Herb the ginseng drummer, he's been able to last as long most of his predecessors in the 90s it's cuz he was in a band called Primus and the music was not labeled for just One singular genre, it encompassed many genres, three members 3 musical backgrounds, and no egos. three guys with three ideas no man is bigger than the other or their music! in this band they're all on the same platform but they're able to do their own things on their platform and join together in this melting pot, of unbelievable music. And Tim Alexander Serves as the the bricklayer for this band. He lays a foundation of madness. And you have to have mutual respect for one another be precise ,creative, and comprehensive palette for a beautiful tapestry of music. And on this night that mother f***** was badass. Tour de Fromage was a beast! And he was the backbone of it and still is(Charlie the Chocolate Factory, desaturating seven) neither Brain or Jay Lane..... but herb! My favorite drummer from the 90s, possibly all time. Dog will hunt!!!!!
We can only dream that Primus will one day allow all the live footage that was taken from the Tour de Fromage to surface. Blame It On The Fish was the tip of the iceberg of what was covered.
underrated drummer
Tim Alexander is among my favorite drummers.
Amazing herb solo! The best part of Primus!
A true percussionist.
I really listened to lots of drum solos but this one catches me unbelievably in its purest😘😘😘
