  • G'day friends,

Wow!! Imagine someone buys a house thinking they have a full lawn, only to discover that there ARE sidewalks and a concrete patio. You are such a good man! And I'm so glad that you got a riding lawnmower! It's been a profound investment!
    🌟Good Job!🤗

I am literally speechless. I have never seen that much concrete so totally consumed by overgrown grass. You are awesome Sean. Not many people would have even tried to remove it, just mowed over like everyone must have done. You didn’t even hesitate, just cleaned it up and unearthed a nice patio space and walkways. You are totally awesome! Thank you for being you, and caring about others and a job well done. ❤️

Most lawn people I watch do exactly do what Sean did - strip it and take it away.
Shame the revealed concrete was a bit ugly. Perhaps they’ll put down some pretty slabs.

That's at the very least a decade. More than likely a good 15-20 years of build up. Insane. It's either that,, or the previous owners laid a ton of soils down and then had sod rolled over the top to save on breaking up the concrete and having it removed.

And they would also be just as thorough as he was in mowing the grass and trimming around any fence people have since that’s the purpose of cleaning up the grass and weeds around the perimeter of their fences so their lawn would look fresh and clean. And gardeners are very good at mowing and trimming, cleaning up and do some nice landscaping, too. 😊

I've heard of outdoor carpeting before, but todays grass carpet peel was 'over the top' for viewer interest. And in that process, you revealed such a big patio! (I guess you could say it was buried treasure!) Even when doing the most difficult jobs - like today - you don't leave them half-done, but you always finish it off to what we have come to know as the Blade Mate Lawn Care standard. До вашего прихода этот дом выглядел как заросший брошенный бродяга, а после вашей работы - теперь он помолодел, и ввглядит как достойный и приятный человек средних лет ! Браво, вы сотворили настоящие чудо 🎉🎉🎉❤

To answer your question when pulling out that small hill of metal most would answer "Lions and tigers and bears", but in Aussie land the answer is, " Snakes and spiders and how many other types of life ending creatures.". You are a legend Sean.

I find it fascinating that almost every yard you cut has a clothesline. That use to be the case in the USA but there a few, very few left.

Aussie houses 🏡 love their clotheslines
We put a tarp over ours in summer. Instant pergola for the sun ☀️ To get shade

In England and Ireland they have clotheslines, too, for summer/fall clothes drying. As the Aussies are descended from the English and the Irish, they do the same. But the Aussies make it a nice, neat trip via sidewalks to the clothesline. I'm sure other continentals have clotheslines like the English. Here in the US, we've gone over to washers AND dryers, and left off hanging clothes out to dry. It's something that fascinates Americans, seeing the special clothesline and sidewalks.
