Dinae be so hard on yourself Davy. You’re videos show what happens in real life not a fantasy land where you never miss. Great video Davy looking forward to seeing the next one ATB fur noo
Not to worry, you're not on your own there, though, those cartridges must be wild quiet, the cattle hardly moved and the pheasant on the lane wasn't to bothered with your shooting, another great video, thanks for sharing.
Hi young Irish man. That's a great video, sorry but me and the wife laughed a bit everytime you missed! We really injoy your video's here in New Zealand as my wifes Grand parent's were Irish. we really injoy your Irish accent, you need to include your wife's voice like you do on your airgun video's. Its a crack up. It's refreshing to see there's still people who don’t take themselves too seriously. Sorry about the Rugby a. 😮 Regards Rasta NZ
One good wind that Dave.. Dont get so disheartened..i think its your muffs in the way of your line😮Fantastic footage my friend 😊❤👌👌🇬🇧All the best mate for 2024 lolv, stay safe.
I can understand that though there is something addictive about it when your getting it right plus i tried the air rifle here at the start and wasn't getting enough numbers so the shotgun was the better tool for the job.
hi Davy. bit of advice i had the same problem with under and overs and side by side guns, best thing i ever did was borrow a berretta auto of a mate never looked back, point and pull game over. bought one the same week and never looked back.try and borrow one and give it a try they are brilliant. by the way i have had mine over 15 years and it never let me down. 😊
I have shot my fathers auto but never got on with it for some reason maybe because it feels lighter up front compared to an over and under but it would be worth having another go with it.
Well done Davy! I'm glad to see that it's just not me that doesn't shoot that great with a shotgun on occasion. Keep yer heed doon and swing thru min and you'll nail em! 😂😂😂 A lovely honest video once again. 👍
Get your gun fit checked. If you missed a static target then it would suggest that the gun isn't shooting where you're looking. Get a 12g lazer bore sight, mount the gun a few times against a flat surface 30m away and see if the lazer dot is sitting behind or just above the bead sight.
Great honesty video Davey and yes once you figure out a rhythm you will be surprised. By the way what size shot are you using? I personally use #6 or #8 in my 12 ga for pest birds. Cheers brother keep the videos coming
Missing to begin with and getting better is the opposite with my shotgun shooting, I often get the first and miss the rest! Good job we're better with the air rifle eh.
It was a most enjoyable video. You might benefit from one of these devices which projects a dot in front of the target like Geoff Garrod Gamekeeper uses on the shooting show on You Tube
@@NitroHV I’m like you mostly using a rifle in one form another everyday and I think this tends to initially resulting in poking until one can establish a rhythm. From humble observation you were mostly behind. Whatever, it’s great to see videos showing warts and all and I for one really enjoy these, but as a mostly high intensity centre fire user, I really like the .17 Hornet application.

Yeah they didn't seem too bothered about it thankfully but it did seem more echoey in person with that concrete wall behind me.
It's all good David what you showed us is reality really enjoyed it 👍 👌
Thank you.
Top man for showing us real life shooting, we’re not all super star shots out there and on occasions we have bad days 😆👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Very true thanks very much for that.

Thanks very much and i was thinking the same so bought a pair of Decibullz push in ones.
It still beats doing chores around the house.
Amen to that, or sitting at a computer editing.
Well done for sticking it out, it all seemed so familiar, l gave up shotguns after 10 years infrequent bird scaring! Just airguns now.
I can understand that though there is something addictive about it when your getting it right plus i tried the air rifle here at the start and wasn't getting enough numbers so the shotgun was the better tool for the job.
Great video. Windy day, so harder than normal
Thanks for watching.
Another great video, you show it like it really is for many of us. We are not all master shots. 😁
Thanks 👍

I think some have armoured feathers and even laugh a bit when flying off. Tricky to shoot cleanly.
When the birds suddenly curl backwards after the shot then yes too much leade....we all have off days 😉
Yeah that's what i was thinking too.
Well done Davy! I'm glad to see that it's just not me that doesn't shoot that great with a shotgun on occasion. Keep yer heed doon and swing thru min and you'll nail em! 😂😂😂 A lovely honest video once again. 👍

I don’t know what happened today, David, but you couldn’t hit a cows arse with a shovel!
Yeah and a snow shovel at that too.

That sounds like a very good idea thanks.
i enjoyed it very much. if its any consolation you done a lot better than i do.
Thanks for that.

Thanks very much for that.
Have you got the gun around the right way David 😂😂😂
I hope so as the other way is a bit sore on the ears.
there are good days and bad days in everything mate, just take it all in your stride and say it was a good day to be alive..
Thats a great way to look at it thanks.
Lovely stuff..👍
Thanks ✌️
Pain full to watch my friend 😢
It was painful to edit too.
At least you did the farmer a good turn,,,,,,as a bird scarer.😅😅😅😅
Yeap that's what i'm there for.
On a positive note!it wouldn't have taken you long to recover the bodies!😂😂
Thats true not like a few weeks ago but that video's for another day.

Very true. Thanks.

Thats true. thanks for watching.
Can you change the chokes on your shot gun
Yes i think im running cylinder and improved cylinder.
It was a most enjoyable video. You might benefit from one of these devices which projects a dot in front of the target like Geoff Garrod Gamekeeper uses on the shooting show on You Tube
I think i know what you mean, it might even help the shotgun feel more like shooting a rifle which might help.

Most of my days on Corvids are like this. Don't know what it is about the black devils. Good video though. Cheers
I think its their speed as some times they look as if their just hanging there in the wind yet other times they can come screaming in.
