Totally agree with everything said in this plant- my syngonium grows in just about anything and loves it all, like a weed, is my hardiest plant, etc. my albo loves intense light- the more light, the more white- and unlike many others that get all white leaves, when mine gets all white- they survive totally fine!
Thanks for this video! It was very straightforward and full of all the information I was looking for! I can’t wait to collect more syngonium variegations and watch them grow! Also, I thought it was pretty cool how you showed us that vine from one of yours - I’ve never seen one that long!
My leaves haven’t unfurled naturally since I got my cutting. The plant grows well. But I see no pests!! Do I do a complete reset? New soil, soak it in soapy water, mineral oil treatment etc?
Thanks for this video about syngoniums. I’m growing 4 of mine in leca and 2 in aroid mix. I mainly wanted to see which medium they prefer but you’ve just shown here that they don’t mind one way or the other.
Some of my syngoniums have leaves that won't unfurl, but I've extensivly searched and found no pests. Other than the pest possibily, any reasons why the leaves might not unfurl? Thanks : )
Awesome video. explain things right to the plane. It's not confusing. Thank you for all the knowledge that you put out there. It's very easy to learn what we need . I'm a overwater so I kill a lot of plants. Just being honest. So steps and the way you explain it was great thank you.
I’m so glad this was helpful!! Really appreciate the kind words! Syngonium love a bit more dry roots and they are quite resilient plants overall! Happy Growing 🌱🌱🌱
I took leaf node cuttings of my syngonium "Thai Pink Splash" and one of the cuttings grew into an all pink plant and looks like the variety "Pink Perfection". Has this happened in your collection?
I live near San Francisco. I leave my S podo albo outside year around in mostly shade and it does fine. Growth slows in winter with temps occasionally down to 40f. I think it would die in even slight frost.
I have a Syngonium, I have no idea which one, the leaves are a arrow shaped with solid soft pink on top with green undersides. Anyway the plant is sending out lots of new leaves but they are not unfolding. So you say in your video that this is a sign of pests. What pests am I looking\treating for. I do not see any mites or mite webbing. Nor can I see any other visible pests anywhere on the plant or top of the soil. So what is the most likely pests that I should be lookin and treating for?
Just discovered Pretty in Green and am learning so much. Your info is spot on and am considering the move to Leca due to you. My Syngoniums are doing OK; I keep losing my smaller plants to neglect but notice that they do much better when kept outside on my porch (I live in Los Angeles). Thanks for the knowledge, wisdom, and inspiration.
Hey! A fellow Angelo 🤗 Welcome to the channel! LECA is almost always a good choice for your aroids and other tropicals. I still use aroid mix for some things, but LECA almost always outpaces it 😅 Syngoniums thrive in it too!!
Great, clear presention, with useful information. I appreciate your concise approach with no annoying music. Well done.

I love them so much I have mine growing in a leca/pumice mix and they are doing very well!!
You have a beautiful selection of syngonium!
Love it, I am going to check my confetti plants for that pink you mention!

Glad it was helpful!
I have several varieties but struggle with my pink one (wasn't labeled). I put it outside for the summer and told it to live or die 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
They say to talk to your plants, so your ultimatum follows the rule. Well done.
Does it rot in complete water?
I just bought one at Lowe’s sold in a glass bowl with no soil. I transplanted IMMEDIATELY into soil.
how can i restore a reverting albo?
Thanks for sharing 🪴
Absolutely! Thanks for watching!
Mine keep dying...idk.
Syngonium? Check for pests. They are bulletproof
Overall a good video but a little conflicted on some points.
At times you didn't provide complete information. Thanks
Hmmm what was conflicting?
"actually"
