I need to go through my old tax records and see exactly what I spent on reverse osmosis systems that were needed to remove boron from my NE California well water. The boron was so high that it curled plants much like 2,4,D does...
I got roughly 10 gallons of waste water to each gallon of pure water and had to replace the filter stages every couple weeks. My nursery would not be able to function without boron removal.
The plus side to a well high boron well is you'll have no aches and pains and it helped me get over a quad accident where I hit a mule deer.
