This episode of From the Star Wars Home Video Library focuses upon the Blu-ray and DVD versions of The Clone Wars: The Complete Seasons 1 - 5 boxed set from the UK (2013).
I’ve been looking in to this set. Thanks for confirming it’s region free. Many eBay posters don’t seem to think that’s relevant information to post lol
I have this exact UK DVD boxset i got this about 2 years ago along with the German Season 6 The Lost Missions DVD boxset. (there was no UK DVD release of season 6.) (Also i have the movie which i bought back in 2008)
Funny thing is that the UK edition is very similar to the Latin America's edition. Except here in LA the box is hard paperboard near to plastic, with texture and different box package very tuff haha
Great video, Nathan! I've been looking at buying a company let's set in order to have a story chronological set of all the SW video media. Thanks for the info!!
Damn! I wanted to grab the uk edition but i need the spanish subtitles. Thanks to tell the languages options. Do you know if the german edition have the castillian or latin american spanish?
Garrett McElwain Yes, as long as it is the Blu-ray set and not the DVD set. The Blu-ray set is all region, so it works on an American PS4, which is region A if region-locked. I tend to play them on a PS3 that I use as basically a Blu-ray player only.
@@Gintoki-wv8bx Glad to help. By the way, if you happen to have a PlayStation VR (older or newer version, doesn't matter), you can watch any Region A or All-Region (marked as ABC) Blu-ray 3D disc on the PS4 also. I use that sometimes to be able to view with a bigger virtual "screen" than on our small, old PS branded 3D Display in my office. It's just an individual experience, of course, since only the person wearing the headset will see the film. No need for special high-speed wiring because the PSVR's HDMI cables already supply the speed necessary for 3D.
To be honest, yes they are an eyesore but I can’t help but feel they’re better to put on the cases as with American releases the rating is hidden on the back in tiny print. Speaking as someone who lives in the UK I maybe biased.

Love these videos!
For the record, I got the quiz question right!

I just got that!

Hey I’m from the US and do the seasons 1-5 blu rays play over here in the us in your blu Ray player
Code1Lyoko Yes. The Blu-rays are region free. The DVD version is not.
Nathan Butler your from the US too are you and did you try making them work before???
@@Code1LyokoYes, and I've already answered this. The Blu-rays work because they are region-free. The DVD version will not because it's Region 2.

No idea. I haven't picked up the German version. You might find info on Blu-ray.com, though.
Will this play on an American PS4?

Nathan Butler thanks for the information and replying so quickly! I really enjoy your videos. Have a nice day :-)

I find those UK ratings symbols to be so ugly! Such God-awful and huge blemishes on the covers and spines of things.
