Maybe it's because he's slept with her before, which could also be the reason why Ridge forgave her when he found out. I've heard that after you've made love to someone, it has that affect on you.

Eric treated Brooke better than he ever treated Stephanie! Brooke did the unthinkable yet he left Stephanie because he believed that she was being so horrible to Brooke! He's quick to come to Brooke's defense but with Stephanie he condemns her! All Brooke has to do is bat her eyes, cry an they fall for her lies! Despicable!

Stephanie could've told the press as if it became public, FC would have no choice but to get rid of Brooke to keep their image respectable. It would've been the perfect thing Stephanie needed to get rid of Brooke once and for all. The only reason Stephanie didn't was because she knew what it would do to Bridget and she loves Bridget. She didn't keep quiet for Brooke's sake, not that Brooke deserves support anyway.
so true, as Ridge and Eric let Brooke and her sisters cause so much more scandal. In 2005, Stephanie learned that Eric lied to her for years about the real owner of FC. he lied and hid from Stephanie that she was the owner of FC with 100% of the shares of FC
Brooke had stock, majority stock. So Brooke would still been walking into FC like she owned the place because she did. So they couldn't force her out.
The acting between John mccook and katherine kelly lang is so good and so touching. It’s so believable.

This should of been when Eric asked why was Massimo in on a family secret. Maybe the biggest paternity shocker wasn't who was Hope's father but who was Ridge's daddy.
