Ursula those greens looked sooooo good!! I finally harvested mine so they can bounce back. I cleaned them and cut them up & put them in the freezer. I want to try pressure canning them with smoked turkey or ham. I’ve never done that, but the shelf life is better than freezing. That’s my goal for 2025. Thx 4 sharing & Happy New Year!!

Merry Christmas to you!! We had a lot of death in our family around these holidays so I haven’t been back to my garden in a couple of weeks. I did manage to plant collards and cabbage for the first time, broccoli, carrots and Brussel sprouts. I hope my sweet potatoes are still ok in my other plastic tub. I was thinking about digging into it this weekend but we’re expecting rain the whole time. I also have a few onions on the porch and they look fine. Hopefully the frost has melted down and gave my garden enough water. This Saturday if I go will be my third Saturday funeral in a row. Let me just say your crop cage looks fabulous. Last summer I sprinkled some snail bait in my yard to keep them down and when I tell you that stuff worked I didn’t see anymore after two applications. I’m trying to remember the name but they were granules.
