Inquisitor, rogue trader, breachers are top secret. Within the army. Dump your preconceived notions of this army, look at it differently, and you will see the gem of this army
Inquisitor : A/B+ -Cheap, reliable way to get a CP cause you just put it in a unit that you will feed with CP, and it's your choice - how can't you see a 2d6 torrent with AP2 and dev wound AND the best combi weapon of the game with 3+ and AP2 and dev wounds are just insane in a unit you can feed with +1S/+1AP and full reroll to wounds? And also you will use the 18" grenade, so it's 2CP in one turn, you may got your CP back. And you can deepstrike them.
Everything you say is correct except the Inquisitor does not gain Deep Strike from Combat Landers, since that happens at the start of your declare battle formations before you actually determine who is leading what units. I like DS on voidsmen - 6 models to just drop down and do actions/take corners/etc.
You were partially right, Tuesday is indeed named after Tiers, or as the Norse/ early English called it Týr the Norse God who would have loved Tier list.
First entry: inquisitor, lowest rank. For real? 2d6 auto hit, devastating wounds, reroll wounds in breachers squad, free strat on a 3+ for only 55pts, and you rank it that low, even behind the ministorum priest! That doesnt make any sens.
Facts ministorum priest is bottom of barrel the imperial agents hate was live in this video and I'm all for it. Me bout to play this army as soon as I finish the sheild cops
Yeah, it feels weird to see the regular inquisitor so low. They're indeed great with the breachers to spam grenades from 18" and reroll the wounds of their psychic shockwave. They're also great with the grey knight terminators. Deep strike them in with rapid ingres, on a 3+ you get the cp back and the force weapon is quite good with the lethal hits on a charge.
@@thelegendsmith3063 oh yeah don't play the malleus detachment. It sucks. But in the other detachments, excluding fleet, it's a solid way to get the terminators where you want. In fleet you can just infiltrate them so no need to attach the inquisitor on them.
How is a 40 point unit 'servitor duty'? Thats the cheapest unit you can possibly take in a lot of imperial armies. I think its one of the top 5 agents for allies.
I think the view on the Eversor as an ally is correct. It is very similar to the Solitaire which rarely gets taken in an army that has good alternatives (agents does not have great alternatives hence it ranks higher). Great insights as always.
I think the generic Inquisitor has a place in allies lists for the CP refund as an alternative to captain rules. For example in sisters you could have a canoness and an inquisitor to have a lot of free strats.
The base inquisitor is better than you give it credit just for the psychic overwatch ability. Still not good, but I’ve taken it with a grey knights unit and wiped a 5 man seraphim with the inquisitor alone.
"Who are you attaching this nerd to (inquisitor for the CP refund)?" Oh I don't know I think 2d6 18" S4 AP3 dev wound torrent is pretty good (voidfarers unit using Close Quarters Barrage). Likely with rerolls to wounds if with Breachers.
Great vid, thanks. I'm overall pretty disappointed with the IA book. Firstly...where the heck are my inquisitorial storm troopers? Secondly, as pointed out, the inquistors + inquisitorial retinue basically lost ALL their flavor (just take a quick look at the 4th ed witch hunters book to see what I mean) AND are very weak now. Which is a shame, because to me, an inquisitor plus retinue is kind of the core of the army I'm interested in. The bright point for me is the crusade rules are great, look very thematic and fun, and the assassins, which look like good ally includes (mostly). But...they were kind of that way before I spent $60 on a codex so...
Hello, does anyone know what is the maximum amount of models in a Imperial Navy Breachers unit that can use the endurant shield? I am having issues understanding the expression "One other" used in that section of their datasheet.

@@Leighszar why is it so ? Interested
@jurgenwurgen3239 elaborate, please on requested info.
On the army in general or in those units I mentioned
Subductors with 4+ invulnerable saves... *A Terminator raise an eyebrow*

@@williamsalaets6884 the ordo demonica is so bad i wouldn't count it. Inquisitor definently has play. He's in all my list though I'm 3 and 3 total ATM

Add a Rogue Trader led Breachers squad to the infiltrating 33 Subductors mix up the board too…😅
You guys instantly got it wrong with the generic inquisitor…
@@salvadorarrona6815 how so?
Captain Artemis does do something for his unit, lethal hits isn’t a bad buff on a kill team that has access to sustained too.
All the Arbites squads should have access to the medic imo…

Greyfax got nerfed so hard with no returns

Its kinda sad that greyfax still doesnt do anything. She is such a cool character in lore.

Sisters+Immo package seems v useful for IK, keeping the 50 point backfield chaff unit from before Agents dex and having some access to ignores cover

Eversor is great in knights hold position whete you can alpha strike the warlord. 5+ fnp

To save some of you some time: Imperial Agents are bad. Nothing is rated well here comparatively.
