I have practiced a lot of Jack White / White Stripes songs. Many of these turn arounds you are showing us show up in his music and of course many other artists. My flying fingers have settled down, I had real trouble with the flying pinky especially with the slide on my ring finger but that is better now. Thanks for the gold mine of UA-cam, FGA and our private lessons that helped me out so very much.
@@winstonsyme5899 Winston, a very good point. You’ve got me thinking this morning 👍🏻 I think tasteful is just used less so we haven’t been overexposed to it. Tasty is over used and seems like a lazy, poorly thought out description. Tasty seems to be on repeat: tasty tasty tasty … Tasty is not tasteful when overused and becomes tasteless and then bland and boring. Tasty reminds me of being in a restaurant and when you place your order the response is “no problem”, we have all heard it and I hate to think my tasty meal is now “no problem” Well it shouldn’t be a problem and it’s overused. I think music is creative and tasty has become a lame lazy “go to” hipster word. Poor old “tasty” getting beat up on. Tasty can go join awesome. So what are some descriptive words we can use instead? I tend to use wicked as in wicked lick probably too much. Dirty lick? How about a salty sour lick? Fuzzy 👅 Dry Moist Bitter Ambitious Resentful Tired of tasty…
Your deep insight into various techniques along with the ability to explain and discuss that insight to is brilliant. I am loving your teaching !!!!
Wow, I love this channel. I can’t play worth a crap, can’t play the blues at all, but I’m trying. These basic concepts are fantastic. Thank you!
