Great video, straight to the point... no music, no bs.
Yes sir,,,,,short and sweet. Thanks for watching
I have a 2010 Camaro SS & this is exactly what happened to my spark plug wire at cylinder # 4. Thanks for this simple fix🤗
So glad it was just something very easy for you. Thanks for watching and my pleasure
Just change the coil to another cylinder and see if the misfire moves to that cylinder then you know it's the coil, you can try the same method to check wires
Great video thanks brother. Great information on how to do it right your self. I have a code on my pickup. I have a o2 bank one before cat. I got looking into it and it could be a bad o2 sensor or temperature sensor. I haven't had time to dig into it yet. The engine light will come on and go back out in a little bit. I think I need to get the Fluke 88 out and go from there. I hope it's just a wire find out soon. Keep up the great work see you in the next video thanks again brother
Good luck. hope it is simple fix! Thanks for watching
Thanks so much, been having this issue with my car for a while now, my plug wire came off the coil as well.
No problem 👍 Thank you so much for watching
Thank you bro for that information, I just got a 2012 Chevy Camaro in November 2020, and the Service Stabilitrack light went on just a week ago in March 2021, and it ran a little rough, but then the light went off and it ran great again, but I'm having it checked, and my good friend and mechanic said the same thing, most likely the spark plugs need to be replaced, so I'll have those plus the spark plug wires & coil pack checked.
More than welcome ....Just trying to help out. Thanks for watching

Mine did it this evening 2013 ss 1LE I started with the battery and it did the job ,I kinda knew battery was going bad ,your video was very helpful and put me at ease thinking it could be something major, car has 112k getting up there
So glad it was something simple. Those dang lights cause soooooo much panic when they come on. Thanks for watching
Mine just did this, but before I go and spend hundreds of dollars. Was it just your battery that needed to be replaced, my Service Stabilitrak light came on, but drained my battery. Help please.
@@emiliagarza6477 I have a 2019 ss and mine has been on for 3 days on and off
@@rudyescalera7164 I had to buy a new battery and an alternator. I put it on a code reader and it wasn't really showing much, but later I found out that a so called friend had asked me for a jump, I said ok. Didn't think anything about it. Next thing I know he doesn't need a jump anymore and my I started having issues, of course it didn't hit me until a month later. I called him when I started having issues out of nowhere, his response it's your battery, I'm confused, then he's adamant about its a dead cell. Yeah of course he knew be switched batteries which screwed up my alternator. I'm so pissed cause I had to pay almost 500 for the battery and alternator. I learned real quick how to change my alternator. I struggled, but I did it. As a female you cannot trust anyone. I also fixed my AC.. I changed the blend door and actuator. Spent $38 on parts and some guy tried to tell me I needed an actuator that cost $150.. seriously. So me being a female I can't get help from a man with out getting screwed, without going to dinner first.
I also have a 2013 SS 1LE and I had the same issue happen to my car on my way to work. “Service stabilitrack” came on my dash along with all the other lights similar to this video. I have the car parked at work cooling off, I’m hoping it works it’s self out just enough for me to get home and start working on it. I’ll give you updates on how it goes
Nice video! Yep you got lucky on that one. Haha I wonder though if the lock tab isn’t bad on your wire and that’s why it vibrated off. Another easy way is to swap coil and wire with another cylinder and see if the misfire follows the coil and wire. If it does follow it then swap the wire with a different cylinder and see if it follows the wire or stays with the coil.
Yep. But that requires a scan tool and more time. And we all know people want stuff now.....lol.
Yes ive been looking for this for some time now thank you
But mine goes right back off after it says it it just blinks for a sec
Glad you found it Thanks for watching
The service stabilitrac light? That is really just a generic waring light anyway. When is the last time you replaced your car battery?
You are top! Congratulations on your video! saved me!! Thank you!! God bless you! Tchau
Thanks!!! SO glad it could be of a little help. That is the whole intent. Glad someone was able to use it. .Thanks for watching
O.M.G I Have The Same Problem .. And My Car Is Seatting Now For 2 Weeks ...THANK'S MAN 👍
Hope it helps. Thanks for watching
Nice video, I am having this issue. My speed shop looked it over and they believe my starter is going. What appears to be happening when starting the car, the starter is going bad and draining the battery. The cylinder misfires and car runs rough until the alternator recharges the battery. My computer reading from the obd2 port confirms this theory. I hope to make it until spring so its warm out to replace the starter.
That is the crazy thing about these cars Greg. Any little thing, sets off a ton of lights and you about have to be a rocket scientist anymore to read even the simplest of codes...LOL Hope it makes it for ya bud
I took it to a shop today and they told me they think it's the gas pumps and that's why it triggers that code. Expensive fix. Quoted me 1400 bucks.
304 code covers many different things. Plugs, wires, sometimes the coils, and so on....Def get a second opinion when it comes to something that pricey....Thanks for watching
any update on this? did you get it fixed?
@@__loli9678 not really. I keep pouring some lucas additives . Codes doesnt come back. But I need to check the spark plugs
I was hauling ass when that showed up on the dash. Went off after a few flashes. Hasn’t shown back up since.
Glad it went off for you......If it ever comes back check the wiring on the side of the throttle body. GM has issues there. Loose in the connector. Thanks for watching
I changed my spark plugs and wire (wires were tearing) cylinder 2 coil and injector
You want to look for a consistantly brite blue spark at high rpm and idle.
Yes sir. IF you have good plugs. These were very worn out and I was just wanting to me sure it worked.
I have a 2014 Chevy camaro and the stabilitrack service poped up didn’t use it all day since then turned it on the next day and the tc the slippery car lights are gone should I worry btw the check engine light never went on none of the left speedometer lights whent on only the tc ones
I would not worry unless it keeps doing it. Thanks for watching
Good man right there
Why thank you so very much. Thanks for watching
I’m looking at a 2014 ls3 (m6) what should I look for? There is a nitrous button in the cockpit. So I know it’s been driven hard, it also has a k&n intake. It has really low miles 32k so I’m thinking about buying it. Should I consider purchasing the vehicle or due to the nitrous button should I keep looking?
Ah man. That is a hard one. just because it has nitrous does not necessarily mean it was ever used . If I was serious about wanting that car I would call around and talk to local mechanics and find one that will look the car over. And do a compression test. yes, it will cost you a little money. Not sure where you are but around here it can be done from as low as $40 to as high as $100 for a comprehensive checkout......Then , use that for your best judgement
dang new cars, one little thing and all those lights

@@CamaroTime hey bud long time viewing you channel, and I just subscribed cuz I had forgotten to for too long
I have a question that maybe you can help me with I have to replace the oil sending unit on the back of the engine block. Any tips on an easier way to do it without having to remove the intake manifold? I've tried for days upon days and cannot get it done. I don't trust mechanic shops, nor do I have the extra cash to pay the outstanding prices they've quoted me. Any help, or guides would be greatly appreciated. And keep up the quality content.
@@anus_mcfart3 Hey there. I had to replace the one on my Tahoe. But they are all the same on the LS engines. It can be a pain in the butt first time . I found it easier to lay a blanket on the engine and lay on top of it. Of course be very careful not to break anything . You will need a 27 mm (or a 1 1/16th) deep well socket, a universal swivel, a short 1 inch extension, a 2 inch extension and a ratchet. Go in from the top left corner of the engine (after unplugging the harness ) and lay the socket in there. Take your hand and feel the sensor and guide the socket on (you may actually be able to see the sensor in your application). Then break it loose. Time and patience is your friend. I also recommend putting some tape around all of your sockets and extensions once you get the lengths figured out as the socket is a little heavy and can and will fall off unless everything you have is new. Here is a great video showing how to do it. ua-cam.com/video/2PRTkFH8xsM/v-deo.html

hello sir,
I have a code P300 then P306 on my camaro Zl1 2013, the car starts well, I have a drop in power after 2500 laps, no engine indicator possible catalyst hs or clog? I passed the car to the power banc 750 nm only 350 hp, after engine light comes on power drop I go home with the car more engine light the car drives normally, unless I press the accelerator, power drop without engine indicator.. your opinion
That would mean a random misfire on cylinder #6. Standing in front of car odd numbers are on left and even are on right and start lowest , closest to you and go up towards the rear. So the first on the right would be cylinder #2 then next would be #4 and the one you are looking for would be the third one, #6.........I would pull the plug first and check it. If it looks OK then swap the coil with another one. Say, #2 coil.....Then unhook negative cable and drive for a while....See if it goes from 306 to 302...If so, replace the coil. It is bad....
I overhauled my stock L99 engine heads, valves are now in excellent condition like new, and tight enough. Replaced springs, valve steam rubbers, pushrods, rockers , spark plugs , cleaned valve lifters and injectors (no collapsed lifters on 100K mileage). Replaced all timing components and VVT along with camshaft sensor and magnet. Service Stabilitrak msg is still comes on during cranking along with a rough idle and a clicking noise. Valve lifters were found good but several of them had a scratches on the rollers. Oil pump is new, 50 psi on cruising and 26-29 psi on hot idle. Any suggestions ?? No fault codes
The service stabilitrac light will come on right after cranking on most of them but goes right out. AS for rough idle, is that after warming up, during warm up or, continuous? The L99?LS3 engines are none to have a random clicking noise in it ....Sounds almost like a plug arcing every once in a while. Thanks for watching
@@CamaroTime why Service Stabilitrak comes on during cranking ? what is the reason ? It do this 8 times from 10 attempts. Rough idle I can feel while warming up (it's normal maybe) and on very hot idle after good racing on highway and then stop at traffic light..It's very similar to unstable engine operation but without misfire codes. You suggest to replace coils and plugs ? Plugs are new Acdelco 1mm gap
You could def try replacing the plugs. I went with NGK plugs myself. My car has a different idle when cold compared to hot. It is kind of like it has a cam lope to it.
@@CamaroTime I'll try thank you. Did you ever tried Ruthenium NGK plugs ?
I have the same problem. Chsck lamp. Air gage in cluster miss fire. Sbold i replace spark plugs???

First you need to determine if it is the coil, the wires, or the plugs. Then replace whichever is needed. And then depending on mileage, go from there. Thank you for watching
Question.. what do you recommend for my first spark plug and wires..ss 13 at 92000.. I only have muffler delete.. x pipe.CAI.ported throttle ..air scoop. OEM? and spark wires ?
I put NGK plugs in mine when I put on the shorty headers and could not be happier. I am still running OEM plugs but will switch to MSD when I change them. Just because they are red...LOL.....Any of them will work. Only time you really have to worry is when you boost it or throw nitrous on them. Thanks for watching

Do you know anything about a 'code U0401- Engine control unit'? I turned traction and stability off, gave it a full acceleration, turned it TC and ESC back on and the next day on first start it had a misfire that went after about 10 seconds.
First time I have heard it happen like that. code U0401 is a generic code that is defined as “Invalid data received - engine control module (ECM), but sometimes as “Invalid Data Received from ECM (Engine/Electronic Control Module) /PCM (Powertrain Control Module) “A””, and is set when a communication fault occurs between two or more control modules.Due to the highly complex nature of modern CAN bus systems the fault can be located almost anywhere in the CAN bus system. However, in cases where there is no sub-code present, the fault is likely to involve wiring issues between the PCM and TCM (Transmission control Module), the PCM and the ABS control module, or the BCM (Body Control Module) and the airbags/seat belt control system. Was that the only code you had?
@@CamaroTime Thanks for your reply, mine is a manual by the way and is also a VF SS (similar if not the same systems/ powertrain to the Camaro). I haven't had any others or that one since, touch wood it stays like that.
Man what's so funny I had the exact same thing happen to mine. One day me and my son were cruising around and the car started running with a miss and same lights on the dash as yours. Made it home and got to checking and the exact same wire fell off the coil as yours. Mine is a 2010 btw! I pushed the wire back on until it clicked and started the engine...no lights! Been fine ever since.
Now that is weird isn't it? LOL Mine has been fine as well. If it ever happens again though, out come the zip ties and we are going to see a priest!! Thank you so much for watching

My camaro 2010 SS lights all came on as well took it to jiffy lube scanner said I had a Misfire Cylinder 5 and 7 and the guy tried changing one good spark plug to where the bad one was even when he did that he said there was something else wrong, took it to a Mecanic and he said it was the lifters has anyone had that same problem and if so what did you do? Thank you much appreciated
I have not . Hopefully someone else can chime in......Buttttt, if it were the lifters it would not change by simply changing out a spark plug. Thanks for watching
I had a p0300 code. But first, i noticed a single blip at idle then it turned into a misfire every 10 min or so. No code yet, so i listen to the tail pipes to try to see if its one bank or both, due to the X pipe, it was just an assumption. Still i hear only bank 2, so i let it go. I know its missing and confident its bank 2, next morning i start car cold and thermal beam each header and its telling me #4 is cooler than 2,6,8
I check at night n see an arc, i get hi temp tape, wrap the wire w out removing it due to they tend to break inside the wire, problem solved
Next day i hear a few more misses, along w a code p0300. I buy wires, runs better but not 100%
I get plugs, and pull mine out, all but 3 have no electrode left on the plugs
I swapped em, fired it up n smooth as a babies butt
So I'm ordering coils n a coil replicator kit!!
Very nice.....hanks for the tips. Thanks for watching
I have a 2010 camaro ss , One day I was driving on the highway and the car just randomly cut off . the emergency brake light came on , the stability control lights came on but I have no check engine light on . what could possibly be the problem ? every time I try to start the car the light and everything comes on and then when i turn it to start everything dies and all lights go off , like the car died
Wow. That is a very tough one. No simple answer without being there in person. I would of course start by checking all fuses and relays.

guys.. you are overthinking this. Buy a $35 fluke volt alert wand. You can hold it beside the spark plug wire to see if it is sending spark to the plug or signal to the coil. What I cannot explain is why so many plugs and coils fail on #4 with these 6.2 L engines. Why is it always #4??
Don't even need that. just stick your hand on the end of the wire and give a slight tug........Even if the wire is not seated all the way it can still ark the voltage. Thanks for watching

The reason the car started vibrating was because it went into limp/safe mode to keep you from tearing things up. Then as the computer re checked things, that is hen the light came on. The stabili trac light can come on for anything. it is just a generic light to let you know you have a problem. It could indeed be the battery. Easy enough to check. If you have access to a volt meter , take the two leads and touch one to each side of the battery. A good battery should have around 12.6 volts. There are sooo many things it really could be but the battery is the leading culprit.
@@CamaroTime what else could you think it can be , I haven't put any real mods on the car ( only a plug in ) to make it run on 8 cylinders and not viable 6 to 8 cylinders , I don't drag race , I hope I didn't blow anything ,. "sob"

I had the same issue on a 3.6l 2013 camaro and i checked plugs cylinder 4 had some oil on it so i ran a compression test and cyl 4 had no compression at all so i took a flash light and looked to see if the piston was moving while rotating the crank with a breaker bar . And it was good so now im gonna pull the head and off cause i believe i have a bent valve.
AH man, I hope not
Me to man!
Any update ?
This just happened to me last Sunday on my rarely driven 2013 hotwheels camaro with only 1,650 miles! I hadn't driven it in a a yr or so and it started up fine and drove fine for about 7 miles. Then the service stabilitrak started and my engine ran rough at anything below 1500 rpms. I was scared to death I wasn't gonna get back home (5 miles away). I pulled out a spark plug and it was all black and sooty so its running rich. What in the hell!???
Yeah, it will put a big lump in the throat when it happens. Could me several things. With scan tools pretty hard to diagnose. Could be a bad plug. Could be a bad sticking injector. Thanks for watching
@@CamaroTime I may have found the culprit. I have an Injen CAI and the breathertube that goes from the valve cover into the Injen was loose and barely in there creating a vacuum leak I'm assuming. This tube is in between the throttle body and MAF sensor. I reattached the tube and used worm screws to tighten down the hose. Would this have caused the running rich issue and stabilitrak to light up? I'm being super cautious about starting it up again after this discovery.
It certainly could have. But, I just do not know if it would only affect one cylinder. Normally something like that will affect more than just 1. There are just sooo many things. A bad O2 sensor can cause your to run rich or lean. A bad catalytic convertor and so on. Did you check all the plugs or just the one?
@@CamaroTime just the one plug and the car only has 1650 miles on it. It sat for quite a awhile (>1yr) before I decided to drive it before winter sets in. Gas is shell 89 non ethanol that was treated about 1.5 yrs ago with star tron fuel stabilizer. I just checked all 6 plugs and they were fouled out. Edit I spent 2 hrs taking them out and cleaning them off with carb cleaner and a bronze brush. I started it up for about a minute or two and could see greyish vapor coming out of the tailpipes. I think I'm just gonna have to drain this gas 😒
Sounds like it...................not fun.
Wasn’t sparking very much like it should be
I was using really old plugs
Why he sounds like Herbert
Sooooooo, where are your videos?????
It’s gotta be alternator
Nope...lOL
My God get to the point!
Some people like knowing how to get to the point.....Thanks for watching
My God, if you don't like get the hell and find a video of someone who gets right to point. Asshole!
Get to the point! Damn
Moving too slow for you? Click ahead further in video. Not everyone has the same amount of knowledge. Thanks for watching
@CamaroTime It's not about knowledge my guy. Do you even listen to what your saying? 80 % has nothing to do with the problem. Thanks for the knowledge tho.
Talking about the people watching. One would assume as I did , a grown man (50 years old) would know how to at least put a drill bit in a drill. But I have met one that did not. SO I do my videos as if I am talking to someone that has absolutely no idea . Thanks for watching
