Hey @jacquelinejenkins8, thanks so much, 1st time getting a good garlic harvest. I love DIY projects, especially when it doesn't cost me $$$. Have a wonderful evening.
Wow what amazing plants to harvest 🥬🥬. I believe all brassicas are edible leaves stems and all 👍. I struggled with purple sprouting broccoli 🥦 but we can’t get it all perfect 😅. Some good roots on those garlic 🧄 😮. Looking fantastic and ready for summer. Happy gardening be blessed and safe, Ali 🌞🇨🇦
Hey Ali, thanks...I will try to cook the broccoli leaves, they remind me of collards leaves. At least I can get the leaves because it never produced purple broccoli. You are right, we can't get it all. Ali, those garlics are about a 95% improvement from my last year's harvest, learning as I go. I am so glad your weather has finally allowed you to be in your garden, I will be following along to see your beautiful garden. Enjoy your evening my friend.
Good Afternoon Ms Ursula, those Broccoli leaves will fill a Hot Pot just fine. My Wife and I are in the garden also. It is cooler than we’ve been having lately. We didn’t get major rain this morning because I had to water my tomatoes. Enjoy your time in your garden.
Hey @gtcoolbreeze100, thanks for the info, I plan on preparing them tomorrow. That rainwater makes such a difference, I look forward to it as well as cooler days. Have a wonderful evening.

Happy Monday, Auntie Ursula! ❤ That purple sprouting broccoli was bigger than you are, omgosh!!! 😂 That was a nice brassica harvest. 🥰🌱 All that garlic! 😍😍😍 I bought tons of garlic to plant last fall, but never got around to actually planting them. 😂 I’m gonna pop them in the ground anyway. Maybe the scent will confuse the pests around my other veggies. I tried overwintering my peppers but they died on me. 😅 Seeing yours, I’ll try it again this year. Nice blueberry protection cage!!! 🥰 I just up potted some of my blueberries and expect a nice crop this year, but am already thinking of how to protect that harvest because of how the birds stole them in previous years. 😂 Thx so much for another fun video! 💕
Hey Sox, thanks, I am honored to be your Auntie.❤ Yes, that plant was hugh, I hope the leaves are tasty since I didn't get broccoli from it. Drop your garlic, as long as it hasn't gone bad, it should still grow and it should deter bugs and pests. Those birds are relentless and very smart...They only want the ripe blueberries so try and protect them. Have a wonderful evening.
@@harveycontainergardener332 Thanks for the advice, Auntie! 🥰 I will prob plant out all my garlic this weekend. And my husband said he’ll work out something for our blueberries. Hugs and blessings to you and your fam! 💕
I was looking at my garlic that I planted back in November and I thought of you and your garlic that I saw in your previous video. As luck would have it, this video popped up in my feed and I was able to see you harvest your garlic. I think that I will harvest mine in a few days. I hope that my harvest is as bountiful as yours was. Thanks for sharing and let us know how the broccoli greens taste.
Hey @greerjones9791, thanks so much. I pray that your harvest is more bountiful and I'm glad you caught me harvesting some of mines. I will definitely let ya'll know if I will be planting more broccoli for the leaves, I hope to prepare my broccoli harvest this weekend. Happy gardening, have a wonderful evening.

Hi Ursula. I love it when we're planting and harvesting from the garden at the same time! I had a pretty good morning in mine today, till it got too hot. I've never grown broccoli, but I heard another gardener say they made cole slaw with the leaves and it was delicious.🥦🥦😋

I love them jalapeños I overwintered bell peppers I couldn’t bring in my banana pepper that was spicy. It was too heavy for me. I covered it up, but it didn’t. It died and it was already a four year old pepper tree ,so disappointed so I’m starting all over with the new one, but this bell pepper tree I got I got two of them. They’re on there, overwintering that pepper jalapeño is beautiful. They are prolific. It’s when the heat comes they start producing.🌶️🌶️🌶️
