I was so petty as a teenager apparently. My dad was abusive towards me physically and mentally so I decided to get pay back. He had several girlfriends at the same time🙄, so my dad was having a party and only invited one of his girlfriends which I thought was unfair😂😅so I told the other girlfriend I had organised a surprise party for my dad to celebrate his new business and told her to come at 8pm (party started at 7.30pm) I wanted to make sure everyone was there to watch the fallout🤣so yeah she came and there was my dad with his other girlfriend sitting on his lap(couldn't have orchestrated that scenario better if I tried 😅) and yeah it was hilarious watching him sqirm and try to explain himself 🤷‍♀️which failed and left him single(shocker😅) and all our family and his friends found out what sort of person he really was🤷‍♀️

I get the feeling that the boyfriend who broke up with his GF right before going to his friend's wedding in Florida wasn't actually looking to break up. He was probably trying the old "Break up so I can fuck this other person without consequences, then come back from the wedding and say that the display of their romance reignited my passion for my GF, and so I no longer want to break up anymore. But if she ever finds out I slept with all of the bridesmaids and 3 of the groomsmen, I still have the 'but technically we were broken up then' excuse" ploy.
It's a classic and oft over used ploy, to be fair... But I'm glad she saw through it all and forced him to keep the "single" status.

But the guy displaying his father's infidelities on the screen when he is pontificating from the podium to the church is beyond petty . It is revenge , excoriating and brutal . I think the pettiness fit the crime on that one. Of course a preacher would cheat on his wife then tell everyone else how to be moral. I'd be fuming having to listen to that as the son or the wife so I think he handled everything perfectly. There's such a cultural aversion to any pettiness of revenge but some people truly NEED to be called out so they can't go hoodwink people with their hypocrisy

But....my brother and I found an illegal grow operation and we stole few trash bags full! Which ge then shows me! I ask where his brother is and he gets this look on his face like it tried to fall off his skull. He is in his toom but you should come back in the morning. I push past him and go in anyway. To find him with a 13 yr old little girl he definitely had sex with her, the room smelled of it alcohol and pot. I wake him up and tried to fight with him about the little girl(he and I both were 19) I knew her as I had babysat her so I called her mother and had her picked up. I did not rat the little girl out because I figured he had lied to her. After she picked her up the guys were asleep. So took five big leaf trash bags of pot they had stolen and dumped it all down the sewer.( I did save a small bag for his brother and hid it in his car. Because he tried in his own way to tell me)

I once fated a guy for a few months. I was just getting myself together and getting sober. 4 months in, i started hanging out with him at his house where he lived with his little brother. There were lots of people hanging there all the time. So I questioned he said they were his brothers friends that he partied with. But I had noticed he always wanted me to go home around 8 to 9 pm. I found this suspicious as he was always super groggy in the mornings and slurred, but he always said he was just tired from his brother's party. One night I went over around midnight to see what was really happening. I get there and the place wreaks of pot and alcohol. His brother answers the door somewhat drunk and is super happy. So I ask what he is soo happy about. He says we'll I'm not supposed to tell anyone

So, my mom did something I am super proud of. My dad was a farmer. He loved sowing his seed, but in other farms. My mom, again, found out and to make things tasty, this one worked in the hospital where she worked. My mom worked as an administrator and she was a doctor. My mom gad also given birth to his 4th child recently. One night, when my dad wasn't home, she phoned security and asked if her husband's car was in the parking lot of the doctor residents that was provided by the hospital. The security said yes. My mom had one of my oldee sisters look after the baby. She went to the hospital and to the residents, knocking on the door. The woman opened, shocked to se le my mom standing there. She pushes herself in. Obviously, my dad was there. In a calm and collected voice, she told them this is how it's going to work from now on. Every month, they are going to take turns. Next month, this doctor is going to stay at my mom's house, with all the kids, raising them. She is also going to share her paycheck with my dad, something she had to do during her marriage. She would have to buy groceries, pay her portion of the school fees, contribute to paying off my dad's gambling debts, etc. My mom would then stay there, at this doctor's place. If this woman refused to my mom's demands, considering that she was f@#*ing my dad, knowing full well he is married to my mom, she was going to report this doctor to the head surgeon, her boss and someone my mom was friends with. My mom then left. That same night, that doctor dumped my dad abd told him to leave. He went back crawling to my mom 😎

I was quite petty to my coworker, who was regularly stealing my lunch. So, I enjoy cooking and bringing the food I make at home ( including recipes with foreign and sometimes not cheap ingredients) to eat for lunch later. I hate lunch thieves, but I hate liars the most. You see, I had full access to all security cameras in the workplace, so I could clearly see Jamie was not only stealing my lunch, but also feeling like taking bites from someone else's food. I asked her if she saw anyone taking my bento box out of the fridge. She obviously said 'no'. All right, liar. Next week, I brought my delicious home made sushi in a beautiful bento box and placed it on the shelf, so this looked very tempting to her. Jamie had no idea I was not going to eat it though. I boiled rice for sushi in a laxative solution. Rice vinegar and sugar are the perfect masking for the small aftertaste medicine had, as well as soy sauce was perfect for masking prune extract in it. I also brew senna extract as my tea and pour it in a bottle of "Teavana" by Starbucks, because we all are thirsty after salty soy sauce and delicious sushi, right? I observed her gulping my lunch and washing it down with my "tea", while I was eating Chick-fil-A at my desk. Two hours later I could hear Jamie running for her life towards the bathrooms for the rest of the afternoon. Also, she needed an unpaid time off to recover the next day.
By the way, our lunches stopped disappearing

I... I may, possibly, have very gently untwisted those metal springs so they'd just slide against the wood of the door and do absolutely nothing to reduce the force of the collision. And the ones that didn't have springs all disappeared at around the same time too, by some... strange coincidence.

      @WhitneyDahlin Рік тому +16

It depends on what he did. She never said what he did, for all we know he was physically emotionally and financially abusing her, maybe there were kids, maybe he gave her a permanent STD. There are a lot of really terrible things someone can do to deserve this level of justice. It's not revenge it's Justice in that case. Sometimes you have to take it into your own hands to teach someone a lesson. But I agree if it was something minor like he just hurt her feelings or he ghosted her on a dating app or he dumped her and that's why she was upset, yeah she took it wayyyy too far. BUT maybe he was such an abuser she ended up having to go to therapy and was mentally broken. If so he deserved the same back. See the thing people don't understand is, it isn't a virtue to "be the bigger person" that's what people tell you when they're trying to manipulate you into letting something go. And not everyone wants to be the "bigger person" I don't even like how it's called that. You aren't being the bigger person or the better person you're being the weaker person and an enabler for allowing someone to get away with something without consequences for their actions. Not everyone gives a s*** about forgiveness either. So be careful who you screw over the nicest person might turn into a vengeful psychopath if you push them far enough.

The reason people say to forgive is that helps one move on. It doesn't have anything to do with the actual abuser. But that's literally irrelevant to this whole thing because we don't even know if the guy did something. All we know is the guy is her ex. I do think petty revenge when ii's just and fine when it isn't ruining someone's life and sending them to therapy. I don't care if the guy cheated or was even abusive. She should have done something against him that is related to that. But this is just horrible. And the fact she sounded so proud of doing such a horrible thing while knowing its horrible just adds to that. It's wild to me that u think it's equally likely that either could be the abuser. No, the truth is we don't know the probabilities of this at all and only thing we can go off is that clip. And the stuff in that clip makes her look like a sociopath. That is what means to be consistent.
Edit:- I don't what u mean by it being worthless. It might have been to you but that's not because the idea itself is bad. It's because people are different. It does work for a lot of people. All of us made dates for the weekend before school started with the grand finale being a barbecue out in the woods. One of our buddies enlisted his mom and her friends to select all the locations and clues, and we had a blast with each couple racing from spot to spot to see who could make it to the barbecue site first. None of us knew the end spot, so if you screwed up on a cruise you had to back track. It was a lot of fun and a very enjoyable way to kick off our senior year. (Yes it was a rural High School!) But I could just imagine dumping one each of those 31 boxes at a different location with a clue of where to find the next one. And I'm thinking maybe 10 miles between each box so that it takes him five or six hours to get them all back.

(2) go to your state fair, and sign up for everything, be it replacement windows, hot tubs and spas, anything and everything that gets you either called by a pushy salesman or sent crap in the mail. (3) be sure to print on the label that the best times to call after 7:00pm week nights, and 7:00am on Saturdays and Sundays!

A stitch picker works wonders on the crotch stitching of their favourite pants. Unpick the hems of various garments - jackets, pants, etc. If they wear their clothes a bit tight, a slight touch of sabotage on the seams and buttons are in order. Watch them go on a diet when they start bursting out of their favourite outfits.

Next day he shows up the get his stuff. I did clean them.... but I also cut, burned and tied them in knots. There are other " petty " things I did to him. Still proud to this day.

my father cheated on my mom when I was a baby. He even had a very expensive apartment which mom found the keys to, went in, saw all the clothes that were missing from his closet, got out, and filed for divorce a few days later. Also, he was in panic mode because he couldn't find the keys to his "friend's apartment" which his "friend" gave him to keep safe. Mom threw them away, and to this day, he never figure out where the keys ended up, or that my mom knew that he was cheating on her.

My ex was a real jerk. We had been divorced for awhile and I had moved out of state, I went home to visit my Mom with the kids, He lived close by and came to visit the kids at Mom's and acted like the jerk that he was. I told him that I was sick of it and since I had moved to Kentucky and they had people there who practiced voodoo, I told him I paid one of them $50.00 to take care of him. (not true) He laughed and told me that was B,S,. A week after I got home, Mom called laughing. He was in the hospital with stomach pains and they could not find anything wrong!!!! My pettiest moment happened when I attended university. This guy I dated very briefly, was extremely possessive of me. And he asked me for my Social Security number and student login information so that he could sign us up for identical class schedules in the next semester. After offering him every excuse under the sun, I finally downright refused to give him my info. I expected an outburst or meltdown from him. Instead, he gave me all of his information and insisted I sign us up for identical class schedules.
Not only were our class schedules opposite, but the buildings his classes were in were across the campus from mine. He was furious. I was satisfied.

The mom cutting the buttons etc reminds me of a post I read once, I don't remember on which social media, of a woman saying how she got max level petty revenge on her husband after an argument while living in a studio or super small appartement.
To get away and calm down, she went into the closet, fuming, and had her sewing kit and her husband's clothes. She un-sewed his suit, still looking normal, calmed down in the process, got out, they made up and she forgot about it.
Days later, he went to work, then called her in a panic as his clothes were coming off by themselves and he was freaking out while she roared in laughter remembering what she had done.
I cried reading her post, laughing so much my stomach hurt 🤣🤣🤣
