Seeing all these young people in FFA in 2024 made me so proud that it gave me goose bumps to watch this
It is a great annual event.
Oh, be real, lol... I too was thinking that he should have zoomed in to those girls, driving those tractors lol
@@realemonfuldefinitely give the single guys pleasure
Great seeing these young people with their tractors these are the future of our farms in North America
It sure is 👍👍
Yes, they are the future of our farms.
Love the mix of old and new, large and small, boys and girls! Nice parade!
It is a great annual event.
Absolutely love seeing all of these future farmers. And I just love that western KY is showing so much love for farming.
My granddaughter, a senior , drove her White this past Thursday, proud of her and her classmates
Very nice. What tractor did she drive.

Awesome tractor
@@malcolmmeer9761 cool. The original big Boss.
Wow, it is always amazing to see Mr. Billy Garnett on camera and to hear how this big time farmer supports his community is amazing! Thank you for sharing this with us!!!
Wish My FFA class back in the 70's had done this.
It is a great event. This community has had the tractor drive since 1976.
Every school had it, homecoming parade.....
What a great incentive for the kids and everyone else involved with this program! Well done to everyone!!
Love the 8650 and the 4955…
It is a great event to high light agriculture. I have a video of this 4955 on grain cart duty posted at ua-cam.com/video/vZFss2VfLaY/v-deo.htmlsi=xGoWGg1rdWBNJOUY
I hope to film the 8650 this year.
@@bigtractorpower l’ve watched the 4955 video you have posted!
Looking forward for the 8650 video!! Keep up your amazing videos, thanks so much for sharing all of them over the years!!!
I am a junior and I drove a John Deere 8225R to school. We call ours implement day and we have a lot more than just tractors show up.
Very cool. Glad you get a chance to take part in implement day.
Nice seeing the younger generation involved with ag. What impressed me the most was how polite the young folks were. Especially the fella with the Ford 9600 would respond with a “yes sir”. A very respectable character, his parents did a great job. It was nice to see compared to the contradicting of the “ gangsters” Great job 👏
It is a great for agriculture in the community. All of the students are enthusiastic about farming. The 9600 was a cool part of the event.
Love the Kinze repower.
My favorite one.
Congratulations to the F F A
members and their cruise.
Yep Kinze does a great job with these. I had a chance to buy one 3 years ago and I missed it, regret it to this day.
Kids did a great job. Gotta be some proud parents out there. Best wishes on their futures.
They sure did.
I already made a comment about the fact that im a young farmer but i love watching these i just think of every people happy to drive their tractor and im sure their exited of harvest and seeding season
man that 9600 put a smile on my face for sure
It sure is a cool tractor.
Good to see Kentucky is mostly going green lol that 4955 JD got my heart racing!!!
You can see the 4955 in the field in this video ua-cam.com/video/vZFss2VfLaY/v-deo.htmlsi=Xm7BfQN852mnGd3W
Nice seeing the old classics being driven by the new generation! Great video!
As someone born in 2003, the old stuff is so much cooler. You actually need skill to properly operate these machines, unlike the new ones in which there's a plethora of electronic nannies watching your every move and correcting them before they turn into mistakes.
great video! I was born in the wrong area of the country...my high school's (HFL, Rochester, NY) idea of "drive your tractor to school day" was kids driving their lawnmowers.
Honeoye Falls-Lima 👍👍. I went to Aquinas in Rochester. I took a friend to their prom at HFL.
@@bigtractorpowerha! I’ve known you were from Roc area, but what a small world coming to an HFL prom! I’m 5th gen farmer in my family in Lima.
Ford 9600 was my favorite. Our local school still does this but not as large as this. Thank you for sharing these!
I am glad to your school has a tractor drive. It is a great annual event to promote agriculture.
That was awesome! I always enjoy seeing the "Drive Your Tractor to School Day." Some of the kids probably don't get a lot of recognition any other day so this is a great positive way to participate. Thanks for bringing it to us. Seeing Billy there was awesome too!
It is a great event. The students, school and community do a great job. Billy is always nice to loan a tractor to the event.
It’s a great way to highlight agriculture and let kids take the lead.
I’m a FFA officer for my schools chapter and I’m the reporter and I wish we could do this. And my favorite tractor was the John Deere 8235R because we have this exact same model tractor at my family farm to plant and for grain cart.
Beautiful machine, you’re lucky to get to even look at that tractor. I’m a bit north of NYC so you do not see anything remotely similar.
That would be so cool to do. Got to see Billy Garnett as well. I like the 9RX 640.
It’s always great to visit with Billy. He had loaned a 9RX to event the past few years.
This is always fun to watch. Love that 9600! Great to hear from all the kids involved too.
The 9600 was a very cool part of event.
New tractors are cool and comfy and what not but I wanna see them in 40 years like that 8650. You can't beat the old tractors that truly have stood the test of time!!
That was awesome! Made my old Todd county born and raised heart proud.
Very cool. Todd County is a great place.
I was planning on bringing on of our case 620 quadtracs to tractor day last week. It was deader than a doornail. Ended up bringing or 380 magnum rowtrac. The CVT made deiving theough town really nice.
Both very cool tractors 👍👍
I enjoy seeing all of the young kids driving a tractor to school. It is neat to watch. I hope many of them get into the farm. Great video.
👍👍
Thank you jason for this video thank you to all the FFA STUDENTS AND THERE ADVISORS TEACHERS AND PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS WHO ARE INVOLVED IN AG OR FFA .
I WISHED OUR SCHOOL DIST HAD FFA PROGRAM TO OFFER TO STUDENTS MAYBE IN THE FUTURE .THANK YOU JASON FOR THIS VIDEO
Awesome. As someone who farmed his entire life and is now disabled, this made me well up with happiness to watch. Thank you.
What a great event !! So wonderful to see schools supporting agriculture again!!! Loved seeing the ford 5000 in that sea of green!! We had one on our farm in the late 60’s-early 70’s! Our first diesel…great tractor!!💙
The 5000 is one of the all time great tractors. The Todd County FFA has been having this drive each year since 1976.
Awesome, seems it was about 50/50 young ladies driving and young men.
The american way is still alive and thriving in small towns all across the heartland! City folk will just never understand.
Small town life is best.
"Nothing Runs Like A Deere" 🦌 👍 🇺🇸
👍👍
Good stuff Jason👊🇺🇸 brought back the memories of when I was in FFA and drove my 4320 Deere to school. Looks like they had pretty good weather atleast. 👍👍
Agriculture is the backbone of this country we need more of this in every town all over our country I love farming and agriculture and I love tractors and farm equipment I’ve been around it all my life it makes me feel so good to see this with the young generation coming up now and always give our Lord Jesus all the praise and glory and worship and thank a farmer 🚜
Wish we did that at my high school. I'm a hick from the sticks in Upstate NY. My HS could have come-up with that many tractors on a "Drive your tractor to school" day. Most of us learned to drive through learning to drive a tractor. Betcha some of those classic tractors were fixed up by the student driving it.
Nice old buildings in back ground (Soda Fountain). Nice to see young ladies drive the large tractors.
What a blessing to be able to drive a quad trac, always wanted to drive one!
Great to see. Wish more school systems supported ffa like that. Good to see those young ladies making their daddies proud in several of those machines.
Todd County really does a great job on supporting agriculture and the FFA. It would be great to see that enthusiasm across the U.S.
I graduated high school in 2001. We never had that.. it’s very nice to see. Thank you for sharing
I sure would have liked to take part in a tractor drive when I was in high school too
8:28 that 8Rs front wheels are so tight, must be scraping, and I wish my school in Maryland would do this, this would be so fun
A delightful tradition...
Magnificent machinery...
Oh my...
🇿🇦🩷🚜
It is a great annual event to highlight agriculture. Thank you for watching.
Nice tractors i like the ford 9600💙👍
It’s a very cool 70’s tractor. Sold new in Bowling Green, KY.
Great video, This is America! 🇺🇸 I was born/raised, and currently reside a bit north of NYC, it’s been my lifetime dream to see these massive machines in real life. Our local John Deere doesn’t care anything remotely close to this.
Cool to see the ford's are still out there on the farms there great tractors
What an awesome video! So nice & pleasant to see young kids being so polite & saying "yessir, yessir"! I like em all but green is my favorite!
When I was about this age ,we had a john Deere 720 ,nothing quite as large as some of this parade .
I love the 8650 because it has a Kinzie repower.👍🚜
It’s a solid tractor. 👍👍
This is fantastic.
It is a great annual event they have held for 48 years.
They do this at our school. You might even see a tractor or two there on prom night. : )
Very cool.
I'm 63 and a life member of the great F F A .
I'm Canadian and we have these too depending on the school. My school is the only one in the entire county that does it and last year there was only 4 of us (me in my jd 2120, a 4230 jd, a 4440 collectors/farmers jd and a valtra) there were others who were going to but they backed out after 1 couldn't start his tractor and the other one just didn't, another person i knew was also going to bring a tractor in because his family is a large farm but only didnt bring any in as he wanted the new big stuff. Don't know how many people are trying this year however I know my brother wants to drive tractor now so he will be taking over for me when I graduate. As it looks like last year I'm the only grade 12 that not only owns a tractor but will also drive it to school
Love it. Love them old internationals
Great video, really liked of JD 4955, 8650, Ford 9600 and Agco was nice too 😄👍
It did not look like this at my high school, wow, impressive array!
Great video, great to see all these tractors together
Thank you for watching. It is a great annual event.
The Kinze repower was cool, the Farmall H and I think B, the Ford 5000 (Dad had a 1966 4000), and the Challenger as I don't see many of those. Great event and young people!
👍👍👍👍
I would just come hauling in with a 1949 Ford 8n that looks like it sat in a field for 7 years, but roaring like no other n-series.(It turns extra rpms and runs great)
This is cool see the kids talking about the tractors. Thanks for the video. Really liked the Ford and Challenger
Thank you for watching. The MT685D, 5000 and 9600 were stand outs.
Did anyone else think about the protests going on around the world concerning farming. The last time I checked, the Eu townsquares were filled with angry displays of farmin'. I love the fact that I see females up in those machines. It makes me have hope that a sense of reason still has a chance. Stay blessed and Safe.
amazing, modern farming tools
Love it thank good job 👍👍👍🙏👏
Thank you for watching.
it was the ford 9600, I grew up driving ford tractors
The 9600 was cool to see. When I was growing up a dairy farm near me was all Ford. Their big tractor was a 9000 with a cab. Though tractors.
@@bigtractorpower It is a tough one! before Fords my grandpa had a Massey and now my dad run John Deere because the prices and dealers are better than New Holland where I live but New Holland are good tractors too
Even though I’m partial to Deere, I liked seeing the Challenger in the parade along with the Ford 9600..
Two very cool tractors at the event.
Super!
Thank you for watching.
That has got to be one of the coolest things ever!
It is a great annual event.
Well done FFA members!
👍👍
Love to see this in the UK 🇬🇧
It would be neat to see this agriculture high light done in other countries.
Loving it from Hopkins County!!!!
Just up the road 👍👍
Great video. Surprised by there being so few vintage/project tractors.
Almost all of these tractors are right out of the field. All of these tractors were driven that morning directly from the farm around the country to the parade. The modern ones add a bit of speed from further distances.
Good video Jason. My cousin took our Allis-Chalmers 7045 to his school.
Very cool. The 7045 is one of my favorite tractors.
That 8650 repower was the coolest
Hello! Fine event! Cool to see a Ford 5000! My learning tractor, forty five years ago when fourteen...
It is was nice to see a 5000. One of the all time great tractors built.
@@bigtractorpower 👌
This is awesome 👏🏻
👍👍
My favorite tractor was the challenger love seeing something different that you don’t see every day
The MT685D was a good one to see. I film at the farm that owns the Challenger. Here is their wheat harvest from 2023 ua-cam.com/video/hiVG2YZ1VQY/v-deo.htmlsi=Isz8FtEotDWnHr8J
I was really hoping someone would've had an old 895 versatile !!
That's definitely a great event😄👍 the green machines are cool, but blue, red and yellow are not bad either😉👍 nice video👍👍
I like all the brands. It a great mix.
Challenger tractor all the way 🎉
I never thought, in my wildest dreams, that young people could handle equipment that size.
They handle bigger when plows, seeders and cultivators are attached.
What did you expect when half of these kids are born into AG families
I'd love it if our school could do that, but it's not fully legal xD
Great tractors and lots of motivated farmers, which is very much needed here as well if we want to continue.
Proud to be from Todd Co.
Great county and community. 👍👍
That is awesome we never had that when I went to school
I wish my school had had this event as well.
Our county in Northern Utah has 2 high schools and both have FFA programs. We have a lot of ag in the county Farmhand Mike did a video here 2 years ago where he learned to irrigate with a siphon tube. The one school had 3 tractors on drive your tractor to school day and I don't know how many the other had.
That is great they have tractor days and support FFA. That is neat about the irrigation. Mike makes great farming videos.
Wish my school had ffa but apparently we need to learn how to fold clothes more.
Fine display there 👍👍👍
It’s a fun event.
That was interesting. It was about half girls, if not more. There was only a couple girls in our FFA in Central Indiana in 1984 through 88.
FFA is a big part of the community in Todd County. The Chamber of Commerce had a breakfast with over 200 people at it earlier in the week to support the FFA.
Now THATS AMERICA 🇺🇸
👍👍
Hello everyone good vidéo big tractor power
I have a childhood friend who left for the United States. He created his farm in Kentucky. Today he has been there for 16 years and his son is at this school and this friend is participating in the FFA. every two or three years I won't be able to tell you that this tractor has it because it has really changed
That is neat they are in Kentucky. It is a good place to farm. .
Good video.
Thank you for watching.
👋hi👋 from Dexter🏠Missouri
Super💯Amazin video. As always.
Thank you James.
HMMM, well, see all the little girls operating this equipment...i guess theres still a few good dads out there, trusting their daughters with their prize tractors.
John deere 4955 blowing smoke. ❤️
The 4955 is a cool tractor. You can see the one in the parade in this video at work in the field ua-cam.com/video/vZFss2VfLaY/v-deo.htmlsi=SNg-jAY_i47nO6CB
Next year some kid will show up in his dads new 9Rx830 for the parade.
I sure hope so. I hope to film a 9RX 830 on Billy’s farm this year who loans his 9RX 640 to the event.
You should do Wittenberg Wi spring drive your tractor to school day for ffa
Goose bumps!
How many 16, 17 and 18 year olds from LA or NYC could put down their video games to do this? Not to mention the dads allowing their sons and daughters to take out very expensive pieces of equipment.
Farm life is a good way to grow up.
@@bigtractorpower Yes Sir: I was blessed to grow up on a farm. Nine years old during Christmas Vacation sitting on a tractor 8 hours a day disking cotton ground. My dad would come by the fields my older brother and I were working around 3pm to fuel the tractors. The biggest treat of the day came in the form of a Baby Ruth candy bar. Cold, hungry and dirty but that candy bar tasted like Heaven.
Imagine the traffic
In the UK that 5000 and 9600 are very rare our 9600 mostly qcab
Very interesting. I did not know the 5000 was a rare model in the UK. What were the popular sellers for Ford in the UK? I always think of Ford as a top selling brand in the UK in its day.
They sold well but lots were exported
4000 5000 7000s
I started from school with ford dealer in 1979
I am favorite trucktor 😂
I got to drive my 1949 John Deere M to school for drive your tractor to school day.
Very nice.

I live in quebec and i work in my family dairy farm and im a 14yo my dream is to farm our land later in life
That is a great dream. I visited Quebec in 2018. I visited a dairy farm and saw several nice ones in my travels there.
