@@joe-yuugen Wow Bonk's Adventure... Making these videos I'm finding out what an amazing console is PC Engine and I want to try a bunch of games, I'll have to use emulators...
As much as I loved Gate of Thunder and Air Zonk, the two best shmups on the Turbo Duo never left Japan. Those would be Gradius 2: Gofer no Yabou, and R-Type Complete CD
Yes, PC Engine was more successful in Japan than in the West. There is an anime (Hiscore girl) where the protagonist that lives in Japan owns a PC Engine (neither Sega nor Nintendo console)
@@MakaimuraKiu I first discovered Forgotten World in genesis time, but in early 2000, bought the arcade cabinet. The rotary joystick is something that consoles should have because they are so much fun to play with.
Modern gaming : WOKE, DEI, Anti-Cheat Root Kit, DLC, No Owndership, unstable FPS...
Retro gaming : perfection
Classic games in addition to fun, they bring back good memories.
I grew up with Air Zonk, Blazing Lazers, and Aero Blasters HuCards. They were hard to put down back in the day
Blazing Lazers was included with the console? It is a great shmup.
@MakaimuraKiu One of the best ever. Our first game was Bonk's Adventure. We got Blazing Lazers not long after

@MakaimuraKiu However we can enjoy the greatness of their time and self-preservation. It is a blessing to know it will be revered forever
@@joe-yuugen I agree with you. One of the reason I collect classic games is to keep the at the best condition possible through time.

My favorite on the PC-Engire are : Forgotten World and Lords of Thunder. But I never played a game on the PC-Engine that I did not like.
I played Forgotten World on Sega Genesis, really innovative shmup but super fun (even more 2 player)
