So 2 days later when he had no clean clothes he looked at me and asked why his laundry wasn't done, with the best dumbfounded look I could do said "I don't know I told the machine to do it I guess it just didn't. Maybe you should talk to the hamper"

The penny story was about an abusive parent being abusive one last time. It sounds like he did this to shame and embarrass his ex wife and his TWO daughters who had cut ties with him to escape his behavior. In an article it says that after they cleaned up and collected the 80000 pennies he dumped the ex-wife and daughters donated the last payment to a domestic abuse shelter. The real story is the strong women not the abusive jerk.

Here's an insane long haul petty Reddit story I remember:
A girl's brother decided to mess with her in high school, and told her BF she was cheating. She was deeply in love with this guy, and was heartbroken that he didn't believe her when she denied it. The BF was like "Why would he lie about that? He has nothing to gain. It must be true." He was hurt and angry, thinking she cheated.
What the brother "gained" playing a horrible "prank" on his sister. He thought it was hilarious. So she lay low, and waited... Her brother was a player. It wouldn't hurt him if she tried to mess with a current hook-up girlfriend...
Years pass, and her brother finally mets "The One". The girl he wanted to marry, and finally settle down with, after years of messing around. His sister decided to confide to the GF that her brother was cheating. She believes the sister. After all, what does she stand to gain from this? It must be the truth!
Brother is furious, and tries to strong arm sister into taking it back. She refuses. But here's the icing on the cake...
HE ACTUALLY WAS CHEATING!!! The sister thought she was "lying" to get back at him for being such a horrible person. But it was actually the TRUTH. The GF contacted her later, to say thank you, and explain that the sister just confirmed her suspicions, and after digging she discovered he was cheating. 😱

Ive been petty, I think everyone reaches a petty point. But the best is accidental pettiness. My ex had a female friend who used to torment me every day, for an entire year after I broke up with him. She used to catch the same bus to work that I did to university. I just ignored her and her friends. Until i started loss prevention. I saw her in the store I was working at one day, and just for shits and giggles, I began to watch her. Low and behold, roughly $100.00 worth of product vanished into her jacket. This was my pay day! The look on her face when I met her at the door and brought her in was utterly priceless. She had to wait for four hours as well for police to collect her because she had no identification on her. For four hours, I wasn't stuck with her, she was trapped with ME! Most satisfying arrest I ever made.

I am a PETTY QUEEN. When I had a roommate many years ago she didn't want to touch the garbage. An agreement was struck that I would take out the trash and she would do the dishes. Because I had service for 8 of dinner plates, salad plates, bowls and saucers she would literally wait until everything was dirty and then buy paper plates because she didn't want to wash the dishes. When I finally got fed up I put all the dirty dishes on her bed before she came home form work. The dishes were done in a timely manner after that.

That's awesome! I have been cleaning up after a drunk piece of trash for 5 years. He is my mom's "boyfriend." 🙄 But he is perfectly capable of putting his dishes in the dishwasher. Yet, he still doesn't do it. I went away for a couple of months and he was cleaning and stuff. When I got back, he immediately stopped cleaning. I told everyone I was done. No more cleaning except my own dishes and my space downstairs. Which is always very clean. (and I also clean my mother's things and do her laundry) I am her caregiver. He never takes care of her. She would starve if I moved out. All he does is get drunk, scream and yell all hours of the night and treat my mom like a piece of shit. There have been many times where it has gotten physical. My flatmate in uni would regularly leave tons of dishes dirty for ages and never cleaned anyone elses. Mind you, that place had a dishwasher, but still, she would clean just her own things, which on its own was very rare.
One time she left a pot full of uneaten instant pasta with sauce on the stove for like 2 weeks and then left for holidays for another 2 weeks.
So I took the moldy pot and left it on her bed (on precious bedsheets with a massive horse head which was freaking me out) to find when she got back.

Realised that when I came home from my toxic friends house I was sadder than when I went over. My husband mentioned this and said, 'you should feel better after talking to friends, not worse.' . I realized that she would spend the whole time bashing my partner of 17 years while talking about how amazing her boy friend of 2 years was. I finally asked if she thought so little of me that she really thought I'd stick with a monster of a human for 17 years. I reminded her that she only met him 2 times and didn't know him, I also never bitch about him as we rarely fight. I asked her is she had ever seen me sad about my relation ship and asked why love and happiness was not enough. I left after that and never spoke to her again. Follow me looking for a parking spot and dare to beep at me?!? I’m cracking open a cold tea or coke and watching UA-cam videos!!! Great way to binge some of Charlotte’s videos! But my "check your change" habit has netted me all kinds of silver coins and even a handful of Indian head pennies. The lady didn't think they were worth anything so I have her a couple bucks for the rest in her purse. Im sure they are worth more but the lady didn't even want me to pay her for them as "she's got a whole coffee can full at home" 😳
Luckily her son brought her back to the place I was working the next day and I know this lady could use the money-i asked him to check that can for her and gave him the number of the guy who checks my coins for me as he's honest anout their worth.
He said later that the coins were bought by my friend the coin guy and they paid off his moms home and put a pretty penny in the bank. They kept a few as a collection but she had walking liberty dollars and all kinds of coins in there.

I wanted to see how long it would take for him to be like “oh I know how a machine works”. 3 weeks later, he’s mad, BIG mad. And I’m like “oh, what’s the problem *plays dumb* “. He throws a fit because he has no clean clothes and how, I quote, “these boxers are on day 4 and they could stand up on their own.” 😂😂😂😂😂 I was like “oh I guess I didn’t realize! Petty Taurus story! My boyfriend and I lived together for several years before his mother ended up losing her apartment and had to move in with us. This move was supposed to be temporary, but of course it turned out to be long term. Before she moved in, we all got along just fine. She and I would even go on shopping trips together or just go get coffee or whatever. Not long after she moved in, her car died. I let her use mine because my boyfriend and I worked at the same place and had the same shift, so why not. I asked her to help me with car insurance and upkeep because she was using it. Of course she didn't. She also didn't wanna help pay bills, but would spend MASSIVE amounts of money on shopping networks and all that. If I ever got sick enough that I literally could not get up out of bed and my boyfriend tried to show me some extra attention and take care of me, then magically SHE would become even more sick to try to get his attention back on her. I would clean the house, and she would conveniently wait until I was finished to ask if I needed help. Despite all of this, I tried to be nice and calm. I kept telling myself she'd be moving soon. Well...I ended up getting a new job and would need my car back. When I told her this, she LOST it on me. She was calling it HER car and that I wasn't thinking about her needs at all and she went as far as complaining to my boyfriend about it. He did side with me, but she proceeded to make little passive aggressive comments and generally made my home life hell. That was it. I was done, but I didn't want to just start an all out brawl. So I donned my pretty petty boots and decided I would get her back in weird little ways. I always talked nicely to her, but when she was being a terror, little things would happen. One day when she was at work, I soaked her favorite coffee cups in salt water, and then salted the inside of the cups while they dried. She was constantly drinking coffee, so every time she got a cup at home it tasted like salt. Yup, salty like my danged soul. Then she had this massive collection of styrofoam coffee cups from different restaurants. There were over 200 of these cups, and I wish I was exaggerating that number. She would lose her mind if we ever tried to throw any away and they were overtaking the counters. She used these cups to take coffee to work with her. Well, she had to wear khakis to work, so one day I poked teeny tiny little holes in the bottoms of all of them. The cups would very slowly leak, so you wouldn't have noticed it at first. By the time she'd get to work, her pants would have these coffee stains all over them because the cup would leak on her lap on the way over and there was never time to go change. I used to go outside and collect tiny little pieces of gravel when she wasn't home, and I'd bring the gravel in and put just a piece or two in her shoes. I never did anything major, just some little inconveniences, and I only did them when she was being a terror. When she was being nice, none of those things would happen. I'd even offer to do nice things for her. I would not typically do such things to anyone, but at the time I felt she'd backed me into a corner.

    • @varunadeiwos860

Technically speaking US and AUS english are both dialects so one would say "wrong" but linguistically speaking a dialect is "a language with no army or navy" which both US and Australia has so yeah... all the spellings are correct. People just need to accept differences and stop trying to be 'right', like that dude.
For example all foreigners like me have a very hard time and we mix accents a lot! While the world wide taught english is the BBC Englis (Queen's english/Standard british english ecc...THAT ONE, that most of England doesn't speak anyway XD they also have strong accents and dialects) since the school system often sucks we learn using youtube, books, movies, tv series so we have me that has learned english spelling of most basic words but then again has a wide US vernacular and a mixed accent from where I learned something (was it from bbc movie? theatre? or Charlotte? Or Dr.Mike? Or Ru Paul? Or every major crime drama ever made that's available on netflix?) mixed with my ridiculously strong italian accent.
Fun fact: every NOT NATIVE SPEAKER understands me... then I went to London and Florida and people looked at me like I was an alien, trying to speak to me in spanish (most of them earnestly trying to tell me that they were speaking italian) so I ended up writing this on my sketchbook:
< Speak to me freely in english, please. If you do not understand me I will write down what I am saying or if you prefer I will say that directly in italian as slowly and clearly as I can. Thank you very much.>
      And showed it to everyone,
Mostly cause my questions were all like: DO YOU SERVE WATERMELON OUTSIDE OF BREAKFAST? Or any kind of fruit, really.
Cause I was super hyped in florida that there was watermelon during the NEW YEAR!!!
...then I got tipsy new year's eve and apparently suddenly while receptionists and people at cafe or restaurant have always found me impossible to understand, I met this old guy with his (STUNNING!) daughter who was dancing a mean salsa foot-game and I fell in love immediately and this elderly man had no issue to understand the shitty english I thought I had, we speaked to eachother slowly, we were laughing and I kinda understood that the difference was in the willingness to try and listen beyond accents. I was depressed about my english I was so proud of, he -and the daughter- cheered me up and gave me back my confidence!
I know I will always have to strive to get a wider vocabulary and a better pronounciation BUT I also know that I can be undestood (and not because of my very italiany expressive face and handgesturing making us very good at sharades XD)

Charlotte, I cut out my very best friend of 25 years, because after all those years of loyalty, love and friendship,
she decided to test my loyalty to her, by having her husband try set me up in a thirst trap.... with him!!
I only realized what she had done the night before we all were flying out to Mexico to their ten year wedding vows renewal on the beach. And the only reason I realized the truth was because she made a slip up in telling me that she had (also) done this to her own sister just weeks before!!!!!! The sister fell for it, but I told him I weren't interested in him or his advances, nor hurting my best friend.
I'd luckily not booked to stay at the same hotel as the wedding party, so didn't have to spend the entire fortnight with her and just attended the wedding like a good bridesmaid does, but once we returned home, I didn't make or return any contact from her whatsoever. It was like a massive break up and was horrible but had to be done, after all those years I find out she's super toxic. And her hubby too cos he went along with it both times! That was some years ago now and it still puzzles me why she felt the need to question my loyalty but some things are better left unsaid. Both of you know fully well that she was just amused by the pettiness of paying in pennies and mildly curious where it came from. But you ignored it because there was a low hanging fruit, if you just spin the narration a little bit.
What's the easiest, cheapest way to feel like being above a person? Attack them.
But if you also wanna feel like a good person, you can't just attack anyone, it needs to be a villain.
So where is the villain? There is definitely the father.
But that's not good enough, is it? Putting yourself above some deadbeat pos father isn't much. there is no point in attacking him.
So, we need a better villain. Let's make one!
If we spin it just the right way, then we can say that Charlotte took the side of an abuser, victim blamed the poor mother and daughters. what a shame!
Nice! now we have a much "better" villain than just the father!
So, now that she's a bad person, we can go after her, since now she "deserves" it!
      "oh pff, she's so ignorant"
"oh pff, she's young and stupid, hope she'll learn from my wisdom and be better like me"

I had to sit there and listen as a few family members got up and spoke about what a wonderful man he was. It was so disgusting that one of my uncles (my mom’s brother) went outside because he couldn’t deal with the lies. For some reason, my mom and sisters made these large white buttons to wear on our lapels that all said “favorite daughter” or “favorite son” or “favorite grandchild”, alluding to an inside joke I wasn’t part of. I didn’t want to wear it but my husband urged me to so as not to cause any drama. That’s what they wanted. Drama. Luckily, I’d worn a little flowy shrug over a top and palazzo pants and I realized I could put the button on and if I did it just right, the draping of the shrug would cover it. Ok, so a friend told me this one she saw on Instagram: Daughter took her mom to her doctors appointment. After the appointment the mom wants to stop for a burger and asks the daughter to stop at X restaurant. The daughter drives right by the restaurant and many others.
When they get back to the mom's house, she asks the daughter why she didn't stop at the restaurant.
The daughter says, "I've waited my entire life to say this -- We have food at home!"

PETTY STORY - My husband/boyfriend (been together 12 years with two kids) has the mindset that because i'm a home maker that i am also a personal slave at times.
He has a terrible habit of walking out of his clothes. As in, one step, boot off. Second step other boot off. Sock then sock, down the hall. He gets to the bedroom and the rest of the clothes drop to have a shower.
The laundry basket is on his side of the bed and there is three feet of space between the bed and basket. This is where he strips AND kids his clothes to the base of the basket.
My rule is that if it is not in the basket then it doesn't exist. He knows my rule very well. So when it's time to do the laundry i just pick up the basket and do the laundry. Always leaving a ring of clothes around the basket. And he would ask why his stuff isn't clean. Been doing this coming on three years now and he still asks why his socks aren't clean. I now just look at him and say "Uh huh" and walk away. He knows.

Worked with a gal once whos' husband did the same thing and was passing the habit on to their two kids. She worked from 4pm till 10 pm M-F. Finally after asking for cooperation repeatedly, she called a family meeting. Dirty cloths will be put in hamper, jackets hung up, boots / shoes in mud room rack, toys put away before bed. Anything I pick up off the floor when I get home from work goes in the garbage because you don't care what happens to it. After she picked up and stuff went into a trash bag, she took the trash out.
The kids complained, cried and complied pretty quick. Dad took several weeks and shopping trips for new under ware, socks and cloths before he actually got the message. That woman was genius.

I hadn't been religious since I turned seventeen and also no longer prayed. My sister would say prayers with my niece every night or have my brother do it when visiting. One night, when I was 23 and my niece was 7, my sister said uncle Justin's going to say the prayer with you. I stated that I did not pray anymore and did not want to say the prayer with my niece. My sister stated again that uncle Justin is going to say the prayer with you. Oh, you want to play huh? I get on my knees (sister is LDS and I was no longer one) and just lay on the sweetest yet most sarcastic tone I can muster. Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this GREAT day. Please please please bless our family, and proceeded to individually ask to bless every family member, all the pets, the neighbors, the plants, weather, friends for about five minutes. I got done and my niece congratulated me on such a wonderful prayer (again she's seven). My sister was sooo pissed. Guess who was never asked to say the prayer again?

I got to a point that I would clean up only after myself.
The situation was basically, "single girl does housekeeping, for free, along with babysitting (also for free), for all her siblings (three bios, one BIL), mother, mother's bf, grandmother, 2 nieces, 2 nephews, and self for four and a half years, before something snapped.
I decided I was tired of being the only one doing anything.
So I just cleaned up things I used, since I was the only one who cared. So people started yelling at me when the kitchen would smell bad. I quietly took it of course. Why not? Being blamed was all I'd known my whole life.
Then CPS got involved, and gave us 48 hours to get the place liveable again, and everyone was blaming each other and everybody else.
You guys, this was the first time I ever exploded.
I was FINALLY tired of the blame game. I was also tired of everyone's pathetic, selfish hollering while literally NOTHING was getting done.
For about 10 minutes, I just silently did dishes while they freaked out. Then, I pulled my hands out of the water when they started mentioning me.
I turned around, looked in the general direction where everyone could see or hear me, and I went full meltdown.
They tried to keep up the blame game, but every time they opened their mouths, I shot that down real fast.
I literally screamed bloody murder that I wanted them to shut the hell up, stop screwing around, and get their asses in high gear - unless they wanted the kids taken away because of their own negligence and stupidity. When they got offended, I just told them: "Who are the mothers who take food I make, give it to the kids, then leave the kid's plates ON THE TABLE, with crap still covering them ALL NIGHT AND NEXT DAY, then just dump crap in the trash can, don't even wash the dishes before serving them something else on the same dish? Who are the moms who refuse to watch their children at the expense of the only sister who is trying to keep this pigsty clean FOR TWELVE PEOPLE, BY HERSELF? Who are the people that are so concerned about keeping their children, but completely ignore them every day so long as auntie is in the house? Y'all know that if we all worked together, we could make a sizeable enough dent in this before she comes back on Saturday, to keep the kids, but you'd rather sit here screaming at each other, while YET AGAIN, the single girl, who's clearly useless to all of you, despite being the ONLY PERSON WORKING, gets started, then swiftly overwhelmed by all of your shitty blaming and pointing fingers, while the clock ticks, and the stress peaks. I may be useless, but unlike you morons, I'm doing something about it. Now kick yourselves into high gear, before I do it for you, because I freaking will. I am NOT going to listen to your BULLSHIT crying when the kids get carted off, if I'm the only person who's showing they give any effs about these kids."

When my husband & I first got married, he worked nights & I worked days. We divided the chores. I would cook dinner, (setting his aside to take with him the next evening); he would do the dishes.... The thing is, the dishes had to be done before he left for work, so I could use the pots & pans to cook. Well, he started missing doing the dishes. Ok. the first couple of times no problem. Then, I got even. I would wash the pans & make dinner for MYSELF & leave the dishes for him. He asked me about it from the first day. I explained, I couldn't make dinner without pots & pans and if I was going to have to do the whole thing, cooking etc., then he could cook his own meals. Same thing happened with laundry. I would clean the house on the weekend & he did the laundry, (during the week). It was easier for him to do the laundry, bec he was home during the week, when the laundromat was empty. (If I had to do the laundry it would take me twice as long as I had to go during the weekend). Well, he started to not do laundry, letting it pass. Soooo....I did my laundry & left his. (I washed towels, but hid them from him so only I had access). Did not take him long to figure out that the chores would be shared equally. If not, then.....my stuff would get done & he'd have to fend for himself. We've been married 35 years & together over 40, so I think it all worked out in the end.....don't you?

Charlotte, my family motto is literally "everything worth doing is worth doing petty." I've got novels. But here's how the family motto started. My great grandmother was a housewife and great grandpa worked. One day she told him she needed money for underwear and he gave her something like $5, which was quite a bit of money back in the 1930s. Granddad says she has to pay him back, but wouldn't allow her to get a job. So, she asked all of her friends, relatives, etc, for the cash, and she gave it back to him, in PENNIES. When he told her to count it, she refused and said "sorry, I have to make dinner, clean and take care of our kids. Since you control the money in this house, you can count it."

LONG LONG Petty Story but i've been waiting to get this off my chest: After college I moved back in with my mom and her bf at the time (lets call him Damian) because I was to attend gradschool and didn't have a job yet. They had been dating a couple years while I was away at school and I didnt want to get in their way but I had nowhere else to go and they agreed.
The agreement was that I would pay then $300 (rent was $1100) and clean the whole house once per week + do everyone's laundry (folded and placed in drawers and closets). I would buy and cook my own food too but we often had dinners together and always shared. I thought this was very fair. I love cleaning and didn't mind laundry or sharing any food I bought. I had my own room and bathroom. I was genuinely happy.
Except Damian made it no secret that he didn't like me and didn't want me living there. He constantly would talk bad about me to my mom (but loud enough for me to hear) saying how ridiculous it was that I couldn't get my own place after college (mind you I was 22, he himself lived with his parents until he was 29). He ask my mom why she loved me more than him...(he had no kids and couldn't understand this basic concept). He would also tell her that I was using her because I would stay the weekends at my boyfriend's house so clearly I only care about my mom during the week????
Overall I think he felt very threatened by my presence like he wasn't going to get enough attention. A fucking child I tell you! Eventually he started demanding that I do more around the house. The kitchen had to be cleaned daily, the whole house had to be cleaned twice per week instead of once, and I couldn't have anyone over. The only person that would even go over before the new rule was my bf but we couldn't be in the living room because that was "Damian's TV space" and we couldn't be in my room because Damian considered it disrespectful...even though I was a full adult and my mom did not mind. My mom would defend me but I would tell her it was no big deal, I was a grown-up and if anything was out of line or I felt bad I could defend myself and I didn't want to put her in the position to have to "pick" between her bf and her daughter that's just stupid.
One day my bf came to pick me up in the morning before the beach and I wasn't ready, so I told him to wait in the kitchen for me. Everyone else was sleeping. He asked if he could have some orange juice to which I said: of course. Later that evening Damian kicked me out of the house because he said it was the last straw that I had allowed someone to drink his orange juice! He said I had no respect for him and his space or his things and that I couldn't stay anymore. Honestly I think he was just looking for an excuse to kick me out..
My mom was heartbroken but again I didn't want to put her in a weird situation so I agreed to leave and moved in with my bf in his family's house (best people ever btw!) but before I left I took the one thing that brought Damian joy - his favorite cereal bowl. He loved that thing, ate all sorts of meals from it, placed it in a separate place in the cabinets for easy reach. I took it and threw it in the back of my car where it would stay for months before I threw it out. My mom says he looked for that bowl everywhere, high and low, and couldn't find the same one on amazon. They got into multiple fights because he would accuse me of stealing it (he was right) and my mom would tell him to quit targeting me because he had already gotten me kicked out (she didn't know). It was a small thing but I felt so satisfied after everything he put me thru!!
Years went by and my mom and Damian finally broke up because his obsessive behavior got worse. My bf and I also amicably went our separate ways but I'll always be grateful to him and his family for taking me in and I still communicate with his mom out of gratitude.
A year ago, at the age of 26 I bought my own house where I happily reside with my husband and baby and nobody keeps tabs on the orange juice :)

Second, the people I scream at online are never going to change their lives, habits or minds because I commented on their story angry about what they said. So one night she decided to take action, she drove to the woman's home and put her husband's car into neutral. She rolled it enough out of the way so that she could start it and her husband would not hear. SO for the next hour or so, she would drive a couple of blocks and run back and get the other car. This went on until she got home and put both cars in the garage. Then she waited. Early in the morning, her husband called panicked and said that someone store his car while he was working and he needed to be picked up. So like the sweet wife she was, she picked him up and when she pulled into the driveway, she opened up the garage, and pulled in next to his car! That evening when I picked her up at work, I drove her half way home, then made her walk the rest of the way next to the car ! Don’t worry I relented after a while and made her get in the car and drive her the rest of the way home but she got my point !

There was a documentary back in the 2000's about cheating partners and how people got revenge over them. The dog food thing made me remember this. There was a woman in there who scooped up the dog's poop from the garden and cooked it into a pie. She had invited her cheating ex husband over to talk about some things with their divorce. He ate the pie and ended up telling her that she still made the best pies. Like she said... If can talk shit and act like shit, he can eat shit too.
I don't condone doing this. I just remember watching that documentary.

Petty revenge... took everything from sink, stove and anywhere else we could find dirty stuff. Piled it all on top of their bed. Made sure not to spill liquid or scrape any food off before we did it. Never had a problem again. Buahaha

Ooof, the story with the Dad giving pennies is not petty, it is lowkey abusive. Clearly the dad resented having to pay for the child he helped create, he resented the mom and he resented the girl, so he made one last move to try and humiliate the mom and daughter. That is absolutely disgusting.

Also the one with "my petty has no statue of limitations". Being petty is to either get your emotions out (so, right now) or teach someone a lesson to behave better. There's no lesson 20 years after... especially if the person didn't do their bad behavior again after that time. It's just toxic and childish.

Right! You willingly sleep with a woman, you are accepting that a child might come from it and you are responsible for said child. And the daughter didn’t ask him to be her father- he better not be shocked when she won’t let him see grandchildren or care for him when he’s elderly.

You’re not the only one who got sweet revenge with pet food. Worked in the ER of a teaching hospital in Toronto. Always brought my lunch, kept in the staff only break room … locked with a code … so when my salmon sandwich and home made cookies disappeared, I knew the interns were broke again. They’d raise our staff fridge. Food for patients was labelled and separate. A-hole went through my fabric lunch bag, took everything but the apple, and put the bag back. Try working a 12 hour shift with no food … make a long night longer! So I got petty. Made a salmon flavoured cat food sandwich, same bag etc and waited. Come lunch time, the sandwich and cookies were gone. But nobody ever took my lunch again! I’m famous in the department for my revenge! Don’t mess with a red head!

The scissors for cutting people off - Omg, yes!
Had a friend who, when younger, had moved to her mom's (divorced parents), and stopped talking to me. She had a rough live at her dad's, mom didn't live anywhere close, so it really hurt but I understood. We reconnected in uni and got really close again - BFFs, or so I thought. Years later, she's married, bunch of kids, re-found religion (all okay, don't get me wrong); I was terminally single, a big geek, met a friend who had helped me get published in a book (like, actual book), and when I told former BFF, she said, "I had poems published in high school..."
Massive jealousy issues on her end with the new friend, and she deleted me again (all socials, she was suddenly gone). So... I blocked her. Decided I wasn't giving her a third time to do it.
I heard from a mutual that she was angry I didn't try to fight to get her back, but I didn't see the point. If she wanted attention that bad, she needed a dog, not me.

After moving states and having a nightmare of situation with the house we were supposed to rent. My in-laws called my husband and told him I needed to take down a fb post about our rental falling through and staying in a travel trailer while we worked everything out, because it was "too personal for everyone to hear about" ( My Facebook account is private the only people on there is family and friends it was easier to post an update than to call everyone"
My husband asked me to take it down just so he didn't have to deal with his parents. Well I refused and And instead I figured out that Facebook allows you to block posts from certain people. Like I didn't unfriend them or block them entirely I just made it so that his family couldn't see any of my posts for like 6 months. Then his mom called and complained that she hadn't seen any pictures of the kids lately to which he said And you requested to not be a part of that.😂😂😂😂 I mean this is far from the pettiest thing I've done but it is still makes me giggle.
Back story is that his family has not come to visit us in the 15 years that we've been married and they have only met our children (oldest is 12)because I personal paid for us to drive 16 hours to see them. They visit his 1 sibling, who lives farther away than us, all the time and even travel out of country every other year but can't come visit because," it's so far"
They call maybe 4 -5 times a year, to tell My husband we should give up everything we've work for and move closer to them. So they really are not in a position to tell us what to do with our life or children and I will post what I please.
