just like to say there are a few channels that do battle reports but you guys always seem to get the balance right engaging fun and so much enthusiasm, every time its a blast
A real simple army rule that would’ve been really fun is an “opposite” of assigned agents. If your army is Imperial Agents then you can take a certain points number (according to battle size) of any other imperial army’s units.
While I agree, and that would let Deathwatch bring in some Space Marine units to take the sting out of this situation,, my favored option would be an army rule that offers orbital bombardments in a way that fills the ranged anti-tank niche.
I was first cautiously optimistic, then interested for real and even planing on getting Ordo Xenos + Combat Patrol. Then more info came out, and then more and then the full "leak" and no Iam just dissapointed with GW. Looking forward to this Battle Report thou, the Inqusition army does look pretty snazzy on the table. Edit, that Greyfax anti-character 1 roll and the reroll into another 1 really sums up the Agents of the Imperium codex as a whole xD .
I am with you brothers, no more Spectrus, Indomintors, Proteus, or Fortis 😢 It’s an odd choice imo from GW. Poor Tammer doesn’t have much of a channel anymore either!
To fill in the people who don't understand why this happened to Deathwatch: My understanding is that James Workshop has a vision where each box is a unit, and each unit is a box. The Kill Teams that combine models from different units don't fit their vision for the product range. On top of that Proteus kill teams use the old bikes, which GW are removing from the range. Deathwatch Biker units and Deathwatch Terminators are similarly casualties of not being able to build the full set of unit options with a single box. When you strip out the Firstborn and combined Kill Team units there isn't much left to the subfaction. Not enough to fit well with a Primaris-focused brave new world for Space Marines.
given DW was on place 3 played armies (with the only armies played less being agents of imperium index and emperors children) and also with a range that was as small as harlequins its not remotely a suprise they got folded in, the real travesty is that this codex seems to be very rough on actual rules and the "best" part of it being the rules for allying . I just love the creative work they put into the imperial agents book! They have such a wide ranging selection of units all being specially selected by the inquisition to go on special missions. Assassins picking their targets every turn and cashing in their bounties for CP for the army. The deathwatch units able to load their weapons with specialized amo every turn to take a tactical advantage as veterans of the adeptus astartes and SO MUCH MORE. @thepastrychef8014 counter with should of used the heritics detachment lol. Honestly, though, I am 75% happy with the codex. As a primary agent player since ending of 9th to now. There is some good stuff. Just need a few tweaks to become competitive on their own. They need a sticky ability for agents list ( not talking about BSS and GK strat). It needs something like that f for navis. Voidsmen need to return to the battle line or have their retinue rule apply in agents' detachments (not count against the rule of 3 when attached as bodyguard). Inquisitorial henchman needs a buff. Right now, point wise is just bad (from leak), and dropping points won't make them that much more desirable. Points as a whole have to be dropped a bit(non character). Most units should be down around the 80-90 point.
And lastly to be honest if Games Workshop merchandise, etc , as greedy financial companie went financial bankrupt or went Bust they want get my sympathy from me because of stupid tournament, competitive, pivot rules & removing characters, etc, to Legends + 18 page clarification documents , etc, is a very bad silly mistake 100 per cent & if this bid happen because of Hobby Game Players quitting for solid reasons it's the UA-cam channel creators that are going to suffer the back lash , och 🤕 , unless you include, ie D🐉D , Hero Quest, Star Wars legion, Zombie apocalypse, Age of Sigmar, etc, that may keep you creator's a flot and may have to stop playing 4k game's that i have enjoyed playing scenes the early 80's because of rent increase starting at the end of September, etc, & be interesting to see how hobby gamer are going to respond to this latest bloomer from G.W recently, Boo 🫤

And Deathwatch have moved from fun to whatever the opposite of fun is.
40K rules are the one thing that need an ai chatbot
Wierd, you took navis detachment without using navis units.
I immediately noticed that, too! 😂
Well if we'd been sent any by GW, we'd have used them 🤷♂️
@thepastrychef8014 counter with should of used the heritics detachment lol. Honestly, though, I am 75% happy with the codex. As a primary agent player since ending of 9th to now. There is some good stuff. Just need a few tweaks to become competitive on their own. They need a sticky ability for agents list ( not talking about BSS and GK strat). It needs something like that f
for navis. Most units should be down around the 80-90 point.
worst codex they've released yet... and thats saing something after ADmech and custodes
It seems a very cool codex. But also very baaaaaad
Dont you watch WTC ?
Occasionally, what's the relevance?
@@thepastrychef8014 it’s happening right now, support team England but it’s seems like Poland is going to defend the world title… 😖
This codex is a joke.
