Taylor then started singing mantras in Ridge's ear that you can't do that to your dad, leave Brooke etc etc etc. So Ridge pretended to date Taylor and then he had a woman appear to be in bed so Brooke would stay with Eric. He married Taylor so Brooke could stay married to Eric. But when Brooke was married to Eric he constantly chased her until finally they had a one time thing in the lab. But after Taylor got involved she started manipulating everyone to get him. Just think Steffy, Liam and Hope. Except she was written as the so called good girl.

Also they did not live together, Ridge still resided at the guest house of the Forrester mansion, where he and Taylor would be living. And Taylor did not interfere, Ridge for a long time could not make a choice between Brooke and Taylor. He ultimately chose for Taylor, which Brooke lovers can never accept I know, and since he did not want Brooke anymore, he hoped to let her get back to Eric and therefore he made that set up with that other woman. And Ridge did not constantly chase Brooke before, it was the other way around, Brooke was in love with Ridge already when she said her wedding vows to Eric. Taylor did not manipulate anything, she did not even want to do anything with Ridge in that way for a long time, she even told him he should sort things out with Brooke. She had left town now and did not want to be found by Ridge. He actively chased her and then proposed to her. He actually had to convince her to say yes.
I miss those days with many of these characters
The Bold and the Beautiful first aired in 1987 so they've been on the air for 34 years, wow that's a long time.
I've been watching it from the very first episode. The old ones are so much better
I watched from the beginning with some breaks here and there. Old ones are classics and much better than the current ones
