Very good for first time, very good in deed.
You work so hard to build your dreams!
I’m definitely trying. 😊
Nice harvest! My sweet potato harvest was embarrassingly small this season.
I am harvesting my Beaugard this weekend and some organics. I both of them from the grocery store. They will be 120 days. Loved your harvest.
How was your harvest?
Well done loyal and faithful servant that diligented harvest of 2023.
Thank you!
Nice harvest. I am glad you were able to enjoy the mutant one.
Hope you remember to thank God the Creator for the bounty...each time.
Ohhh, you did well with the batatas
I know! I was so excited. And I have a 2 more bags to harvest! lol I also have some yautia and yuca in the ground. If I get anything from those, I'll be super happy. lol
I do vegetables in my backyard 😊..I think I'm going to do some sweet potatoes ..l love them..thanks girl love the video.
They are definitely easy to grow. Good luck and thank you for watching and for the comment.
Not a bad harvest. Sometimes you may need to let them grow a little longer. 4 to 5 months for Beauregard. Even up to the first frost. Just get them out with 2 to 3 days.
Thanks. I actually have 4 more bags that I’m waiting until next month to harvest. Wish me luck. 😀
@@Make-It-Grow are sweet potatoes hard to grow
@@mehchocolate1257 no. They are very easy if you can give them at least 4 hot growing months.
@@Make-It-Grow can I grow them in the spring
@@mehchocolate1257 check the zone where you live to see when to plant.
That huge potato looks like one that may have been left behind in the past, may not taste as good as the small ones.
Nope. Not a leftover. Just a mutant. 🤣 I ate it and it was good. 😋
Great yield though not all did well
I have a few more bags to harvest, so maybe those will be better.
That's a disappointment. After all your effort. I've never been very satisfied with growing yams or sweets either. Same results as you got.
I grow butternut squash now to ensure I've got my deep yellow vegetables for the winter. They're easy and dependable and taste yummy.
The yield wasn’t so bad after I went through a few more bags. I did a succession planting, so I have 3 bags left to harvest in the fall. I tried butternut squash but didn’t have much luck. I replanted a couple of those in a container to see if they do better this time around. Stay tuned 😁
What you did get looked super nice. Even the giant weird one. And I'll admit to you, I did plant 20 slips for sweet potatoes. The plants are looking good. See, I'm a sucker for punishment. ; )

@@donnavorce8856 lol. I completely understand. I decided to replant some of my earlier fails to see if I can be successful before it gets cold (by Orlando standards). I hope you get tons of sweet potatoes. 😀
