahn.
Interesting, I've only known about SBB. Very cool trains!
Very cool! Definitely thought it looked interesting. Thanks for watching!
Awsum video thanks for sharing
🚂🚃🚋🚃🚋🚃😎👍
We saw you there but did not get to talk to you 😊
Sorry it was a hectic day but we had a lot of fun. Thanks for watching!
did you catch the RCT&HS (Reading Lines) layout approx. 160ft long?
Not at this show, but I hope to film them at the Great Scale this weekend. I honestly ran out of time for the one day I was there
You’re that guy that Andrew wanted to meet you
I was only there for one day unfortunately
